Fixed it cool air from the central a/​c again

I’ve been a long time satisfied customer. Just had my gas steam boiler and hot water heater replaced. As always, the guys did a great job for a good price. Everyone at Clarkstown is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Day after day after day I see the commercial on TV of how Clarkston heating is a family business and how they care for the community and how they are so responsive. Oh Really??? I called on Friday to explain that my air conditioner did not work. i was told that I would get a phone call from «someone» within the hour to assess the problem. Well, it’s been almost 72 hours and still no call. I live in the town and I try to use the business people within the town. I called another company from NJ and they responded in 20 minutes and fixed my problem in 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. That TV commercial is a bunch of bull. I didn’t even get a courtesy phone call. Clarkstown heating and Air Conditioning is dead to me!

If you know how to check your filter, electrical connections & coolant level, don’t call for the a/​c tuneup. Serviceman, who was very pleasant, was here about 15 minutes and that is all he did, other than try to sell me 2 units of coolant at $ 69 or $ 79 apiece. Didn’t check the themostats, didn’t flush the lines. And that cost $ 123.98, with the coupon.

My experience with Clarkstown heating and air conditionIng is not pleasant. We just moved to a new place inNanuet two years ago. The first time we called was for our heating system. They found a problem and suggested to replace a part. They promised that they would call back and let us know the price in a week. But we waited for over two weeks, no one called. instead we called them back three times. They finally gave us an estimate and installed a new part after two months. The second time we called was for our air conditioning turn up. I applied a day off from work to wait for them to come in the afternoon. They called around noon and told me they weren’t coming because of their schedule. I was not happy and request to talk to a manager. The lady on the phone was nasty and not transfer my call. My husband called back and finally talked to a manager. The manager’s reply was that they did not ask us to stay at home. Let’s think about it. Who will open the door for them if nobody at home?!
It is truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced!
