Best Boba tea I have had in Florida so far!
I always get the original with tapioca and the grass jelly. The tea is on par with my favorite bubble tea place in Georgia called «Quicklys». No complaints and I have been here several times with no disappoint.

Las perlas de tapioca son muy divertidas y tienen una textura perfecta. El lugar es limpio y muy visitado. Tienen una tarjeta de cliente frecuente que le permite una bebida gratis después de la compra de diez.

I have been there twice in the last two days… initially just with my 8 year old daughter –who proclaimed it her new favorite ice cream place in the whole world, and subsequently with four children in tow who all expressed the same sentiment. Today I even tried one of the shaved ices and thought it exceptional. .just the right texture with rich deep flavors bursting with flavor. Although the shaved ice cones only in one size (enormous) which easily it larger than the appetite of most children they provide extra containers if you wish to split. With the great product, generous portion sizes and very fair prices I have to give this 5 stars.

I was in town to visit my in laws from Atlanta for the holidays and my sister in law wanted boba tea from here. I didn’t think Ft Lauderdale had such a place. I was hooked. I came back every day for a week.
The passion fruit green tea, kiwi green tea and blueberry green tea were delicious. I got mine with tapioca pearls and boba pearls. Yum. The tapioca pearls were the perfect chewy texture too.
The staff is super friendly and you don’t have to wait very long no matter how busy they are. The place is always clean.

A snow ice shop that’s quenching every boba-drinker’s thirst in South Florida, Litchi is putting Asian treats on the map in Pines. The shop itself is Asian-​centric and colorful, and it’s a place where Asian college students can be found studying. After trying a multitude of authentic boba drinks in my lifetime, I can say that the boba at Litchi isn’t the most amazing, but it’s still good. If you’re walking in with a sweet tooth, the snow ices aren’t bad either. Having that said, it’s a store that I would visit again.

I finally got here! Litchi Snow Ice has been on my radar for a while. I have had Korean snow ice at a couple of other places and I was looking forward to trying this shop that not only sells snow ice but boba tea, yogurt drink, smoothies, and flavor tea. All items besides the snow ice are $ 4.50.
Ordering Snow Ice is easy. As far as I know there is one generous size and it costs $ 5.50. You then pick a flavor. There are currently twelve flavors, although I get the feeling flavors do change. When we went the flavors were: original, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango, cookies & cream, coffee, green tea, cake batter, cheese cake, taro, & litchi. You then can pick two toppings. There are too many topping to name but they include fresh fruit, various cookies & candies, and more Asian types of toppings like boba, red bean, and a plethora of jellies. The final step is to pick a «drizzle»: condensed milk, caramel, honey, or chocolate. Extra toppings or drizzle are $ 0.50.
I had original with pineapple and mango. I always like the light, just sweet enough taste of original. The fruit toppings were the perfect complement to this fresh treat. Although the flavor was spot on for this snow ice, I did feel the texture was a bit lacking for me. I found the texture to be a bit sticky and even icy in some places. It did not have that perfect cloud like texture that I have tasted with other snow ice.
I tasted Husband’s cake batter flavor which tasted very similar to the original, maybe a bit sweeter. 11 year old had cookies and cream snow ice and 12 year old had the same as a smoothie. Beware that cookies & cream is more like a chocolate flavor and is very sweet. I would recommend that if you are not sure of a flavor or a topping, then taste it. The owner are very nice and will provide generous samples of whatever you desire.
If Litchi Snow Ice was a bit closer I know we would be stopping by more often. So glad I can partake and share with my children so much of the cultural diversity that South Florida has to offer.

Good boba place I have found so far in south Florida. Recommended to people that like Asian soft drinks.

