At Double R Guest Ranch, you’ll feel like you’re miles away from civilization, even though you’re just a short drive from Tombstone. Located in Grapevine Canyon, we have over 64,000 acres of lush grasslands and horseback riding trails to explore. Our experienced staff, well-​mannered horses, and the assorted and spectacular terrain make for a incredible horseback riding experience. We offer riding lessons for beginners, and for those more experienced cowboys and cowgirls, advanced lessons that can include roping and western dressage.

While our horseback ­riding program is the ranch’s main attraction, you can also enjoy the riding events that take place in our outdoor arena. These include barrel racing, pole bending, arena obstacle challenges and more.

There is plenty for all ages to do and discover at the Double R Guest Ranch. Guests are invited to explore the entire property, watch horses being trained, hike the miles of trails, ride mountain bikes, pitch horseshoes, test your archery skills, learn how to rope, or after a long day in the saddle enjoy a cold drink in our air conditioned Saloon. At Double R Guest Ranch, you’ll truly experience the cowboy way of life.

Established in 2012.

Ron and his family have been in the guest ranch business in New York for over 25 years. They relocated to Arizona in 2012 to run the Double R Guest Ranch. For over 30 years this family ranch has provided folks from around the world with authentic western ranch vacations. Double R Guest Ranch has developed a reputation for quality Arizona Dude Ranch Vacations.
