Very kind and courteous. FYI*** Do not buy the $ 129 groupon it does not save you any money.*** Its not Midas’s fault per say its just not a true deal, unless ALL you need is just new pads. and as we all know there is no way to get any work done on car for one price there is always «Something else» and they have the advantage because the majority know nothing about cars. But, this review is not to say do not go to Midas not all, they did and do nothing different than every other shop.

Beware: Women, elderly, young people, anyone that look vulnerable these people are predators out to get you to spend on whatever service they can make the most buck for, regardless of whether you need it or not. I won’t say the guys name for fear of retaliation. These people are thugs and criminals.

BEWARE! Do not give them your credit card info. They are not honest! They WILL charge you more than quoted!
RUN FAST AND FAR, trust me!

I strongly discourage use of this Midas. They will try to take advantage of anyone they suspect they can. They will pressure upsells, extra services, terrible fluid exchanges, or anything else they think they can get money out of you for.

I do not usually write reviews because I am not normally this disappointed in the service that is received. This location is unprofessional in their work and their customer service. They took advantage of my teen age son when he went in for an oil change and did not perform the work they stated they would. When I followed up with them they claimed my husband approved this work and that it was on our paperwork. Neither of those are statements are true. It took a week to get anyone to return my call and email and they only did after I called Midas Corporate. As a Customer Service Manager this is what I tell my employees not to do. Customer Service is so important to every experience and their customer service made the bad work they did look even worse.

Manager is EXTREMELY unprofessional! Went in for an alignment at 12:30 and was told it would take an hour. However, the car wasn’t «done» until 3:15. I drove the car, and the car was NOT aligned. I went back and they said they would take a look at it. So I left the car there. They never called me so I showed up at 5:47 because they close at 6 and car was still in the same place, untouched. Went to complain to the manager, and he was uncooperative, EXTREMELY rude, no customer service whatsoever! And the manager even said «We do not need you, we have plenty of other customers». Even after I spent almost $ 200. In other words, STAY AWAY!!! Unless you want to waste your time and hard earned money, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! HORRIBLEEE…

I too purchased my tires from Tire rack. Upon arrival, the price quoted was higher than advertised on Tire rack and I was pressured to purchase a four wheel alignment. This was a procedure I did not need but I figured what the heck. What should have been a quick and inexpensive service was time consuming and a rip off. The alignment made absolutely no difference in ride or handling. I gave them an extra star for taking me without an appointment.

What an absolute joke this place is. I ordered 4 new tires from Tire Rack for my mom’s car and had them delivered to this store and had them installed, mounted, balanced & aligned on 01÷25÷14. There have been two major issues since having these put on:
1. When I got the car back the ride was very bumpy and my son had checked the pressure on the back 2 tires and they were over 40 PSI, nearly 10 over the recommended PSI and what was noted on the paperwork from this location.
2. The most important and EXPENSIVE issue has been that the TPMS light has been consistently on for the last few weeks due the negligence of the techs there I am having to spend nearly $ 300 in diagnostic fees, parts and labor because the Kia dealership states that one of the TPMS sensors was damaged by Midas when the new tires were installed. I took the car to this same Midas location last week (03÷08÷14) and sat there waiting for nearly 4 hours for them just to say that one of the sensors is bad and that it would cost over $ 200 to repair it. I asked the rep how this could happen and his response was «It just happens». The communication with me while I was waiting there at this location was horrible, I saw MANY other customers come in after me and leave before me. I was constantly having to go up to the front desk and ask what was the status of the repair/​diagnosis.
I feel this is extremely unfair that now I have to spend nearly $ 300 out of my pocket due to mistakes and shoddy work done at this Midas location. At the very least I should be refunded for this negligence.
Fast forward nearly a week later after going back and forth with the owner (Mr. Cristian Vazquez) via email & phone. He sends a letter saying they did nothing wrong and gives me a coupon for a free oil change?! Really?! I would NEVER trust this poor excuse for an auto repair shop to even touch any of our cars again. What a complete joke.
In the end my advice is to stay VERY VERY FAR AWAY from this Midas and for that matter I would honestly never trust ANY Midas location ever again.