One of the saddest things about moving back home to South Florida is the scarcity of legit boba joints. I lived in Orlando for 4.5 years during my college days and their strong Vietnamese community provides the central FL area with plenty of boba, phở, banh mi joints etc etc. At the end of a long day of studying, post-​dance practice, or basketball we’d always have a few go-​to spots to Boba and Chill (see what I did there lol). So let’s just say I’ve had my share of all varieties of boba.
A few people offered some suggestions and Litchi has been the most appealing and satiating. I’m a sucker for Taro and theirs is pretty good, my preference though was their Strawberry-​Banana smoothie. A big knock that I’ll hold is their teas and smoothies are a little over the top in terms of sweetness. I have always been one to relish the actual flavor tea instead of succumbing to a fruity drink with a spoonfuls of a sugar. But hey that’s just me. At the end of the day, their flavors are are great vs. some of the other boba places I’ve visited in the South Florida community. Staff is pretty accommodating and friendly. It also helps that I don’t have to drive all the way out East to get my fill lol. I’ll be sure to explore some of their other choices in the future.

Obsessed in an understatement. My BF and I have become addicted to our weekly visits to get our boba smoothies. It’s a perfect sweet treat that’s light and refreshing with the chewy goodness of the Tapioca balls. I love the stamp system that allows you to get your 10^th treat free! Great and fast service. Highly recommended for a different take on dessert :) I just picked up my 5^th this week… maybe I’m biased ;)

This was my first time going here and I got the honeydew tea with tapioca. Usually when I get it at other boba places, it’s light green and has a milkshake-​like consistency. This was more like a Thai chai tea with honeydew flavoring, which I wasn’t expecting at all so I’m rating it based on what I’m used to and expected. The service was great and I love that they have a rewards card that allows you to get your 10^th tea or litchi ice free; that will definitely have me going back. Next time I’ll get the litchi ice because I’ve heard great things. Don’t let my review deter you!

I learned about this place because my lovely friend and fellow Elite, Farrah S., had it bookmarked. I had never tried snow ice and she said it had a unique texture that was difficult to explain that i had to «just try it». So, I did.
Thank you, Farrah! I love Snow Ice! Mind you, I am not an «ice cream person». I do not frequent Menchies ‘nor do I sit at home in front of the TV downing a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. I simply just never crave or desire ice cream but, this little desert had me return the SAME AFTERNOON for more! Like, who am I?
You have the option of choosing a flavor of snow ice with 2 toppings and a «drizzle» of sauce. I went with the mango snow ice (my typical flavor of choice), topped with sliced strawberries and brownie bites. It was such a ribbony and fluffy texture, however, once it melts in your mouth, it very much tastes like good ‘ol ice cream. I opted out of having any drizzle and the three made a delicious combination!
I will be going back, thats for sure!

If you want milk tea, please go here. If you miss the Brickell Chatime the way I yearn for delicious Taiwanese milk tea with authentic Taiwan-​style pudding, just get in your car and drive here! Or bike. Or walk. Crawl, if you must lol! Because I am soooo happy there is good milk tea within a reasonable driving distance! (The little Taiwan girl in me is so happy right now. :D)
First time here today, and I can’t speak of the snow ice (yet), but holy hooray for their original style tapioca tea.
Something in me died a little when Chatime nixed their contract with the franchise and became Potionz. It had been the only boba (bubble/​milk tea) spot I had known of that had GOOD milk tea.
But alas! :D Friends have made me aware of Litchi! And I’m so excited at how happy my tastebuds are with it.
So, try their original milk tea. If you aren’t a fan of bubbles/​tapioca pearls (like me), go the egg pudding route! Love. This is authentic Taiwan-​style milk tea. :)

