Shipman Bodywork began in 2012 with one simple mission — to serve others with the profound healing benefits of massage therapy. Jason Shipman, owner and founder, was blessed with the healing touch from a very young age and it was his massages that provided some of the relief to his mother’s horrible migraines. Shipman Bodywork, located at 8809 Broadway St, Ste 121, in Pearland, Texas, offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal Massage. Mobile massage and on-​site chair massage services to your home, office or functions, and massage parties are also available. Massage parties are a unique way to enhance bachelorette parties, birthday parties, girls’ nights, etc. and no location is too far away, assuming there’s enough notice and clients are willing to accept the travel fee. History

Established in 2012.

The business was started immediately after Jason received his Texas Massage license on July 1^st, 2012, performing mobile massage at the clients’ locations, parties, etc. We added Reiki after Janine completed her Reiki training. Yoga instruction was added after Janine was nationally certified to teach in February/​March of 2013.

Business Owner

Jason is the licensed massage therapist and owner of the company. He received his massage training at the Texas School of Massage in Clear Lake, Texas. He is a people person, and loves working with his clients. He listens to his clients as they describe the issue (s) they are currently experiencing, and modifies the massage to help as much as possible. He is married and has two wonderful daughters.
