Open Valley Academy of Pembroke Pines

My son it’s been attending open valley academy in west Pembroke Pines since he’s 8 months old, I have nothing but great comments to make about this school, starting with their director Ms. Anaiz, the amazing teachers and staff, my son it’s now in VPK with Ms. Cris and Ms. Marjorie he has learn so much, nothing feels better that knowing that he’s ready for Kindergarten thanks to these dedicated teachers that truly care about their students. Open valley it’s been a great blessing in our lives.

We picked this Day Care for our son who is about 4months old and he has been there for 2 weeks. So far we love it. The teachers in the infant room are amazing, already feel like family and its only been 2 weeks. The school is clean, organized, safe, and they organize events to get parents involved such as easter & mothers day. The price is comparable to other daycare centers but in my opinion the quality is much higher.

Love this school! I have two kids that have been enrolled in the flamingo location. I have one pre school graduate who is now in kindergarten with a great start. My youngest is 2 and is still attending open valley flamingo, and they have been such a great help in her development and potty training which is great. The parents are always welcome to the school and once a month we are invited to join a variety of activities. The pre school graduation was an amazing production! I feel like my girls have benefited greatly from attending open valley flamingo the oldest all 4 years of her daycare life. Also I think it’s great that in the 4 years of being an open valley flamingo parent almost all the teachers have stayed the same, and in my experience all speak English and my 2 year olds teacher doesn’t speak Spanish at all. I haven’t had one bad experience and will always recommend this location.

Excellent School!
One of my kids graduated Pre-​K in June 2014 from Open Valley and my youngest currently attends. This School is conveniently located in Pembroke Pines, it has great facilities, a big outdoor playground with slides and monkey bars etc. My two kids have learned a lot since they started attending this place. Teachers are sweet and take the safety of my little ones seriously. Love their Xmas plays, the beautiful graduation ceremony of our little Sarah will be in our memories forever!

I recently had the chance to meet the owner of this location. One of my very close friend’s children attends his academy. I got to learn about the inner workings of his locations, how much the employees really care about the children (they’re super passionate and have extra certifications) and how the consistently they rank high in their VPK scores. This location and the other Open Valley have tight security procedures in place as well. If you’re looking for a place to place your child in the Pembroke Pines area, I would give them a good look for sure.

I don’t know where to begin. When I drove up, the school is located in a plaza. Big NO for me. This school occupied the upper level as well, which I didn’t like. When it’s time to evacuate, how do you get all the babies out of the building quickly and safely? I walked inside and was greeted by a young woman who did not speak any English AT ALL! She had to find someone who could assist me in English. As I waited, I observed a classroom to the right at the entrance and even the teacher was speaking only Spanish. Maybe all of the children spoke Spanish? I’m not so sure but I did observe one little boy who looked completely lost. I would hate for my baby to be in a class and feel left out. I don’t mind having Spanish and English in the curriculum and especially when the staff is fluent in both. After waiting a little while, she returned with no help and I simply asked her for a brochure and left knowing that this wasn’t going to be the chosen one.