Based our check-​ins, you can tell my honey Andy and I find this to be our go-​to boba spot! And I give him credit because he commutes all the way from Miami and whenever either of us crave boba/​bubble tea or snow, we come to Litchi with no hesitation. We’ve been coming here since its early start, and you can tell that by now we’re regulars when Andy and I come separately and the staff asks where’s the other half. Staff here are really friendly and accommodating. They truly help you out in your order and give you their honest opinions on what goes well with what. They’re also generous with the toppings/​fixings too.
The snow is SUPER SOFT, rich, and sweet! I’ve tried other snows in which the flavors are subtle, I’m practically eating soft ice and I had to depend on the the toppings. The snow here are good independently, as if you’re eating ice cream, but they’re even better topped with your preferred fixings. I’ve had flavors, though, that are too sweet, and the toppings make it a sugar overload.
When I’m not craving snow, I go for their boba drinks, the smoothie type in particular. My favorite combo so far: avocado smoothie with boba, grass jelly, and egg pudding. SUPER DELICIOUS! So creamy, and this particular combo is pretty filling. I think it’s safe to say that Andy enjoys this combo as well, and I do suggest you try it too! My next favorite is mango with the same fixings. I think their milk teas are okay; they’re a little too sweet for my taste, but could just be the flavor I ordered, which I don’t remember at the top of my head. I’m still willing to try every single item on the menu at least once. I also do want to note that the boba (tapioca pearls) here have awesome consistency — not too hard and not to soft, but just right. Top quality.
They offer punch cards so you could redeem a free snow/​boba after your 10^th punch. Also, another perk is that they added wifi! This place is a good study spot. Or meeting spot. Or crafting spot (my honey and I once crafted some Christmas presents here).

This place is amazing.
If you love boba tea, this is the spot for you. The interior inside is clean and the bright paint on the walls makes the store look fun and look more spacious. All their flavors are great. Personally I go for the green tea bobas because I find them more refreshing. You can replace the traditional boba tapioca with lychee, passion fruit jelly, or mango jelly which is a great alternative. Also if you don’t like your drinks too sweet you can ask no sugar added, or 20% or 30% sugar only. My favorite one is the kiwi green tea or kiwi mixed with passion fruit or mango! I also tried the snow ice-​cream once and loved it as well.

Great tapioca tea! I am thrilled to have this gem in Pines. I recently returned from an epic trip to Thailand, where my husband and I drank Thai iced tea daily, and I knew we were going to have serious cravings for authentic thai iced tea at home. I stumbled upon this cute gem after a Publix run (which is conveniently next door) and was thrilled to have my craving satisfied!
I plan to be a repeat customer, work through their tapicoa tea menu, and get my card punched =).

I am so beyond happy to have found Asian style snow ice. It’s all about the texture. This is pretty common up north but to find it in south Florida! I’m a happy person. You would think in a hot climate like south Florida, snow ice would be more popular. I wish it was closer to me but its totally worth the drive.
I had the green tea ice with sweet red beans and mochi drizzled with condensed milk.
I also tried the strawberry ice with kiwi and mango and cake batter ice with mochi, marshmallows and caramel. So good!

Found this place through one of my close friends (and super awesome fellow Unilocaler) Chantelle and walked in hours after she had texted me about it. Now if you couldn’t tell by my many check ins here, this place is well worth it to drop by. I mean, if you don’t visit the west coast as often, you will very well know the struggle to find shaved snow (Binggo is gone now), let alone a boba place here in soflo. Yes, they are that scarce!
I remember when my honey KC and I first walked in here they were only two weeks in since opening and up until now, they have been adding lots to their menu ever since. For example they had taro as boba and snow within the first few weeks and now they are running with grass jelly and a variety of hot teas. They even had a couple promotions during the weekend for free snow! How cool is that? The owners are super sweet and extremely flexible & helpful with the selections, especially if you’re new to boba or snow scene (no it’s not shaved ice, icees).
I particularly enjoy their green tea and taro snow with condensed milk and graham cracker dust on top, may be a fruit or two as well. Hey I may be simple but I know what I like! It’s true that the consistency is the star to any successful shaved snow and by experience I’d say that this snow is lighter in terms of creaminess.
Whenever it comes to the boba tea my go-​to is honey dew. And if you’re not a tapioca fan, try out their grass jelly for a neutral taste or lychee jelly if you have a sweet tooth.
Grass jelly also pairs wonderfully with their casual teas, apart from the sweet milk teas.
Oh and don’t forget to punch in your card when ever you order!

