Updone

I purchased a canvas for a family member. I choose to assemble it myself. The 2 length pieces were incorrect (one was 20″ and one was 21″). Long story short, it took 3 phone calls and 6 weeks to get the problem corrected. To say that customer service is lacking is actually an understatement!

I ordered once from Updone, they did an okay job then I tried them again for a freebie I offered a client, the canvas came damaged and I emailed them the pictures of the damage 3 times and had been told that the replacement was on its way, that started in early November, I was supposed to have this to my client by Christmas and just now got a shipping confirmation today December 23, do you think it will make it from AZ to OH by Christmas?
POOR customer service, no follow through, it may be okay for someone who does not care about their money but I do and this is totally unacceptable business protocol.

Terrible quality. The colors were off and the ends were not finished professionally (quickly came unwrapped). This is not a company I would use again. It was cheap thou, so I got what I paid for.

First off, I’m going to start by saying this is probably not the solution for professional photographers. Something as a gift for family/​friend or some casual art work you would like for your home — then yes, totally.
Pros:
— Extremely extremely affordable. i paid about $ 10 for a 9×6 canvas gallery wrapped. That would have easily cost me $ 70 in a professional studio somewhere. the way they keep their costs down is by outsourcing to China. My canvas came direct from Nanjing, China.
— The quality of the print is sufficient for me. I am not a canvas snob by any means but the quality what was I expected.
— The workmanship on the mounting and wrapping was decent.
— i would choose the «pre-​assembled» option because I felt that they did a decent job in mounting it. I doubt I could’ve done a better job.
— Needless to say the price/​performance ratio is excellent.
— Fast delivery. The entire job took one week to complete including printing, mounting and shipping. It was shipped via Fed Ex Next day.
— Customer service was fairly helpful.
Cons:
— Canvas is not laminated so don’t let any water near it!
— no customer service number, only chat option
— no e-​mail notifications for updates, you have to go on to the website to check your status updates
