Specialties
Named for comic legend Jackie Gleason, Peekskill’s most famous transplant, this new venture from the team behind The Birdsall House promises a menu of flatbread pizzas made with locally sourced produce and house-smoked Hemlock Hill Farm meats. With eight rotating taps of craft beer, cocktails shaken with house-made bitters, and an extensive Scotch and bourbon list.
History
Established in 2012.
Formerly the Peekskill Staple Millers, owners John Sharp and Tim Reinke have made an effort to keep this location a Peekskill mainstay. With parts of the original bar intact, and art from local artists we now pay homage to Peekskill local history. Plus, it’s the best pizza in town.
