We are an event planning service which specializes in creating chocolate sensations for children and adults. Book us for your private in-​home party or corporate event.

Children and teens get to decorate various cookies and treats including painting molded chocolate pieces with edible luster coloring.

Grown ups will be learning how to make luscious desserts that party giver chooses 2 out of four dessert choices, e.g. marshmallow treats, mousse, brownies, and chocolate truffle cookies, and enjoying them with his/​her party guests. All guests get to go home with their own delectable chocolate sensations made with rich, decadent European chocolate.



Events are for corporations as well as individuals. Orders will be coordinated differently and be priced accordingly to meet the needs of corporate clients.

History

Established in 2013.

Lisa’s House of Sweets started in the mid 1990’s where chocolatier Lisa Graubart began manufacturing mini chocolate truffle pies and selling to local patrons in Queens. Eventually, she added a mousse line where various flavors of chocolate mousse were created to tantalize everyone’s palate. Then, Lisa came up with the idea to do chocolate parties in people’s homes. At that point, Lisa’s House of Sweets, Inc was transformed into a party planning business to address the needs of consumers in the NYC area, Westchester and Nassau counties. Lisa’s House of Sweets does corporate events as well. We’ll come to your business and offer unique party experience for your employees as well.

Business Owner

Lisa Graubart studied at Peter Kumps Cooking School (known as ICE-​Institute for Culinary Education now) where she learned various cooking techniques and techniques for chocolate making. She studied privately under a renowned chocolatier Vivian Blotter from Confections by Viv in Pennsylvania; and completed online training with Ecole Chocolat. With all this training, Lisa Graubart was able to create her own recipes and offer unique ways to have marshmallow, chocolate truffle, and chocolate mousse.
