From its humble beginnings over thirty years ago the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce is thriving and is committed to helping our businesses thrive too!

History

Established in 1969.

The first meeting of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce was held in 1969 in the Miramar Diner, with 17 members attending. Ed Minaya, then publisher of the Mirror, brought together 19 local businesspeople and formed a charter to organize the Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce. Incorporation came on December 11, 1969.

Regional

As the Chamber membership has grown, a portion of our membership is derived from outside of the Miramar Pembroke Pines area which keeps us on the cutting edge of the regional concept. Thus, the Chamber added «Regional» to its name.
