Magic Tan & Massage

WOW!!! Being somewhat new to the area I was looking for a massage place and stumbled on this treasure! one of THE BEST massages I have EVER had. Elyssa was amazing and I can’t wait to go back to her. Kathyrn at the counter was so welcoming and friendly. It is so nice to go to a business were you feel like a client and not just a number. This place delivered! It was so clean too! I highly recommend this place!!!

If you’re looking for AMAZING customer service, top of the line tanning equipment at reasonable prices, and the best massages/​facials around then look no further! The girls here are extremely knowledgeable and super sweet! You definitely don’t get that typical tanning salon vibe here. The owner catherine, is the sweetest most caring person! She really takes care of her customers and makes sure they are always leaving happy! She even brings in healthy home made goodies on the weekends ;) they have some of the best tanning beds in the area and the bulbs are always new and HOT! They also have a Versa which is great if you want some instant gratification and wanna get a quick spray. The girls are all very helpful and will make your time here even better! And omg the massage therapists/​estheticians are out of this world!!! I’ve gotten massages by a few different girls here and EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve been more than impressed. They also use top of the line skincare and give you a luxurious facial every time! I love Magic Tan and Massage and wouldn’t go anywhere else for all of my tanning and skincare needs! :)

Service was so good! Was able to make an impromptu appointment and got great service. Booked the 60 min massage and it was fantastic. Will certainly go back.

We are new to the area and I’m so glad I found Magic Tanning. Tiffany at the front task was super helpful and very friendly. The beds were new and the place was very clean. I’m looking forward to going back and also getting a massage. They offer a variety of package and you don’t have to sign a contract.

DO NOT PAY TO TAN HERE! I was here yesterday to tan and as soon as I got in the bed, it started to spark and smoke & almost caught fire! After jumping out & telling the girl up front, she had the nerve to tell me that it was because the bed was too close to the wall but I could clearly see a hole in the wiring and sparks coming from it. Not only is this place dangerous & unsafe, they are very rude. They only offered to upgrade me for that (1) day to a better bed & not even for the rest of my month that I paid for, expecting me to continue to use this dangerous bed after somebody ‘fixed it’. When I refused & asked for a refund for the remainder of the month I had left, I was told she had to speak with the owner and let me know. Of course, I haven’t received a call. Please do not bother with this place… they care more about profit than they do about the well being & safety of their customers.

While I’ve been coming to Magic Tan & Massage for 20+ years for tanning, just recently I started getting massage and luv it! I’ve used Bridgett multiple times now… from relaxing therapeutic massage to deep massage when I’ve screwed up my back or leg. She is awesome. There are other massage therapists there as well but Bridgett and I clicked and she is excellent… sure the others are too. everyone here is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and great at what they do! I used to live close by, have since moved yet I won’t go anywhere else to tan or massage. its worth the drive!

Magic Tan is a great place to get a tan, massage, facial, or wax. I have spoken to customers who have been going since it first opened, and they say that nothing beats this place! As a younger and less experienced customer, I have always had a comfortable experience at Magic Tan. The employees know what they are talking about and are very friendly and helpful. The owner, Catherine, is super friendly and knowledgeable, and on Saturdays she will sometimes bring in homemade food for you to snack on while you wait! I have tried the tanning beds and the spray tan booth, and they both look fantastic and not orange or fake at all. Some of the nicer beds have different tanning settings and a water mister inside! The massage therapists are also wonderful and so kind. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone I know!

I really like this place, and it’s closest to my house. I like the beds they offer, as well as stand up beds. I have tanned in the KBL bed which is amazing BC you get really good color that is more bronze (you can choose between bronze and pink tans in this bed) and it plays music off your phone, and mists you with water while you tan as well as fans. It also has facial bulbs but I don’t tan my face BC I don’t want to look like leather face when I’m older or age faster. The stand up beds look a little old, but if they are changing the bulbs often it shouldn’t matter how old the beds are. I have also had an hour body massage here which was good, but not great. It did do the trick, but not as much as I had hoped. Their prices are very reasonable on massages, so I can’t complain. Also, their tanning prices and packages are a bit pricey, so I suggest getting a tanning package for the stand up or one of the lower level beds so that when you come in you can upgrade each time to use the KBL bed for only 7 dollars. The women here are very professional and very nice! Overall I do really like this place and I keep coming back, not just BC it’s close to home, but BC the service so far is good-​great.

Magic tan has a cozy, refreshing, and inviting atmosphere. I’ve been several times and have always been happy with whatever service I’m getting. The tanning beds are great, the spray tan looks amazing, and the massage therapists are all fantastic. The owner is a nice, friendly and very knowledgable woman.

As someone who’s experienced many salon environments, I have to say this salon has been my best experience. You can tell that Catherine, the owner, really takes pride in her business. The front desk girls are all very knowledgeable and kind, which is great because in south florida good customer service is so hard to find. They just got a new tanning bed that actually lets you choose which kind of tan you want (basic, Mediterranean and Caribbean)! They also do massages, facials and waxes. You can’t beat an hour massage for only $ 60 or an hour facial for $ 65!
And as a bonus, the owner makes DELICIOUS hummus that she sells! Yummmmmm :)

This spa is close to heaven! It’s a full service spa… massage, facial, tanning…

I love this place. it is right around the corner of my house and I started going for tans every now and again. The owner of the salon is great and always has homemade goodies at the waiting are for you to eat. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what you need just by looking at you. about a year ago my son purchased a facial and massage special they had for mothers day. I thought it was a little weird to get a massage there but I tried it.
Now, this is not a spa it is a tanning salon; however the massage and facial were absolutely great! I was so pleasantly surprised. It is not expensive, I think $ 60 for a full massage and they always run specials. I was so relaxed I could not stay awake/​the therapist is very knowledgable, looks at your skin and can tell how much water you drink and what problems you are having.
I would love to come back here and probably will very soon.

Having been dissatisfied with the homemade Versa solution at Goldensun in Hollywood, I came to Magic Tan in Pembroke Pines because they also have a Versa Spray Tan. The woman confirmed that they do use a solution provided by the makers of Versa (coincidentally named Magic Tan). So I went ahead and purchased a session.
This however, was no better than Goldensun because Magic Tan doesn’t offer color options (clear/​tinted, light, medium, dark). The woman at the counter didn’t really seem to know much about the Versa booth at all, she just said they always enter the same number for the same color. Just fyi, similar to setting the time on a UV bed, the Versa is set by numbers — 13,14,15, 23, 24, etc — that signify the color grade the user wants i.e. Medium Clear, Light Tinted, etc. She didn’t know if they could enter a different number, and she didn’t know anything about «Clear» vs. «Tinted».
So I took my chances, and went ahead with the tan.
The room for the versa is extremely cramped, there isn’t anywhere to hang up your clothes or set your things while you prep for the tan, and the room smelled HORRIBLE. Especially after the session was finished, the machine does an automatic wash cycle to clean the machine, and the water that was cleaning it smelled like rotten sewage water. I had to plug my nose!
And once again, like my Versa session at Goldensun, I didn’t get the desired results. And on top of that — I have a big problem with ill-​informed, or ignorant staff members. So I won’t be back to Magic Tan.
I am however, going to notify the makes of Versa, that there are 2 salons here in South Florida NOT representing their product very well!
