We have 2 delicious dry rubs in our «Cool Ranch» and «Blackened Vodu». All food is made fresh and hot to order! All our salads are made from scratch and we specialize in made to order food. Our appetizers include: Garlic Mushrooms, Onion Rings, Fried Pickles, and delicious french fry rubs. Moreover, we have sweet and tasty desserts such as brownie and cheesecake bites.

History

Established in 1991.

The Wing Zone idea was conceived in 1991 by Matt Friedman and Adam Scott, then two students at the University of Florida. In an attempt to offer a late-​night alternative to pizza delivery, to satisfy their munchies, the two students took over their fraternity kitchen at nights and began developing their own techniques for creating original buffalo wings. According to Wing Zone’s website, they sold out on their first two nights of business. Noting the tremendous business opportunity, Matt and Adam opened up their first two stores in Gainesville, Florida in 1993. As of 2010 Wing Zone has opened their first international store in Panama City Panama. In 2014, Wing Zone opened their second international store in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.[5]

After reading all the reviews I expected a lot worse, but it wasn’t bad at all! I got the family pack & used a coupon from the back of my HEB receipt for 5 free wings. Looking forward to trying new flavors!

I give this place 3 stars only because of the voodoo wings. They had a nice flavor to them. But I tried the fried shrimp and honestly it tasted like the frozen breaded shrimp that you get at the store and cook when you don’t feel like going out. No seasoning or flavor.
And the lemon pepper wings had a wet sauce that was… different. I’ve never tasted anything like that anywhere. It almost seemed creamy. It want your usual butter and lemon pepper seasoning. I didn’t finish it.
You may want to try some of their other flavors or maybe their burgers. All in all, I probably won’t go back.

Proud to manage this place. I’ve been here for a little over 5 months and I love it. We have a whole new team, faster and nicer. We promise you great quality wings, great service, good deals, and a lot of fun. Join us on Sundays for our 50 cent beer or on Tuesdays for our 50 cent wings and we have more than that. I can make better wings! Save your money… don’t waste your time! My honey and I love wings and we usually try all the new wing spots… hence the visit
We both got the 10 piece basket with fries… let’s just say WE WON’T BE BACK. It’s over priced and under flavored! I mean really we have been to «Non Wing» establishments that have wings on their menu that would blow this place out the park. However they definitely offer a variety of things but first impressions are lasting. The icing on the cake was when we went thru a drive thru across the street from them to get a drink and the lady that came to the window said oh you guys just left wing zone be careful and make sure your chicken is fully cooked and also I just quit there because they are way too dirty I would never eat there… imagine the look on my face. So I say to you all… GOOD LUCK! !

Cook Your Own at Home!
Wing Zone was clean. The service was wonderful to say I only saw and interacted with teenagers and maybe one young adult. It’s Monday, so I order the twenty boneless wing special, which didn’t come with fries or a drink. I’m not sure how Wing Zone expects patrons to gobble down all of those wings without a beverage; maybe they figure that its doable because you are dining on boneless, and not bone-​in wings. Oh, well, I purchased a drink and fries listening to my eyes and appetite confuse me into thinking that we were all in for a treat. Boy were we wrong!
Needless to say, after eating all of my fries, and half of my wings, I think Wing Zone needs to focus more on it’s fries variations because they were actually better than the wings (LOL!). Now there are other options to choose from and this was my first time here, so I’m not telling people to head for the hills. The service is what prompted me to give three stars and not two. I would have felt bad later had I given those nice kids two stars, as if they didn’t provide wonderful service.
I doubt that I will come back. In the event I do, I won’t be ordering wings. I thought, for some reason, when at new establisbments, one could never go wrong with wings. They proved that theory to be inaccurate.

Well I ordered my food for delivery and they reviewed it at 3:00. My food didn’t come till 4:15. The place might have been understaffed but an hour and fifteen minutes is quite a long time to wait for food.

