Amazing Lash Studio

Absolutely awful. I’ve had lashes for years and recently moved to pearland and tried this place out because the reviews were good. Turns out they have people get a free set of lashes if they come in and model their lashes then write a good review on Unilocal!
So I’ll be real with you. The lash quality is cheap and irritating. I booked an appointment 2 weeks out to make sure I get in at a certain time on a certain day… Well I came in & they told me I didn’t have an appointment – turns out it’s because I had a different name in the system. Then they said my stylist was out sick and won’t be back and if I can reschedule since they are busy. Uhm no. Why didn’t I get a call to be informed she was gone before I walked in? Whatever you do, don’t go here if you’re willing to deal with the BS they throw at you.

This will be my first time wearing eye lashes so I had a couple of questions to ask I ask like one question and then she said to hold. I held for about 7 minutes. I want be going there if this is how the service is on the phone. WOW

Here I am again UPSET AS HELL! To anybody reading this I am unsure at this point what to do about this facility! I am going to write the BBB and contact their corporate office because the employees and service from the FRONT DESK is just AWFUL! From the last reported incident I made on Amazing Lash Studio in Pearland, the Manager called me and I was very pleased and my lashes was AMAZING and beyond what I expected. The manager compensated me for my inconvenience and made my visit a pleasant one. After my full set I THEN scheduled another appointment with the same lash stylist for the 28^th of November and they reassured the appointment was set and the manager made sure I was pleased in every way in which I was. I then called back on Thursday the 26^th of November to confirm my appointment and what I beyond rude front desk rep by the name of Ashton! She stated I didn’t make and appointment and the person who did my lashes was not a stylist there and that they are and in and out stylist where they come in from time to time. NOW MIND YOU I was told this was a set person and I could see her in 3 weeks as I normally go. Then Ashton begin to laugh on the phone as if it were funny that I was upset as if she didn’t take my business serious as if I am not a real customer. This is FAR BEYOND anything I have ever experienced in customer service history. I then explained to her that I don’t find anything funny seeing that I have been inconvenienced since I have been going here and now you telling me ONE I don’t have and appointment and TWO the person I wanted will not be there because she is NOT a permanent person. I WAS BEYOND FURIOUS! I then ask to speak to the manager and she asked me «what manager because she is not here.» I told her I wanted to spak to the manager that was there when I came to get my lashes re-​done which is the manager of the store in which Ashton KEPT BLOWING ME OFF!!! SHE THEN SAID «Well I can have the manager give you a call tomorrow», I told her I wanted to speak with someone today. Seeing that this wasn’t getting anywhere I just told her okay in which she then said okay and hung up the phone on me! I did not call back nor did I go up there and NOR have I heard from the manager or anyone else for that matter. This front desk representatives are far beyond rude and I am not sure where they get these people from as I said prior. The manager asked me to work with her and give her a chance and that she had not been there long and is cleaning up the people she had meaning keeping some and getting rid of some and she was so nice that I was like okay I understand. But to turn around and receive an even worse experience that I received in the past is beyond horrible customer service. I am not sure what I want to do at this point and I thought the problem had surely been resolved but it seems as though the manager may have good intentions; but if the staff doesn’t care as much as she does than she will always get complaints and get set back.

I have always had very thin brows and lashes, and have envied those that had big beautiful brows and lashes. In the past, I went to places that were a one stop shop. nails, eyebrows and lashes, and was never satisfied. It took three appointments to get a person at the Shadow Creek Location that took the time to make my lashes look beautiful. Thanx Amanda for all that you do!!! To those that are considering this location, please ask for Amanda, she is awesome.

The salon is nice and clean. However the manager Paige needs a little more training in customer service along with some of the stylists. Mahogany is very professional and helpful, but she can only do so much. I’ve been having my membership for over 6 months. During this 6 months, I’ve had appointments canceled, stylists that I like never stay here long, and damaged lashes. My breaking point was when a stylist put so much glue on my lashes another stylist had to remove all of them to put on a new set. Having your eyes burn and walking around with no lashes is not fun. This location will be better with proper training. Until then, I won’t be returning to this location. The regional manger was very helpful, but they take too long to respond to an issue.

