Had the lamb burger. Thumps up. Good place. Didn’t take long to get food and good service.

Has lots of potential… We went at night, when it was maybe ½ full, and had very weirdly frantic/confused server, who got lots of things we ordered screwed up, but he was very nice. The fried pickles were super, and the burgers were very good. My biggest complaint is the horrible lighting. it should be much warmer and not downward track lights. Felt like we were in a basement or something, even though the space is very nice. There should be hanging pendant lights or something more charming/intimate. We will def try again… see if things inmprove.

Beware this place can get crowded and the noise level can be very high. Kids on Friday night with their folks adds to the atmosphere. Burger was ordered medium came out very well done, no flavor and dry. Wings were just ok, meaty for the most part sauce was good. Fries need work. None were crisp, mostly just cooked. Waitress kept coming by to push another beer before the first was consumed. One the whole an average place with average food and average service.

Service is absolutely awful. Unfriendly wait staff. Made us wait over an hour for our food. Forgot our drink orders. The co «owner» behind the bar is nasty, impatient & rude. The food is nothing above average. Don’t know who would give this place a good review because it’s a tragedy.

Go in hungry and leave licking your lips. Great mouth watering burger selection. Plus an awesome tuna burger. Terrific craft beers. Pelham now has a first rate burger spot. While a tad pricier than a 5 guys or a Smash burger, the difference in quality make it so worth it.

I really am not sure who is writing the reviews on this place and giving them anything above two stars. I came across this place on Unilocal and decided to try it. I came in the first time with my gf. We ordered the Mac and cheese to start before our burgers. The Mac and cheese was so overpowering in taste that I felt like I was chewing on dirty socks. The smell alone was enough to make me throw up. I had to stop eating it after two bites. Same with my gf. Our waitress, some cute little old lady(or so we thought) was one of the worst waitress’ I’ve ever had. In the whole hour we were there, not ONCE has she checked on us to ask for things are going or why we didn’t eat our Mac and cheese when we said we didn’t want to pack it.(We got charged for it and didn’t even touch it) We ordered COKE and a SPRITE. that tasted absolutely nothing like the real thing. When asked why, then she decides to tell us it’s not real soda and its soda from a local brewing place in ct or whatever.(You could’ve told us this before we ordered it) we were charged for that as well. We didn’t even drink it lol. The burgers came out. My gf created her own. I had one that was on their special card things and oh my god. It was terrible. I took three bites and couldn’t anymore. There was so much lack of flavor and whatever sauce they put on was enough to send me running out the door. About 50 $ and a tip later, we both left hungry and extremely upset. I expressed my anger to the host about our sever and what was done and I really really hope they told the manager who was standing in the back. I was so furious about the bill and quality of the food and the waitress, I just wanted to get the hell out. We came back again for the second time. I wanted to give prime 16 the benefit of the doubt and try it again. We had a male waiter this time. Although the he was better than the elderly lady, he wasn’t much of a help either. This time we just ordered burgers. I decided to go with the original one. Like how can you mess up your signature burger??? I WASWRONG. We both were. The burgers tasted even worse this time. No flavor what so ever. Then we complained and he told Us they don’t season the burgers??? Lol wait. What? I literally started to laugh in the establishment and said I’m not eating this. Because really it was horrible!!! The customers sitting behind us with their two children weren’t making things better with their screaming and jumping around on the chairs and booths. I come out to enjoy good service and food. Not to have tasteless burgers and rowdy screaming children 3ft away from me. I WILLNEVERBERETURNINGTOTHISPLACE! Biggest waste of money ever. Go eat at McDonald’s instead. You know what you’re getting there and will be more satisfied.

Tasty. The smokehouse was great but ahi tuna even better. Tequila lime vinaigrette dressing extra yummy.

I have previously ordered wings and they were good. Today was the first time I went because I was really looking forward to trying there burgers based on their description on the menu. How does a place with the name Prime in it, whose burgers make up 40% or the menu sell burgers that clearly are frozen patties. I ordered the cowboy and it was bland. I will not be going to this place for burgers.

This place is amazing! The food is wonderful and is served piping hot! The Parmesan Truffle Fries are the best!!! The selection of burgers is sure to please everyone. Dave is the friendliest person there! He welcomes you with a warm smile and has a vast knowledge of all the craft beers they sell. Prime 16 is a fantastic place for gathering with friends and family! Go and enjoy simplicity at it’s best!

