Sweet & Sassy

I took my 3 year old all by herself for a birthday «princess» makeover. At 3 I knew my little girl might get lost in the shuffle with party with her cousins and older friends. So I decided to create a «Princess for a Day» event for her birthday. Sweet and Sassy did not disappoint. The young lady was so kind to my daughter. She really gave her the «royal» treatment. My daughter was thrilled with her makeover!
My only suggestion to Sweet and Sassy is to make things a bit easier on single person coverage. The poor girl taking care of my daughter was the only one there. So even though it was a slow time of day, she had to stop taking care of my little one to help customers coming in. She also had to answer all calls coming in…(explaining Birthday parties requires some time and attention). She did her best, and was wonderful with my little girl.
We will most certainly be back. Thank you for making the day EPIC for my little girl’s 3^rd birthday.

Such a cute and fun place for girls! My niece always loves it when I take her and she always has the best time! The workers here are always super friendly, sweet and very patient with the girls.

My daughters love it here. All employees are so sweet and show genuine interest in the clients.
If it’s crowded, service becomes slower, but it doesn’t bother us.
One of my daughter likes to go once a month, either alone or with friends.

We come here several times each year for birthday parties and the girls always have so much fun. The girls love to dress up, get their nails painted and have their hair done in cute and funky hair styles. We attended a party here recently and all the moms immediately noticed the selection of dress up clothes were new and had more variety. The old princess dresses were looking really ratty. As long as they are not short staffed, the party flows pretty well. Usually first thing in the morning. The later it gets, the more the employees are pulled in different directions and it takes FOREVER because they are also trying to accommodate customers coming in as well. It also gets really crowded if there are two parties going on at the same time. Yikes.
The parties we have attended here have definitely improved over the years. This is a decent place for a party, but I would not spend the money for a pedi/​mani here if we just walked in off the street. In my opinion, it’s just not worth it. Any nail place can give you the same thing for much cheaper, minus the tween girly atmosphere.
I would recommend having an early party or coming in early in the morning because parking in the area is limited and it’s a busy shopping area. We have had to walk from the other side of the shopping center (behind Barnes and Noble) before and it was terrible.

I saw the previous reviews & they were from a few years ago. Well, my daughter went here for a birthday party. She absolutely loved the entire set up and the staff. The young ladies were vibrant and really interacted with the girls. The place is absolutely cute and when we walked in, my daughter was in heaven. She enjoyed everything, her manicure, pedicure, facial, makeup application. I didn’t allow her hair to get styled because my daughter has very thick, curly hair. I knew the young lady working on her would regret taking those ponytails loose (I hate doing her hair myself and I am her mother). I did allow the glitter to be sprayed in her hair. For the final piece, all of the girls got to make their lotion and lip gloss. One thing my daughter kept saying as she was being pampered, while sitting in a chair, hands out to let her nails dry, feet up too was, «Ahhh Mommy! This is so relaxing!» So since my daughter had a blast, it made mommy happy also.

I was extremely excited about taking my two nieces to get pampered. I was happy to make the appointment about a week out with no problems. On the day of, I showed up they were nice enough to take us 30 mins early. The two girls were taken back for their spa packages. When I picked up my two nieces they still had white stuff on their face from the facials. The pedicure they received did not include a foot scrub, or toe nail trimming. When I was checking out and paid over $ 100 for the girls, I had to remind the staff to give them their rings that were included in the package. I was unhappy with my visit and will not being going back. If you have expectations on having your children have a great experience because of the price, you will be disappointed.

I was really excited when I booked the appointment for my little sisters. My sister has been talking about going to a place like Sweet & Sassy for a year or two.
There were a couple of really enthusiastic workers there, but unfortunately they were busy running a birthday party of 5 year olds. The girls that did my sisters makeovers seemed like they didn’t even want to be there. They didn’t really talk to my sisters, and they didn’t even smile. I did not see any disinfectant in the vanity area for brushes or make-​ups tools.
On one of my sisters you could barely see her eye shadow, and on the other it was sloppy and uneven.
One of my sisters is mixed and has black natural textured hair, and I was really irritated that when she was finished her hair looked sloppy. She was not the only one, because I saw another child with similar textured hair and hers looked sloppy too. It looks like these girls are taught a few different hairstyles and I was really disappointed that they do not have a hairstyle that will work well with natural textured hair.
Over-​all my sisters had fun, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I would not take them there again.

My experience was oookay on my end, but it could have been because I was stressed/​overwhelmed with so much family/​kids coming — however, when I called to confirm dates and details they just werent very friendly in my opinion (except for maybe one of the managers called Jessica). I thought it was odd they never called to confirm party details like they were supposed to. Glad I called. The girls (and all the guests), however had A BLAST so ultimately that’s what really matters, I think the staff in general though could have been somewhat more attentive or happy to be there — I dont know, thats how I left feeling, I know we had a large family and we were there late so I guess they were ready for us to get the heck out — lol — I just felt they could have been a little more pleasant and had a better attitude, they did their job and what was expected of them, but did not go above and beyond, I’ve had much better service at other party venue locations.
Overall, it was a success so I’m not going to completely bash them because it was truly a fun party. First time ever at a sweet n sasy — what a marvelous place for little girls! But I might try a different location next time due to the service, its a shame because the potential is there, the girls just need to sharpen their customer service skills a tad.
ps — When I called the next day to give them my feedback the manager I talked to seemed very indifferent and didnt really have much to say. I talked to Jessica another time, she was much more attentive and pleasant. Thanks Jessica.

Staff is incompetent at this location. Booked my daugter’s 4^th B-​day party and was given the incorrect time for the party. Invitations were already sent out and staff later realized they gave me the wrong time. Spoke to the manager ‘Kim” and she blew it off too. This location is closest to our home, otherwise would have picked a different location to have the party.
