Perfume Depot

I have been to Perfume Depot twice now. While the selection is large and the shop keeper friendly, the products are EXTREMELY overpriced. I went in with my mother yesterday. She was in the mood for something completely different. She is typically a fan of the Elizabeth Arden and Chanel fragrances. We asked the clerk for a recommendation and she showed us several perfumes that are uncommon here in the U.S. My mom decided to go with Shalis for Women and Reve. I got a large sized Hearts and Daggers (a fave of mine from years ago). We decided to research the newer perfumes today and it turns out the store sold them for $ 20-​$ 25 more than they retail online. Even worse, my Hearts and Daggers was sold at DOUBLE the current retail price ($ 69. 99 versus $ 34). Thankfully, I haven’t opened that one yet, so I plan to exchange it with original packaging… and will definitely cross reference the price on the new item before I leave. It is a shame really. They have a great location and products, but greed will be their undoing.

I’ve actually been here at least three times before. They have the widest selection of perfumes and colognes I’ve seen. I had been looking all over for my favorite cologne only to find it here. It’s pricey but worth it if you know how you, your mother, a significant other, or another loved one should smell.