I never make it to Pembrook Pines, so when I was there to do some shopping and dinner Friday evening, despite being full, I knew it may be one of my only chances to visit Litchi Snow Ice without making a special drive.
We arrived around 9pm on a Friday evening and the store was empty and we approached the register. The cashier was helpful explaining our options, and although they offer bubble tea, we were there for the snow ice. Ordering you get to pick a flavor of snow ice, two toppings, and a drizzle. I opted for the taro snow ice with red bean, coconut, and condensed milk drizzle. My brother picked mango with strawberry boba and fresh mango with the condensed milk drizzle. The two snow ices cam to ~$ 11 and we received a punch card. Once you 10 you get one free.
The texture of the snow ice is AMAZING. It reminds me of eating snow when I was a kid… the good kind of snow, not the heavy wet icy kind. It’s fluffy and sweet and definitely a unique dessert. Snow ice is nothing like a snow cone. As far as the flavors go I loved the taro, but I have to admit I liked my brothers overall combo better. When I saw red bean I assumed it was a sweet red bean paste like at Chinese buffers, but this was actual red beans. They texture of the beans was just a little too heavy for the delicate snow ice, but I’m glad I tried it. My brother’s mango boba concoction was perfect so I may stick with lighter fruity toppings next time. They also offer flavors like cake batter and candy toppings, so you can make something more similar to what you would get at an ice cream shop with snow ice.
I will definitely be back next time I’m in Pembrook Pines, and I am anxious to try the bubble tea as well.

Put this place on your bucket list! Without a doubt this snow ice will amaze you and have you dreaming about coming back for more. We ordered the mango snow ice. It was surprisingly mild flavored yet very pleasing and creamy. We added the mango and mochi for toppings. Then we went with sweetened condensed milk as a drizzle and wow what a concoction! It was like eating layers of creamy snow with the incredible flavors of the toppings bursting through.
This place is really clean and modern. They have cozy booths to sit in and enjoy your cold treat. It is conveniently located just doors down from Publix. The owner is friendly and helps to explain the options that are on the menu as well as large signs located on the wall.
You are going to love this place and the unique options that they offer. Did I forget to tell you that they are open until 11:00pm on the weekends?

I absolutely love the ethnic culinary diversity that is infiltrating south Florida!
Ever since I was first introduced to Korean shaved ice by way of the Binggso food truck, I’ve been obsessed with the Asian version of shaved ice. Unfortunately the couple that owned Binggso were expecting a child and closed up shop.
Since then, my unfulfilled craving for Korean shaved ice has consumed my soul.
Until thankfully my Unilocal friend Krys P. discovered the 3 week old newly minted Litchi Snow Ice located in west Pembroke Pines. Litchi Snow Ice not only offers Taiwanese shaved ice, but boba teas, smoothies and yogurt drinks!
As Krys P. described, Litchi is Taiwanese snow ice known as Baobing or Tsa-​bing in the Chinese language, it is made into thin layers and is ribbony in appearance.
Ordering is pretty simple, You choose a flavor, then pick two toppings, then select a drizzle.($.50 for extra toppings or drizzles)
I chose the strawberry flavor with strawberry & pineapple toppings and the honey drizzle.
OMG this stuff is delicious! The ice itself has the appearance of a ball of yarn and the texture was kind of velvety. Every spoonful was a colonial explosion of fruity flavors that melted in my mouth.

OMG! A shaved snow and bubble tea shop finally opened in S. Florida! Snow ice (aka shaved snow, ribbon ice) is different from your regular shaved ice, it’s more akin to a frozen block of ice cream shaved into curly ribbons like vegetable peels or pencil shaving. At Litchi, the snow ice is made Taiwanese style, ribbony in layers, creamy and slightly chewy in texture; it’s different from Binggo and Bistro Bul Go Gi, which are fluffy and powdery in the style of Korean bingsoo.
Also they have more flavors and toppings to choose from. For around $ 5.50 (a very reasonable price) you get choice of the snow base (milk, green tea, mango, etc) with two toppings (fruits, nuts, red bean, mochi, etc) and a drizzle (condensed milk, chocolate, mango purée, caramel etc.)
The Chinese owner couple, new arrivals to South Florida, is very nice, with a warm and gentle smile. They opened the shop about three weeks ago. When they learned that I was from Hong Kong, they put on some Leslie Cheung’s music for me. Happy coincidence, he was my #1 idol growing up! Eating the delicious snow and listening to my favorite love songs, I almost shed tears of joy!
