I don’t eat here that often b/​c it’s sooo expensive and really it’s not mind blowing.

This is my family’s go to neighborhood burger joint. Well priced, great burgers, and lovely service. Get the onion rings!

Omg first time ordering and I hot drive thru. Burger was amazimg and I am now def a fan! Fried jalapeños were great!!! New fav burger place.

Huge burger! I loved that I could put whatever I wanted on it myself in the sides section. The food was hot and prepped as ordered. We live close so we’ll be back.

This place is just ok. Really wanted it to be amazing, but it tastes like an average burger.

My husband and I eat here all the time, it’s a wonderful burger place! It’s a little more pricy then a fast food burger but that shows in the taste! They cook to order, I always ask for my meat extra well done and it’s always great! The French fries always taste fresh and hot! It’s definitely worth checking out! Side note, I’ve seen some people point out the fact that they didn’t like that they had a salad bar type area where you put on your own toppings, but if it’s a hot topping or something you want put on while cooked, they’ll do it if you ask because I always get grilled onions and mushrooms on mine! Oh and they always toast the hamburger buns!

I’ve been going here for years. I love that the food is cooked for order. Very kind owner. she refills your drink while you wait for your order. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. It might be more expensive but it isn’t just some regular chain. They strive to keep things fresh and have great customer service.

This might look like a hole in the wall but inside the doors it is nice and clean. They are polite and helpful inside and the burgers are great. The menu might be small but what they offer is great! Try the onion rings they are really good!

I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try with the bf… its not that noticeable when driving past it… to be honest I didn’t see this place but I saw the chinese restaurant that was next door. Upon entering we notice it is really dated. Total old school vibe… not dirty but just old. The cashier was really nice and patient with us while we checked out the menu… We ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal (included fries and a drink) and a special bulgogi burger with onion rings and a drink… for both meals i believe the total was around $ 23 which i felt was a bit pricey. There is a self serve fountain soda machine… as well as a toppings bar for your burger with fresh veggies.
It didn’t take to long for the burgers to come out… we topped them with veggies of our choice… they had nice looking toppings that were very fresh.
No complaints for the burgers or sides… but like i said i felt it was a bit pricey…
Nice change of pace for us… but I just feel I could get more bang for my buck elsewhere… not bad that I would encourage you to try it…

Our first time to go to Burger Tex. Glad we did. Fresh made to order burgers, chicken fingers, fries, and onion rings. The gravy with the finger basket was really really good. O-​rings so good they will not be shared but eaten one by one quite stingily! Burger patties fresh… not frozen. Soft buns. Fresh crisp veggies. Nice fries. Good job and kudos to the lady who runs the place! We will be back! Yummy!

Ah, the definitive American cuisine, the hamburger is on full display here. The handmade patties rival the best around. They aren’t started until you order them, and come out hot and juicy. The ample fixins bar has all of the usual fare, such as pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayonnaise, mustard, and catsup, but they also have pico de gallo, relish, and plenty of jalapeños. The fries and onion rings are top notch as well.

Really good burgers on homemade buns! with a condiment bar so you can fix it the way you like it. I have passed this place for over 15 years and always wonder about it. Glad I finally stopped in, just wish I had sooner! And yes the owner is very sweet!

Very nice service. Walk up and order your type of burger and then you put the fixings on once it comes out from the kitchen. Very homey kind of place where everyone seems to know everyone else. Heard, «Hey _​_​_​_​_​_​, how’ve you been?» between multiple tables during our visit.
I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, which was ok.

Mrs. Kim is so nice and attentive. I always buy the fried shrimp and fries plate and just love it. The shrimp are perfectly seasoned and crispy fried, I even eat the tails since they are so good. I’ve also ordered the onion rings many times, they are so big, so tasteful. I have been very pleased with all the items I have ordered. I usually do the drive thru, service is quite fast, never have to wait long.

Solid burger joint with reasonable prices. I had the 6oz bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The meat patty was thick and juicy. It looked hand made. Onion rings were big and crunchy. Picky eaters don’t worry about toppings because there is a toppings bar where you can choose what to top your burger off with.

I’ve got great memories/​nostalgia associated with this place as I’ve been eating here since I was 7 years old.
I moved away almost 4 years ago but try to hit it up every time I’m in town.
The burgers are consistently good and just like I remember. The toppings are fresh and you can add however many you want. They’ve got a cheese sauce you can dip your fries in as well.
The staff are always friendly and it has a nice, homey yet professional décor/​atmosphere.

The service was pretty quick, and the burger was great. Typical homemade burger, and I love the build your own style. My buddy got the ice cream. He said it was good, but the portion seemed tiny.

This place made an ok burger for the price but nothing impressive. The portion of fries was rather small and they don’t dress the burger with condiments, instead you get a couple of squeeze packets.
If you are looking for a burger a hair above fast food these burgers will do but so much could be improved upon, you might as well get the fast food.

Today I was driving by and thought about this place. It’s been awhile since I have been here. The quality and food is exactly the same. I give this place 5 stars all the way around. The service is prompt. The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean. The restrooms are clean. The price is great.
Today I ordered a hamburger, fries and a drink. Total bill is $ 8.00. There is a salad bar so you can add all of the toppings you want.
The bread is fresh made daily. It’s toasted and so yummy. I’m going to leave a photo. But I really like my burgers plain. You can get many toppings if you like.