«In the land of blind men, the one eyed man is king» would aptly describe the restaurant Prime 16 in beautiful downtown Pelham. P16 is now a bustling destination for families with small and boisterous children, which pairs perfectly with the restaurants insanely bad acoustics. Our second visit tonight confirmed that this place is average at best. The burgers were smaller this time — overwhelmed by the bun. The fries were so salty that they rolled through my fingers, the grains of salt like ball bearings. The«wait staff» is poorly trained and apathetic. If it weren’t for the manager intervening at times, our meal would have been a disaster. If we are ever to patronize this place again, we would order in for take-away. Although there’s always the risk of arriving home with heart-stopping salt caked all over our not-inexpensive food.

Recommend coming early, especially if you have a big group, since it got busy really fast. The new owners did a lot of work on the place and it looks good. They did a nice job with the bar. Ordered the wings and onion rings, which were good. If you are checking out the Happy Hour, the wing special is at the bar and not at the table. Ordered a few of the burgers and thought they were all ok.

Pretty good burger joint. Pelham suffers from a dearth of good restaurants since it lost the Indian restaurant Rangoli(now known as Coriander in Larchmont). But we live in hope, and this place opened recently, so we decided to give it a try last night. The burgers — served on brioche buns — were good. I’m not a beer drinker, but my wife appreciated the wide selection. They have a full bar. The parmesan truffle fries were worth it; the onion rings are not(too bready, and that’s coming from a guy who’s not especially troubled by bready onion rings). There were few people there at 9:00 on a Saturday(not sure what to make of that…); on the plus side, it ensured that service was not only friendly but quick. I preferred the burgers and the ambience at Prime 16 to either of the other nearby burger joints — Smashburger and Five Guys. I’d go there again. You should try it.

Went here on a football Sunday, it was not crowded at all. The place is a boutique style craft burger bar. The Maroon background gives a unique look to the place, and it is a bit on the small side. Dave the bartender is very knowledgeable when it comes to craft beers and as he should. Prime 16 boasts an outstanding array of craft beers to satisfy any craft beer enthusiast. I had the Sloop Brewing Table Farm Saison, Dave indicated this beer was a limited local beer as it was part of the Hudson Valley craft beer week. The beer was outstanding as it was fresh, you can tell the tap lines are cleaned out on the reg. I also ordered there all American burger which was ok, but what really blew me away were their Cajun Tater tots, they were ridiculously good with the side of mustard went great with the burger and beer. Overall a great experience!

Went during happy hour on a Tuesday. Never really heard of this place before, we more or less stumbled upon it.(Which are usually the best finds) Could not be more satisfied with the selection they offer on beer & bar foods. Their wings are, and I rarely throw this word around so loosely, PERFECT! They have a few unique burgers on the menu. Ordered a cowboy burger MEDIUM. and guess how it came out? Medium! I know… I was shocked too. A lot of places pointlessly ask how you’d like your burger cooked and make it well done anyway. 10⁄10 will be coming back here. …Oh! Can’t forget the server. She was great. Super attentive but not overwhelming.

3 ½ stars is what it was for us really. We went during happy hour– on a slow Tuesday in Pelham. Upon entering– you notice instantly how small the establishment is. It doesn’t seem to seat much(unless I didn’t catch some back area to the joint) and so I’m not surprised of the warnings to go here on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and the hostess was very nice and professional. We were offered menus– told about the happy hour specials– and were pointed to their signature burgers. We ordered a couple of IPAs off the half off happy hour and took advantage of their half off a dozen wings deal. 50 cents per wing(and these are of the ‘roided up chicken wing variety) was an exceptional deal. The only thing was that we weren’t necessarily big fans of the flavor. We ordered something along the likes of a BBQ Bourbon. It was decent– but there was an undertone of celery salt or maybe even Old Bay seasoning that I just didn’t think went with it– although celery salt is commonly used for BBQ rubs– it was a bit off-putting in this instance. We then ordered the Maui Burger with a side salad and a Seared Tuna Burger with a side of their Celery Cole Slaw. Don’t get the celery coleslaw if you ordered the Tuna Burger. They add the celery coleslaw in the tuna burger itself and thus ordering a side of the coleslaw becomes mundane. The Maui Burger has bacon and I think pineapple– it was done nicely. We thought our burgers were good but it didn’t offer anything special compared to other burger establishments. I was able to speak with the bartender manning the drinks– very nice guy who is well versed in beer knowledge. If you’re into beer– you’ll have a good time picking his brain– he truly knows a lot about the topic and shares his passion for beer with you if you ask. Overall– good experience but just not blown away by the food. If we come back-it’ll surely be to take advantage of the beer deals during happy hour and maybe ordering wings(just another flavor)