and had them delivered here to be installed. Called at 8:30 am to set up an afternoon appt, and they said they were slow and I can bring it in right away. Estimate was 90 minutes for tire change and alignment.
Upon arrival, I was given a written estimate. The first thing I noticed was the seemingly high labor charge. Tire Rack had them at $ 12.99 per tire, $ 2.50 per valve stem, and $ 2.50 per tire disposal fee… $ 72 plus tax for labor, and $ 20 for stems and disposal is what it should be, correct? No, $ 90+ for the labor alone. Then there was a TPMS valve stem fee of $ 26 and my car doesn’t have a TPMS. All in all they had thrown in an extra $ 40 in bunk fees and would have charged me had I not noticed.
The previous day I had $ 1300 worth of engine work done at ForeignTech. All fluids, timing belt, serpentine belt, replaced the tensioner, rebuilt power steering pump, new spark plugs… Bunch of work. So with all of that, I was surprised when the tech told me that my serpentine belt was «loose» and I needed all my fluids changed due to the mileage, or at least filled. Also with the mileage, my transmission fluid probably needed to be changed, as well as my cabin air filter… At this point I’m thinking that the fluids had gotten a little low or ForeignTech hadn’t done what they claimed, or this guy was trying to sell me services I didn’t need. When I told him all the work I had done the day prior, he was stunned. He hadn’t checked any of these things I «probably needed» and when he did, he realized they had done everything they said they did at ForeignTech and asked me what shop I went to because they had done such a great job. Amazing about face from making false statements and clearly making false claims about the condition of my vehicle and what it needed. This is exactly what is wrong with this industry and why so many people don’t trust mechanics.
So, my 90 minutes ended up being 3 hrs with the alignment, $ 186 OTD to mount and balance new tires, and do a 4-​wheel alignment. They did a good job on the alignment and I want to give them a second star for that, but fraudulent statements about the condition of my vehicle, attempting to charge me for services not rendered or required, and taking double the quoted time means 1 star. I will also be reporting them to the BBB as this is a consumer hazard of a shop.

I had a excellent experience today at Midas on Flamingo Rd at Sheridan Street. Manager Ricardo took care of getting my new rims and tires installed and aligning my car more quickly than I expected. They also loaded my old wheels/​tires into the car, using plastic to protect my seats. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable and I will recommend this Midas shop to others.

Today I went in and Scott was VERY kind an courteous, and treated me like family. He made suggestions as to what my car needed, but did not try to high pressure sell me. He made me a great deal on my tires! I bought an oil change, 2 tires and windshield wiper blades. I will definitely be bringing all of my cars to him.

I arrived at 1:30 pm on a Monday for an oil change and change of wipers. There was only one person available, and she was on the phone. Took about 5 minutes to help me. Fine. Said it would take 1 hour (even though there were no other customers around). Fine. I left for a walk in the shopping center. Came back, sat down. Only when I asked how the car is going did they call me inside, to tell me: because you’re reaching 60,000 you need to install front and rear brake pads, top off brake fluid, and do a number of fluid exchanges (power steering, coolant, transmission, engine oil)… $ 1,000+. Really?
I asked if they had completed what they were supposed to do, and said another 25 minutes.
Left at 3:30 PM. They did not change wipers because they didn’t have what my car needed. Ok. Please say so at the beginning.
I will not be coming back.

Quote 369 for catalytic converter odyssee. Wife dropped off car, was told car had 3 converters. Ok want the main one changed, universal fit, price as quoted. Pick up car, oh universal wouldnt fit, used direct fit, 599 plus 250 installation. No calls to confirm, claimed wife saw prices on computer and they did us right. 369 to 900 without directly talking to me. This converter can be bought onljne for 289. She asked for 24.95 oil change. Tried to upsell a 59.95 oil change. Take your chances. I wont again.