I came to get my mink lash refill while attending my friend’s wedding. Thank you to the manager who tried to call a few of customers to move appt around and fit me in for 45 minutes. My lash came out prettier than the last time I had it filled. I’m very happy with the stylist and the 2 front desk.
Besides, they charged me $ 10 less than what I paid in CA. Every thing here is so affordable.
Thanks again, I really appreciate what you have done to help me having my beautiful eyes for the party. That’s why I’m giving you 5 stars.

Went for a refill during a gap that I had from my trip. I’m from CA and get my lashes at home but this studio is great! Clean, professional and nice staff. Awesome price for a fill. Very happy with my lashes.

After speaking with the manager and going back into the salon with another stylist, everything was amazing! My lashes came out great! Amanda was so professional and took her time! She did an amazing job and will definitely be returning to this location in the future.

Everyone very nice! I have no complaints besides the fact that I got pinched a couple of times and I got glue in my eye. I get my lashes done in Fall and I used to go to another place by the Galleria area but decided to try Amazing Lash Studio because I saw it while driving by…
I had never had an incident like this happen before and although the lady that did my lashes was beyond amazing the pain in my eye is unbearable! Very dissapointed (accidents happen) but I am not new to this and in the other Lash Studio I was a customer in I had never felt pain.

If it wasn’t for the Regional Manager (very nice) I would’ve given this place a 1 star, because I strongly dislike poor customer service. I’d rather receive mediocre lash service vs. poor customer service (it’s just that important to me). The lash techs do a fairly decent job (Kim was amazing, but she left) so getting lashes done here isn’t the problem. Give them a shot if you can get a lash tech you like and they stay long enough you’ll be fine. The front desk was always friendly. Hopefully, you won’t need any help from the manager Shannon she is very rude which ultimately made me cancel my contract. The pic attached was my lashes (wanted a bit fuller) that I needed a correction on versus the lashes Kim did. I called to get the correction, but got attitude from the manager Shannon. It’s not what you say, but how you say it. She should try reading The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and apply that to her job before managing anything.

I love this place! They are professional and have great customer service. The lashes last for up to 3 – 4 weeks :) Also, they are more courteous than the other locations and actually call me when they have spots open up in their schedule to better accommodate my needs. It’s my guilty pleasure according to my husband. No more mascara for me anymore!!! Less time applying eye makeup makes spontaneous date nights out easier too!

When I made the appointment to get eyelash extensions, I asked for an experienced technician and was assured that I had been assigned to one.
When I arrived, I was asked what kind of eyelash extensions I wanted. I explained I had not had them before and that I wanted something natural and that I was relying on their expertise to make a recommendation based on my eye color and shape. The technician made a recommendation and proceed to apply the extensions. The actual process took a little over 3 hours. During the three hours, there were times that I felt like I had been poked in the eyelid with something sharp and there were also times that my eyes started stinging and watering profusely. I was also very distressed by the strong smell of onion and garlic on the technician’s breath.
When I finally looked at the eyelash extensions, I was shocked. They were extremely long, extremely thick and I could see places where the extensions were lumped together. I could also see lumps of glue in some spots. I told the ladies at the front desk that I wanted to have them removed immediately, however, they encouraged me to wait a day or two to see if I changed my mind about the extensions.
I went home and took a closer look at the extensions in a magnifying mirror. I thought they looked even worse up close. I intended to have them removed but was unable to do so for a few weeks due to personal and work commitments. During the few weeks that I had them, I noticed that they were really heavy and could be painful at times and as they started to fall out, I could see that they had glued multiple lashes to each of my individual lashes. When I did have them removed, I realized that my natural eyelashes were now much more sparse and short.
I paid the $ 80 fee to get the extensions and $ 30 to have them removed. I think I should have been offered another full set for free and with their best technician this time, instead all I was offered was another full set at $ 80. When I asked who the best technician was, she claimed that all her technicians are equally qualified, which obviously is not the case.
I am very disappointed and will not be returning.

