History

Established in 1989.

First Christian Academy began as a Private Christian School, grades 5^th through 12^th grade. From the start, the Founders knew we were to not be affiliated with any specific church or denomination. FCA was the first private school in the Houston surrounding area… not linked with a Church. The Founders of FCA felt from God, Houston needed a non-​denominational school.

The First Christian Academy, Articles of Incorporation, dated May 22,1999, state that the school was founded «to provide instruction of high academic quality to pupils in order that they may have a Christian education and be prepared to take their proper place in the home, church, and the state in accordance with the teaching of the Word of God and the following fundamental principles:

(1) The instruction and education of children in the Word of God;

(2) The school as an institution which properly depends on and proceeds from the home, rather than the church or state.