Like many others, went here on a Wednesday night at about 8:15, ordered a wing basket and tenders and it took 35 minutes to get the food. The wait is extremely long considering no one was really in the place, and they always seem understaffed. When I got home, the order was missing fries and toast from the wing basket. I called to let them know, and the manager has a snide remark for everything I say. I wasn’t going to drive back up there for fries, but because of his attitude over the phone, I felt like I needed to discuss my concerns in person. When I get back there now at 9:45, he has an envelop of money that he throws at me, without hearing my concerns. I guess moral of story is don’t call if the order is wrong. The manager will ask what he can do to make it right, but it’s just to appease you. He has no intent on satisfying the customer.

Used to go to the one off westheimer, but they closed that one years ago. Sauce on wings are good. We got half honey bar b que, half mild. Love the mild! Of course the wedge fries came with the wings and those were just ok, They weren’t fresh.
I did notice that they only had two people working, which one of them was the cook and the delivery person. That really sucks, but luckily our order didn’t take long (10 min). I feel for people who work somewhere that’s short handed, been there.
Overall, we would come back. We even noticed they will be playing the Manny vs. Mayweather fight on the 2nd! Awesome!

Never have a problem with the food, the service is a little slow but I’d rather have hot wings than cold wings. Would have loved to dined in but instead sat in my car with my kids. The place was freaking cold!!! 66° is a bit cold for a small restaurant. No one can enjoy their food comfortably. Overall I like the place.

Checked out this place for the first time, food was decent, but the worst service I have ever received from a restaurant and because of that I will not return. The manager at this location displayed horrible customer service and is lacking in the professionalism department. His offer to reconcile the inaccurate order was insulting.
Manager Josh, you should visit the taco bell on shadow creek parkway, every employee ALWAYS offers and provides excellent customer service.

This place is very slow for a fast food place where you order at the counter. We ordered at 11:33 and the food didn’t come out until 11:59 and the place only had one other table.
Wings — we both got the 10 wings basket (one with wedge fries, one with coleslaw). The sauce on the side. Overall, the fries and coleslaw are okay. You’ll find similar offerings elsewhere.
Fried Shrimps — this was decent. Simple, crispy, and not greasy at all.
Fried mushrooms — decent as well. The batter didn’t get mushy after cooling down.
Would return. You just can’t be in a rush here because it is slow.

Checked out the new place. Unfortunately, try did not meet or beat expectations. I ordered a #1 original combo with wedge fries and a side of coke slaw. I got the garlic parm flavor. The wings were soaked in sauce. Didn’t taste much garlic or parm. It tasted like just another buffalo wing to me. For a place dedicated to wings, I think I expected a lot more. The wedge fries were good. Wasn’t a fan of the cole slaw that I didn’t get a fork for.
I’ll give them another shot, but they definitely didn’t win me over with this first order.

Ordered online tonight. Wings were great (dry rub), the tender box… tenders were very good but will say because they are hot (and delicious) and placed directly into a styrofoam box the breading isn’t crispy as I would like. Buffalo bliss as a dipping sauce: was pretty good. I actually can’t wait to try all the sauces. Fries were pretty good, as the slaw and Texas toast were too but maybe just a little less butter on the toast. We also decided to try the mushrooms… they were ok, I guess they caught me off guard they had a very distinct garlic flavor I wasn’t expecting.
Delivery time was around 15−20mins
I wish I would have got the delivery mans name… He was very polite, big smile and could tell he enjoyed his job.
Ordering online was really why I didn’t give it 5stars there is tons of unknowns to click on to try and find the right meal deal… Not very many tabs told you what you were getting until you clicked and clicked and clicked until you found the one you want. The reason you order online is for ease but it was frustrating when we’re hungry.
I will say I’m not a slaw eater (but the hubby is) and would have preferred a button to sub out the slaw.
All-​n-​all we WILL order again!!! Thank you to all who made and delivered our order on such a rainy night!

I would give 0 stars if available. The food is good, but not worth the very long wait. I have been to this location several times and have waited over 30mins for an order. I understand this is a new location, but they are very deceptive when they tell customers that their food will be ready in 15 mins or that it’s being worked on. I placed my order online tonight thinking that would expedite the process… NOPE still waited over 20 mins. after I arrived. Apparently, deliveries were over an hour behind because several customers called inquiring about their orders while I stood their.
Maybe the water cup for some fountain drink is worth the one star… Back to Wing Stop!
Update– the order was placed at 6:42 and it wasn’t ready until 7:47. Definitely not acceptable.