I never go so far to ask for their corporate number, for I never thinks it’s really worth it or necessary, but I did after this happened.
About 7months ago I made an online appointment to amazing studio lashes on shepherd street since that one at the time was the closest to me, their website HAS the option to book appointments online. On the day of my appointment I called to confirm it and IF I was to be bare face (makeup less) during my session since this was my first time I’ve ever done my lashes I didn’t know (I was VERY excited –_​_​_​_​_​-​) anyways when I called and asked, the lady tells me I have no appointment I explained to her that I did bc I booked through their online website, she then questions me on why I used their online booking site, and that it «never works right» «next time“that «I should call». After
She told me that I was upset, 1. Why the hell do you even have the option on booking an appoint. online? 2. Why is she scolding me ?
I asked for the manager in charge and she passed the phone to another girl, I explained what was going on yet again –_​-​, and how upset I was since their next available appointment wasn’t till next week, after I explained she didn’t seem like she was the manager to me, I asked her are you the manager she says no the manager won’t be there till tomorrow.
I asked for her work number and she gave it to me, I left a voicemail since she didn’t pick up, by the next day I received a voicemail from her, very apologetic, asking for my email and that I would receive a discount for the next appointment. I had accepted the apology but never received the discount she claimed she sent twice on my email. –_​– very shady customer service that I just had to let go of.
anyways they recently made a location right where I live in pearland. It was amazing (so I thought). I made an appointment for me and my sister on a Monday, thinking it would be better customer service this time (I CALLED this time) I had to ask for that day off since I had to work with my sisters crazy schedule, on the day of our appointment we received a call letting us know that we had to reschedule since the «girl didn’t show up to work» I then realized I’m just having the worse luck in getting my lashes done I never rescheduled bc I was just sick of the whole thing. This was about 2 months ago. Now flash forward to a week ago, my mom has very short lashes and asked me to book an appointment for her on her day off, so I did hoping she’d have better luck than me, I called ahead, a week ahead, made the appointment, received a txt msg the day before the appointment confirming it which I did, the day of the appointment I received a call saying the «girl who was going to be the lash stylist had to RESCHEDULE» I was just at awe. –_​_​_​_​_​–
I called this morning, asking to speak to a Manager, sure enough she’s not there, I asked for corporates number, & the lady tells me «well they only like us to give out their email» I have never received this type of horrible customer service. I’m completely done. I wouldn’t be surprised if they close down within the next 3 years.

I used to drive to the Galleria to get my lash done. I’m so happy this location is so closed to my house. It’s right at HEB where I go for my groceries.
The studio is beautiful and clean. Front staff is supper nice and professional.
I love my lash stylist. She is very gentle. My lashes look really beautiful.

I recently was feeling a little bold and switched from the regular lashes to the full color. WOW! I love them! Subtle to glance at but when you get up close they look awesome! I love the colors! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the regular ones!

Came in to get my first set of full lashes today and I must say I am hooked. I usually wear strips and can do them myself but I absolutely love my new ‘Gorgeous Lashes’. Samantha at this location did a great job! She was professional and advised me on the care for the lashes in detail. She was attentive to me. The girls at the front were all very friendly. The studio itself was very welcoming. Anywho, love my new full lashes and will be coming back to this location for my refill. Great location as I was able to do some shopping afterwards :)

I loveeee my lashes. The $ 79.99 deal definitely got me in the door and was well worth it. I have received so many compliments on my lashes within the last few weeks and now cannot wait to go back and get them refilled. All the staff at the studio was super nice and attentive, the manager Shannon went above and beyond to help me and was very personable. Overall it was a great experience and I’m in lust with these new lashes of mine!

I am editing this review as I just got a call from the manager at the salon and she apologized for the situation and attempted to make it better. She let me know that the person that I worked with is no longer at the salon and I decided that I will give them another shot– she was extremely professional and deeply apologetic assuring me that this is an isolated incident. I will try them out and see how I like them.
My original review mentioned poor customer service by the front desk, but based on my discussion with the manager I feel that it is no longer applicable to have online.

I’ve had two occasions where I have been to the Amazing Lash Studio Shadow Creek since they had opened and I loved it. They took care of me and made sure I was very satisfied. The location is conveniently by my house instead of having to drive to River Oaks or Voss and they are so spotless clean in there. The front desk girl I remember her name was Kayee was very attentive to my wants and needs and even greeted me when I walked through the door. They made my experience very enjoyable and the front desk girls kept me entertained and laughing while waiting on my stylist to finish up. Overall, I would recommend them to any and everyone and definitely make them your home location when signing up for your membership. Great Job!

I frequent multiple locations due to work. It takes me all over town. So I have to fit in refills where I can. I love the fact that my favorite lash studio is expanding so rapidly. I had my first visit at this location last week and I am impressed as always. They barely had their grand opening and you would never know. Their operation runs so smooth. The staff was friendly and my lashes look amazing as always. I have to say they are consistently clean and friendly and my lashes always look great.
