Church In the Forest

This is a bit overdue but I finally set up an account. I am torn between 3 and 4 stars and decided to error up. I had my wedding here a couple of years ago. The venue is gorgeous. The church with the trees outside of the large windows is amazing. The organist did a great job as well. It was the holidays so the church was already decorated and that worked for us. What I was not as much of a fan of was the pastor. I thought the sermon was pretty basic and not really tailored to us in any way even though we met with him before. Added to the fact that he got my name wrong when doing the vows. Fortunately my husband responded with the correct name :)

A beautiful non-​denomination church nestled amongst the trees of Pebble Beach. My visit was for a wedding and the wonderful glass window behind the altar added a great amount of natural beauty to the whole ceremony.

Had my wedding ceremony here and it is jawdroppingly gorgeous! My husband and I ran into a planning snafu in our wedding and needed a new venue STAT. Church in the Forest came through for us with bells on. Kay Gameiro is their wedding coordinator and she swiftly got us on the calendar and made the transition smooth in a VERY hectic and stressful planning process.
I absolutely adore Pastor Bill and his witty yet practical wedding sermon. He made us feel like absolute gems and made sure the ceremony ran as smooth as silk. His wife Paula was the church’s day of coordinator and she did a splendid job getting me to my bridal suite and ready for my trip to the altar. And did I mention the price is VERY REASONABLE??? That is just one of many reasons why I would highly recommend this church as a wedding venue. Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover it.

I came here for a wedding and it was nice. The inside of the church is pretty old school and they had an organ player up on a 2^nd level as well. In the back of the church is a huge bay window with a great view of the forest and it’s a great backdrop for the wedding. All in all they put on a good ceremony and if you check out the website, there price for a wedding in Carmel of all places is very fairly priced. Ceremonies last about an hour and there’s plenty of parking.
