Dad’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning specializes in the expert care and service for all flooring textiles including carpet, tile and grout, natural stone and hardwood floors.

Our certified technicians have the training and education to properly clean and care for all upholstered fabrics as well.

Our facility in Pelham is set up to handle any type of rug cleaning need. On a regular basis we clean everything from antique hand knotted wool rugs to synthetic machine woven rugs. Because of our training, education and experience we are often sought after to handle the toughest cleaning challenges.

History

Established in 1995.

Dave Pastor, the owner, grew up working for his dad’s carpet store up in New Jersey (thus the name). After moving south to go to school and then moving to Birmingham to help with a church planting, Dave started Dad’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning.

As a small business start up company in an unfamiliar city, it was challenging at first. «I used to give my services away, just so people would try me. And that is really how Dad’s got started here». Well now Birmingham residents have come to love the service and results they get when they call Dad’s.

The business has grown from a one man, a cleaning van and a cell phone, to an office staff, 4 trucks and a full rug cleaning facility in Pelham.

Dave Pastor, the owner, grew up working for his dad’s carpet store in NJ. He is currently the managing owner of the business.

Mike Leonard has been with DAD’S for almost 8 years and holds several certifications.

Mike Palmer has been with DAD’S for almost 7 years and holds several certifications.

Chad Franks has been with DAD’S for almost 3 years and is certified in Carpet and Upholstery cleaning.

James Haselden has been with DAD’S for almost 1 year and is certified in carpet cleaning. Daily we receive calls about how wonderful the service experience was from our technicians.

Our amazing CSRs include Mel, Ebonie and Randi. When you call Dad’s you will be talking to the greatest and most helpful people on the planet.
