Went today to try the fish. It was good and plentiful. Husband had Salmon patty dinner and said they were very good. Our waiter Fulton was very polite and had very good manners. Very pleased with todays visit.

I have had several bad experiences at this Cracker Barrel but not today! It seems they have changed wait staff to a more mature staff that seems to care about there customers. The service was great and the food was good as it should be. If this continues this will again be a good stop on my travels. The only reason they didn’t get a 5 star was they need to prove that this quality of food and service is now the norm here. Great job at improving!

The food was outstanding along with the customer service! Our waitress was so patient and kind. She was able to give us her opinion on the food regarding what most people liked or ordered. Whenever I visit Pearl, MS again this will be the first restaurant on my list! If you want good food and outstanding customer service visit this restaurant.

Apparently when I was a child, I visited Cracker Barrel. Though, I cannot remember such a time when that every occurred. February 1, 2016, my aunt invited my dad, mum and I for breakfast. Frankly, I was happy to be receiving a free breakfast. I ordered the Good Morning Breakfast with a choice of instant eggs or real eggs. I chose the real eggs: sunny and runny. Also, two slices of turkey bacon, slices of tomatoes, cheesy grits, and a fruit cup. Everything was just OK, nothing extravagantly tasting. If anything, my meal came unseasoned and I had to add lots of salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. Oddly as that sounds, since this is Mississippi and heart of the Deep South; folks down here are known for cooking with TLC. I’m guessing someone requested for this restaurant not to use MSG salt to prepare their meals. Anywho, dang the manager seemed like he had the hots for me because he kept on staring at me nonstop. Every staff member including the manager was rushing with meals on their shoulders and hands. it was definitely a busy morning. I enjoyed shopping in the country store, but the store wasn’t cheap. My mum spotted a candy her mum used to buy when she was a kid.(«Duels») I’d seen some cute rain boots, but for $ 30 they weren’t that cute. Located in Pearl, just near the movie theater.

The shrimp and fish were over cooked and the cornbread undercooked but still edible. However our server Charlotte was top notch. So even though the food the food was only one star, the service was five star. If you visit this Cracker Barrel ask for Charlotte it’ll make your meal worth it

Great meal. Great service. Plenty of southern style dishes. And breakfast all day. Had the Ruben sandwhich with steak fries.

I only come here for the pancakes. I’m a breakfast fanatic.. I’ve only had good experiences here… I wish they had a lite menu. I have a friend who is a diabetic and pregnant.. she found something on the menu but it could be more… anywho.. kudos on the pancakes and other breakfast foods.

This has to be the worst Cracker Barrel in America… I love Cracker Barrel, biscuits n gravy, country fried steak, everything… and this place is not in line with the quality you usually expect. Also, you will wait for a table whenever you go here because half the tables are empty at any given point and the staff seems to really struggle… an good luck getting any jelly under any circumstances, was also told«we’re out of white gravy»…are you serious?!

Well unfortunately, as has been my experience often at Cracker Barrels, the service was exceptionally slow. We waited 9 minutes before I got up and went to the server alley to ask if we had a server. The server at the table next to ours passed several times without checking to see if we had been waited on. Even if our table was not in her section, I would expect workers to be more observant and helpful, not only to their coworkers but to the guests as well. Specifically, Keith could have made the difference. He was the gentleman who sat us, and we then overheard him telling a waitress that he didn’t check on us because«that’s not my table». Perhaps you might let the server who’s section you just sat know they have a table instead of ignoring the situation. On the plus side, our food was very good and the main reason we return consistently to Cracker Barrel.

This was my second time at Cracker Barrel. My first experience was in Jackson, but I heard this location was better. To be honest, I was disappointed. Both locations did not live up to the hype. The service was slow. The were slow to take my order and bring out my food. My hot coffee was served lukewarm… twice. The meal just wasn’t delicious. I did enjoy the Southern experience(cute interior and the attached store) and the sweet iced tea. However, I won’t be coming back again.

This Cracker Barrel hits it out of the park every time. It is becoming my favorite place to eat. The staff does a good job of handling very large crowds. I’ve been seated 15 – 20 minutes when the place was packed with tour buses. The menu always has plenty of options and you can get breakfast anytime of the day. The biscuits are fantastic. When it’s cold outside they keep a fire going in the dining room.

You know what you’re getting when you go to Cracker Barrel so I don’t need to comment on the food selection. I’m giving it three stars because the service is mediocre, the food took awhile to make, and they seemed under staffed for a busy Thursday night. I think they would have been able to make room for more customers if they did a better job with the service from start to finish. My waitress was very sweet so the delay in food wasn’t exactly her fault but she had too many tables assigned and was therefore just unable to give our table the full service you would expect.

I am home recuperating from abdominal surgery and was craving an old comforting food, chicken and dumplings. I was expecting a nice warm bowl of tender dumplings with tender dark and white meat with a good creamy base of sauce to warm my tummy. What I got was thick clumps of bisquit dough(not tasty or tender) with no sauce and boiled chicken tenders. Very disappointed and waste of money. They should be ashamed to even serve this!

I love Cracker Barrel! Although on this visit a trainee spilled sweet tea all over my step daughter. Granted it was her first day and the General Manager did everything in his power to ensure we left as happy customers which we did. Excellent service, great food, reasonable prices and great shopping! Where else can you get old school bubble gum in a mason jar?

So, after the pitiful service at Logans, we left and came to Cracker Barrel. All I have to say is the service is AWESOME here. I have never come into this restaurant and had a bad experience. A+++

It was early morning on the down hill side of a 25 hour drive… and there it was. The familiar sign of a Cracker Barrel, beckoning for me to pit stop and refuel the body and soul. Well, ok… i was tired, hungry, it was good and hit the spot.
