Nbr 1 Nail & Spa

This is the only nail salon I go to! I’ve been a loyal customer since I moved here almost three years ago. I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure. The deluxe pedicure includes an exfoliating scrub and hot towels and it’s only $ 27. She even offered a water as soon as I sat down. I love this salon and wish I could rate it higher.

I’m not one to give any reviews, unless I’m REALLY impressed and they EXCEEDED my expectations! I appreciate that they took their time and worked with me in selecting the right package for me (being a first time customer). They recommended colors which I love!
I would have given them 5 starts but she drilled a bit too much.
Will definitely be coming back

I came here because I was given a gift certificate. POSITIVE: The place is very clean&well kept, well lit, nice atmosphere. The pedicurist was friendly and attentive, though hard for me to communicate with, but she tried. NEGATIVE: I noticed when I got home that my toenails had been cut at an angle, however, and still a bit long. Also the polish was smudged and it chipped within a day. Usually a pedicure will last me about a month. The manicure was not even worth the few minutes she spent. I tried several times to ask her NOT to pull on the cuticles while trimming them, but I guess habits are hard to break because she continued to do so. So, my cuticles became sore, jagged and swollen. I asked for clear polish because a regular manicure will not last much more than a day. Even I was surprised when it started peeling off that evening — on its own.
Not going back.

Very clean! They really take their time. I’ve gone several times to get shellac manicure and also have a very hands on tough work environment. The manicure has never chipped before 2 weeks. Great price and excellent work! After trying several nail salons in the area this is by far my favorite.

Ample room. Spa chairs in the middle & along the wall. Classic nail salon.
Went here got manis & pedis. Nailed we’re shellacked & so far so good the polish is remaining in place.
A bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth the extra coins for a quality product.
On this day we were able to get hands & feet done in an hour.
When I’m in the area, this will be my go-​to-​place for mani & pedis.

I notice just how clean the place looked compared to other similar nail salons in the same price range. The price is not bad either! will return!

Love this place been a client for over a year now. Service is quick but quality, which i appreciate. Never really wait longer then 5 minutes since I make my appointment ahead of time. I originally started just walking in and never waited long either. My nail fills last a long time and so do my pedicure’s. All the staff is very nice. I just wish they had more of a variety of new colors.

I have been coming to Number 1 Nails for at least 5 years and am always pleased. Services used regularly are mani-​pedi and face wax. I usually have Mary and Annie but also Caroline and several other of the ladies over the years. They are pleasant, friendly, always accommodating and the place is clean. Jimmy keeps everything moving smoothly. They ask you to pay before finishing so you won’t have your wet nails in your purse — makes perfect sense to me. The only unpleasantness experienced here is with other patrons that spend the time talking LOUDLY on their cell phones as if the rest of the world wants to hear their business. Really people it’s meant to be more of a limited spa experience — not a view to your soap operas and boring drama. Keep up the good work Jimmy and the entire team!

I love it here. Every time I go, I get in and out and my Shellac always looks awesome. I’ve also had my eyebrows waxed and my feet done here and was pleased with those results as well.

I have been going here for about 2 years now and I love them. I have been to several nail salons in the city of Houston and a few in pearland and they are my favorite. The manager Jimmy is great at taking care of you and they always have the latest polish collections from OPI, CND, China Glaze, and so on. I have a nail blog where I feature most of their work and get tons of compliments. I only wish they would up the ante on nail art and perfecting the «stiletto» nail shape but other then that, no complaints.

I have been here 1 other time before with my sister to get my nails done and it went pretty well, but this time it did not, and I’m very very disappointed. So I went this past weekend to get a pedi for my mom and to get my nails done, as soon as I arrived they were rushing me to pick out my nail color, I was asking for light pink and the lady said they didn’t carry it, I was shocked because last time i saw it, anywho, I picked a color quickly and it was followed by nothing but bad customer service. The lady was really rough on my nails (they hurt for a whole 2 days), the lady doing my mom’s pedicure kept getting phone calls AND she was answering them, she did this quite a few times, and then when i asked her how long i should get my nails the lady told me «i don’t know, i’m not the one wearing them», SERIOUSLY? And to end the day they asked us to PAY BEFORE they even finished our services. My nails did look good but it was not enough to repair the damage the customer service did, i will not be coming back to this nail salon EVER again.
