had to update after we returned again this year for out son’s 13^th birthday. We stayed in a gorgeous room with a king bed, and Paul and Thuy moved a table to put a rollway twin bed for our son which he was very comfortable on. We had our own small bathroom, stocked with everything you could ever need and our own porch so we could even come and go without going through the rest of the house. Once again, our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. when I asked my son if he wanted to stay there again this year, he said «of course» whick is a pretty good review for a 13 year old boy to stay in someone elses home. The location is perfect for enjoying anything in the monterey area, and you won’t likely ever top the hospitality you will find here. I’d better make a reservation for next year now before more people discover this gem! And Thuy sent me home again with some more of her gorgeous succulents. I’ll have to send her my picture of my «succulent tower» I built for the front porch.

We have been home for two days and all I can think about is going back. Paul and Thuy are two of the sweetest people you could ever want to meet. I don’t think anyone could think of one little thing that Thuy hasn’t already thought of. Wonderful breakfast made to order. Homemaid pumkin pie with fresh whipped cream. When you leave you feel as though you have been visiting dear friends and you are sad to go.

What a magnificant home-​away-​from-​home! We did not want to leave! We were more than pleasantly pleased with our stay at Paul and Thuy’s.
You will not find another bed and breakfast, or even a hotel for this amazing price! A perfect location right in the middle of aeverything you want to see in the Monterey Bay area. Plus, you get to stay right on the 17 mile drive and not pay an entrance fee.
Our accomodations were definately 5-​Star. By far the most comfortable we have ever slept in with down comforter and pillows and memory foam mattress, a large Flat screen TV and our own stocked refrigerator and microwave. Their wonderfully appointed kitchen was also available to us any time we wanted to cook.
Never have we had such great hospitality on any vacation… Paul and Thuy fed us a feast every morning, anything we wanted… loved the time just sitting and getting to know them… we truly felt like guests in their home, yet had as much privacy as we wanted. Paul was even available by cell phone when we got lost trying to find our way around the bay :)
We will stay here again and again… just loved it! Thanks again Paul and Thuy… hope this brings you more business! Blessings always,

I have nothing but positive things to say about Thuy and Paul’s wonderful home and hospitality. My husband and I stayed here for one night on Memorial Day weekend and we had an incredibly nice time and cannot wait to return.
The house is located in Pebble Beach and you get free entry into 17 mile drive which is nice. The entire downstairs of the house is for guests and has a living room, dining room, and kitchen. There are refrigerators stocked with foods and snacks all day and night in the common areas and a fridge in our room filled with drinks along with a plate of snacks and a microwave and coffee maker in the room. There is also a hot water machine with oatmeal (and tons of toppings) and tea bags/​coffee available.
Our room had a private entrance off of the front porch and a connected bathroom. The other room entered through the front door and had a bathroom across the hall.
We told Thuy we would not be staying for breakfast so she packed us a bag of snacks and bagels, drinks, fruit, cookies, … Had we stayed for breakfast they offered it at any time we chose and had any item you could imagine for breakfast specially made!
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Every thing had been thought of — extra toiletries, bedding, a humidifier, maps of the area and menus/brochures…the list of thoughtful amenities goes on and on.
I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts and this by far exceeded every one of them.

I’m finally catching up with my Unilocal reviews from the summer. I certainly wanted to make sure to write a review on my stay at the Feng Shui house.
This is actually a large 2 story house right on 17 mile drive in Pebble Beach area. The owners Thuy and Paul live upstairs and they rent he rooms downstairs. I stayed in the double room with two very comfy queen beds with two girlfriends. The room was very spacious and had a stocked mini fridge, fresh fruit and snacks (included in the price, no extra charge) and a large flat screen tv. It felt very cozy and comfortable. We shared a bathroom right outside the hall which was fine as I never had to wait to use it. This was an amazing deal for that area, we couldn’t find anything as nice, comfortable and in such a perfect location for under $ 200.
The best part of our stay though was the hospitality of the owners. Thuy is super sweet, she asked what we wanted for breakfast and made us a feast. This was no continental breakfast. Her and her husband Paul cooked us eggs, bacon, oatmeal, toast, there were also homebaked muffins, lots of fresh fruit, coffee, the works! They sat with us and chatted for a while and truly treated us as guests in their home, they also gave us some good tips on places to hike and camp next time we are in the area.
This was by far my best experience staying at an Inn/B&B ever. Thuy even gave us a goody bag to go with muffins, granola bars and made us hot tea for the road! As we were getting ready to leave I commented on her gorgeous and prolific succulent garden and what did she do? She gave us cuttings to take home with us! Now I have a little piece of Pebble Beach in my little potted garden on my balcony.
Thanks so much Thuy for being such a gracious hostess and welcoming us into your home. I hope to visit again next summer.

What a delight to find a true value in vacation accommodations! Paul and Thuy are gracious and attentive hosts who made us feel welcome and special. Our room was luxurious, comfortable, and spacious. Everything we needed was right there: coffee maker, microwave, fridge, snacks, thick bath towels, shampoos, hair dryer, big screen TV, fantastic king size bed with quality linens, etc. Thuy baked some delicious banana muffins and apple cake. Paul made old fashioned oatmeal for breakfast. Thank you Paul and Thuy for your warmth and generosity. We would love to stay with you again soon.

Extremely comfortable room run by such hospitable and genuinely nice people. The location is perfect for a weekend in that area, right between Carmel and Monterrey. Close to Big Sur as well. You will not find a better deal and value in the area.
I felt as though we were staying at a relative’s house. I highly recommend you staying here.

This is an amazing place! The rooms are very nice and the home is beautiful, but even better than all the little wonderful extras and the amazing price are the owners. Paul and Thuy are so gracious and kind and they make you feel so welcomed in their home. We could not have been happier in a 5 star hotel. Don’t miss out on real hospitality.
