I couldn’t be happier on how well they treated my dog and myself. My 3 year old German Shepherd’s hip popped out of its socket, and they were able to get it back in, even with her shallow joints. I received updates as soon as there were some. Once I picked my dog up the Dr. gave me a briefing on what took place with pictures on how the joints should look vs x-​rays that they took of my dog. I then received a CD with these pictures and all the appropriate information in a packet to take to my vet. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that’s having issues with their pets during after hours! Thanks!

We recently had to pay this place a visit after my childhood cat had a stroke. We were so relieved that there was a place open at midnight and located close by. Although my sweet girl ended up being put to sleep, the service we received was very good. They got us right in and were very sympathetic to our situation. The vet had a very comforting vibe to her that made us feel better about things. Something else that I was impressed with was the price. For all the services rendered and cremation, it was around $ 300. We were expecting considerably more. Finally, the cherry on top was when we received a handwritten card in the mail expressing sorrow for our loss from the whole clinic. They also included a sweet kitty bookmark and wildflower seeds to plant in honor of Fluffie. Although it was a very upsetting and sad situation for my family, I was satisfied with my experience.

Couldn’t find the place, but knew it was opposite Home Depot. Called and spoke with «Angel» who couldn’t be more bored or disinterested in her job if she tried. I told her I was next to Kohls, but she only knew exactly what was next to her place of employment. Apparently, she wears blinders to work each day. Surely, as a receptionist, she should be able to give directions?
OK, I had surgery performed on the dog, at a great local clinic, but he was too unstable to be alone overnight, so they transferred me to the emergency Clinic for overnight care. However, I was still kept waiting for 70 minutes to speak with the doctor, who just basically wanted me to sign a form making me personally responsible. I got to miss work, in order for a Doctor to perform a receptionist’s job filling in paperwork. Plus, another $ 500 of vet fees. Total rip off.

I was there Saturday and had to have my beloved Callie euthanized. My wife and I would love to thank the attending vet and receptionist for their compassion on this very difficult time for us. I did not get her name but she was a young lady and pregnant. Thank you so much.

After my visit, I have to warn others to ask first before admitting your pet. I admitted my cat and told the receptionist that the cat was very ill. It didn’t eat or drink for days and had lost a lot of weight. It was so sick it couldn’t move. I was there for 6 hours. I don’t know if they did a preliminary check-​in exam, but I don’t think seeing me after 5 hours left me with any comfort. I am dissatisfied by the lack of urgency given the situation that I described. I at least expected immediate preliminary exam to see that the pet was in poor health condition. I don’t blame them for what happened to my cat at the end, but I went there wanting immediate attention and satisfaction that I tried to do all that can be done, given that time was critical for a treatment. Ask first when the vet will see your pet and when the you’ll be advised of the conditions.

I had to take my senior dog into the clinic today (i.e. Sunday) because her regular vet couldn’t fit her in to euthanize her. Each one of the staff members I met today was friendly and comforting. I was told the wait was an hour and ½, but that was not the case. My dog and I were seen right away. Even though that was a horrible experience, I would recommend this place for euthanasia services.

Worst Emergency Animal place ever. If you love your pet in the slightest, avoid this place like the plague. Unfriendly staff and the service is even worse. Took my very sick cat there on a Sunday. Was only one person in the waiting room at the time. 3 other groups came in after us and their pets were taken in immediately and we were still waiting :(After 45 minutes, they took my cat to the back to ‘start checking her vitals’. After another 50 minutes, still no update. So I went to ask if they have found anything and they said ‘oh we had other pets who needed to be seen sooner, so we haven’t started on your cat yet’. Apparently a cat who hasn’t eaten in over 2 days, is vomiting and can’t walk is not sick enough for them. After waiting for almost 2 hours, I asked for my cat back and we left. If you have all day to spend and you like crappy service, then this is the place for you.

I sincerely hope that you never have to visit this clinic because if you do, it probably means that your four-​legged friend is in a bad way and you just can’t wait until your regular veterinarian is available. That much being said, if you DO find yourself in need of emergency care for your pet during the weekend or overnight when the other area clinics are closed, this place is an absolute life-​saver. I’ve had to visit them once recently when my cat was seemingly knocking on death’s door and they brought him in, cared for him so I could return home and get some sleep, and ran all kinds of super helpful tests so that when I transported him to his vet the next morning, a lot of investigative legwork had already been completed. On top of that, everyone that I encountered while being there was friendly, compassionate, and sincerely concerned about the welfare of my little cat.
Since this is an emergency clinic, it’s going to cost you more money than a typical exam or office call would at your typical vet but that is to be expected. The tests and medications, however, seem to be right in line with what I paid for at my regular vet so all things being equal, this place is more than fair when it comes to the peace of mind and serenity it can provide you during what is undoubtedly a stressful time for you and your pet.
As much as I appreciated everything they did for me and my cat, I hope that I never have to enter their doors again but only because it will mean that my little orange friend is in good health. If something does go wrong, though, I know that they’re just a short car ride away and he’ll be in good hands. Thanks for what you do, Pearland 288 Animal Emergency Clinic!
