We offer personalized Pilates lessons on all pilates equipment. Our trainers are experienced in creating programs including Pilates for Orthopedic Post-​Rehabilitation, Back Care (Scoliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc;)Foot Problems (Plantar Fasciitis, Fallen Arches, etc;) Prenatal care and more!

Owner Marilyn Miller also specializes in dance conditioning and evaluation, particularly pre-​injury assessment, muscle strength assessments and point shoe evaluations.

All of our instructors have over 10 years of teaching experience following decades of dancing professionally. whether you are looking to continue rehabbing an injury, looking to strengthen and tone, wanting to get out of pain, or needing specialized care, our instructors are there for you.

History

Established in 2003.

Located in the old Fleishmann’s Distillery building in Charles Point, Peekskill NY. Pilates On Hudson’s owner Marilyn K. Miller (PMA Certified Instructor, STOTT Pilates Certified equipment trainer, ACE Certified Personal trainer) brings her experience in sports conditioning and rehabilitation from her career as a professional ballet dancer.

Business Owner

After a successful career as a professional ballet dancer in San Francisco, Marilyn decided to put her first hand knowledge of how the body works, specifically in response to injuries to use. First getting certified as an American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer, then as a fully certified Stott Pilates Equipment Trainer, and PMA Certified Instructor, Marilyn works with clients of all ages and backgrounds to help get them back in shape. Recently she has expanded her studio to include other trainers with very similar backgrounds and has gained endorsement from Dr. Jordan Metzl, Top Sports/​Dance Medicine Physician at Hospital for Special Surgery and Dr. Louis Bisogni, Chiropractor to the New York Yankees.
