We are #1 «The Best German Restaurant in America 2012, 2013, and 2014!»
Top 12 Beer Gardens in America by The Daily Meal.
Where it’s Oktoberfest All Year Round! Here at King’s Biergarten & Restaurant we only use the freshest ingredients. Our Sausages, Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Wiener Schnitzel, and Austrian Specialties are all prepared with our family’s recipes that have been used for many generations. We only use all-natural Himalayan Crystal Salt for our food, which we believe makes the difference when it comes to great food! Please don’t be timid, try anything! Everything is good and just because you’ve never had it doesn’t mean you won’t fall in love after the first bite.
We now have 19 German Draft Biers!
Join us every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night for live German music on our Patio.
History
Established in 2011.
Johann Sitter, creator of King’s Biergarten, started with humble beginnings.
Born into his family’s restaurant, and a butcher by trade, he has extensive experience in all things restaurant. He has owned over 20 restaurants throughout the years! Wanting to pursue his dreams, he moved with his young son Philipp from Austria to Houston in 1996 with just one suitcase and speaking very little English.
During the next few years, he opened up several restaurants and shopping centers. His most recent endeavor was to buy the property that he named, «King’s Hand Car Wash.» From the beginning, Johann wanted to establish a small restaurant where you were able to eat and drink while waiting for your car to be washed. It took only three years for that dream to become a reality with the opening of King’s Biergarten in 2011.
The restaurant was a small establishment with 40 seats where you could eat a Bratwurst and drink a good beer. King’s, however, caught on like wildfire and the rest is history!
