We specialize in Primary Eye Care of Adults & Children. Each comprehensive exam includes retinal photos, a pressure check to screen for Glaucoma, glasses presciption, dilation, and a visual field screening. This includes providing prescriptions for glasses and contacts, treating eye diseases and infections, and co-​mananging LASIK and Glaucoma. We also have a spacious optical with the latest brands and unique boutique brands.

CustomEyes was brought to fruition when Dr. Sejal Patel decided to provide her local community with a high tech, spa-​like, concierge boutique with a wide-​ranging selection of frames and custom eyeglass & contact lenses. Her dream was to create a relaxing environment with spacious rooms where patients are treated with care and attention. As a mother of two young children, she also wanted to provide her community with an office that had a large selection of pediatric glasses and a play area. Today, CustomEyes is a place where the entire family can have a quality, fun-​filled experience together.

Dr. Patel graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007, where she gained extensive experience in ocular disease, pediatric care, contact lens fitting and primary care. Dr. Patel is dedicated to the full scope of optometry, but takes special interest in custom contact lens fittings and co-​managing glaucoma, diabetes and high blood pressure. In addition to being a therapeutic optometrist, Dr. Patel is certified as a glaucoma specialist. In 2013, Dr. Patel opened her first Custom Eyes location in Pearland, Texas. Her vision was to create a luxury boutique with all of the latest technology and eye wear. Being the mother of 2 young boys, she also wanted to make sure the boutique was kid-​friendly. In 2016, Dr. Patel opened her second practice in the Memorial area of Houston. She also added partners, Dr. Ruchira Damani & Dr. Elizabeth May. As a team, all