About a month in from opening its doors, the best anyone can vote is whether or not this place shows promise or if it’s doomed for colossal failure. I’m voting for«definitely shows promise.» We arrived at 7pm, which good because that meant the proper dinner crowd hadn’t showed up yet so we were seated immediately, but was also bad because I’d just missed the happy hour specials. Our server a bit of a space cadet, but maybe it wasn’t entirely her fault? The joint was manned by a manager, another hostess, ONLYTWOSERVERS for the entire restaurant, and one bartender. That meant when it was proper dinner seating and the restaurant was full, service went a bit nuts. The manager had to step in to take orders and serve as well. But enough about the service — maybe this will pick up. As expected, the beer variety was large and different. My only gripe was that you couldn’t tell if you were going to get a pint of beer or if you were going to get just a small amount in teensy stemware. I had three beers over dinner and only one of them was a pint. They can do better to help the customer be informed of what type of they’d be served and in what glass size. The burgers themselves were pretty decent. I ordered mine with a sunny side up egg on it, and the egg was perfect. A small pierce, and the runny yolk… runneth over. Good variety of burgers overall — we had a table of four, with four different burgers ordered, and each one was quite good. Like I said, I think this place holds promise, and I sure as heck hope they do work on getting better. Because who doesn’t want to see a beer and burger joint do well!

4 stars for a superb burger! Sizeable juicy and perfectly cooked — 4 stars for beer list That was inventive and full of variety — had the last one on the list can’t remember the name but it was not too hoppy mild and tasty with the burger. 4 stars for the Parmesan truffle fries — hand cut and seasoned really well. Sure the place is new and has some kinks — the candied bacon app is really just bacon and not terribly good bacon and the tater tots were bland and less than tasty but it was fun and crowded and lively and aiming to please — we will be back!

I came here for a 6:30 dinner with my husband and son. The place was already packed, but we were offered a seat at a two top which worked well. We were given menus and drinks right away, but aside from that, service was not so great. Unfortunately they are very slow. The wait for our food was about 30 minutes. They also brought us another table’s orders at one point. Our server seemed a bit flustered through the service and did not offer to refill our drinks at all. The food was pretty good though(with one exception). We ordered the fried pickles, NY Steakhouse burger, grilled cheese, and the kids’ tenders. The burger was cooked perfectly to temperature, and my grilled cheese and crispy sweet potato fries were delicious. My husband’s tater tots were crispy, but really over seasoned – inedible, unfortunately. The kids meal was par for the course. For dessert, we had the French toast bread pudding and the apple crisp. Both were great, and served warm. I’m hoping the service will improve. They have a very nice beer selection, and an affordable menu. Overall, a welcome addition to the Pelham strip.

Really wanted to love this place. And I think there is still is a lot of potential. But they need some improvements. Took 15 mins to get our drinks but the redeemed with only 25 mins to get food. The ambiance is cool, loud and dark just like I like it. Pros: great beers and beer selection. Food was pretty good. Cons: slow service. Small wine sizes. Cheers.

Open for just three days, we came for dinner and were told it would be a 40-minute wait! The place was packed! I asked the hostess if we could order food at the bar and luckily there were two seats together. We waited, waited, and waited for someone to give us a menu. We were able to order quickly and our drinks got to us fast. The food was another matter entirely!(Over 45 minutes to get our appetizers, and an additional 15 minutes for one burger!) We got Candied Bacon, Onion Rings, Parmesan Truffle Fries, and The Smoker burger. There were three strips of Candied Bacon, very sweet and chewy. The Onion Rings come with three delicious sauces — the mustard is particularly hearty. The truffle fries were tasty but the bottom fries had noticeably less parm and truffle flavor than those on top! The Smoker burger was huge! It was perfectly cooked, very juicy! The burger came with fries that were the most ordinary item of the entire meal. The space looks cool and modern. The staff looked pretty harried but I finally saw some smiles after the dining room emptied out a bit. The manager comped us a beer for our wait. There was a big variety of beers on tap, lots to try. I can’t wait to come back to taste the rest of the menu as there are even has some great sounding vegetarian options.
