Benny’s Pizza

Was visiting family in Pelham and decided to try Bennys (although my cousin insisted it was Fifth Avenue… The menu says Benny’s!!). Used the online site from their menus and it was much easier than the other sites we’ve used in the past… and delivery was faster too! My cousin swears by «Benny’s» and I can see why — The Philly Cheesesteak pizza was amazing. And we had an eggplant parmigiana calzone that was so good I purposely took half home for lunch the next day!

If you like crispy thin crust pizza this is how they do it. I prefer pizza that doesn’t use excessive cheese and here at Fifth ave, (although the sign says Benny’s Pizza) they balance cheese and sauce. Out of the three pizza places on Fifth ave this is our favorite so far.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Got an 18″ pepperoni pizza and garlic bread. While the garlic bread wasn’t anything to write home about, it was still very good, and most important — garlicky.
The pizza was very good. Crust was not doughy, but wasn’t burnt either. Not too thick either. I asked them to brown the pizza a bit, which they did. Great to finally find a place that knows what that means. And best of all — you can actually pick up a slice without it being all floppy and half the cheese/​toppings fall off! This is my new pizza place of choice. Good pizza, great price, and I’ll order from them going forward.

Unbelievable! The pizza is easily the best in town – plus they deliver! Highly recommended. I ordered a pie for kids I babysit, and they ate all of it. No complaints either! The staff was very friendly as well.

I found Fifth Avenue Pizza thru GrubHub and boy am I glad I did.
The orders are delivered promptly
The orders are CORRECT, never had a problem.
There garlic knots are the best.
The prices are fair.

The pizza’s pretty good but the last time I ate there the guy licked his finger when he counted out my change.
Money’s got enough bacteria on it without adding someone’s spit. And since this is the same guy who had just handled my food…
Won’t be going back.

Eggplant parm awful. A mushy mess with the peel left on so it was bitter as all get out. Asked for blue cheese dressing, they didn’t give it to me and I didn’t figure it out till I was home. 1 tiny container of dressing for a large salad that was out of a bottle. Spaghetti just gross. Huge waste of money.

If you like over cook pizza, then this is the place for you. Order 2 times each time told then not to over cook it, each time it was over cooked. Also called in a order to pickup the the order was not ready and wrong.

My boyfriend & I saw that they deliver to our area through GrubHub. Their menu is not that big but they have a couple of really good choices. We ordered the a calzone, wings & the fried Oreos. Everything was great & better then I expected. We now order from them all the time & we’ve never gotten anything we don’t like. Also its great that we can order online :)

Pizza is above average but not better than marcellos or Pelham.

this place has good pizza — thin crust and good variety — but the service is where it needs to improve. i think the delivery and online ordering is good but ordering by phone is a challenge. haven’t meet AJ yet but if he can fix that than i’d say there better than their local competitors. until then, i go back and forth on who i like better.

We decided to try this pizzeria as it is near to where we live. WOW, what a find! We are regular customers now. Great variety of options and ALWAYS delicious. Try the Nutella zeppoles for dessert, yummy… The owner AJ is always so nice and makes you feel welcome and special. This is a real friendly neighborhood place.

First off I don’t make reviews on here very often but this place I feel I need to do so after there horrible attempt at customer service! I’ve now ordered on two separate occasions the chicken bacon ranch pie and both times I requested with tomatoe sauce. First time I get no sauce and i call them to inform them and get only an apology. Not really expecting much more but probably should’ve been. So I say what the hell lets try again cause I actually liked their pizza. This time I order delivery. Well the delivery literally took 1 hour and 45 minutes to show up at my door. I’m only 10 mins away max. I get they have to cook and they have other orders. This time I repeated my order several times, emphasizing the sauce on my chicken bacon ranch and how does it come… It has a couple drops of sauce on top of the cheese on an already cooked pizza. I’ve gotten the chicken bacon ranch slice before at the store and they put the sauce on and under the cheese like a normal pizza. I definitely don’t recommend this place if your looking to get your order right…
