History
Established in 2007.
The Stage started its life based on the idea that having an in-house stage would provide the perfect learning environment for students. We were wrong. So we’ve changed. We still have concerts. We still teach everything from classical music to rock and roll. However, we have expanded our program and changed our scheduling structure to benefit more parents and more learning styles. You can record yourself, play in concerts, perform in a recital, form a band, or you can take part in The Achievement Program and receive nationally recognized certification on your instrument. We also have rehearsal space for rent and we are the proud sponsors of the non-profit group Guitars Not Guns. We have fantastic instructors. We also have a lot of programs to help our students progress as quickly as possible. Check us out! Call today.
Meet the Business Owner
Brad C.
Business Owner
Hi, my name is Brad. I began my teaching career at 12 years old when started helping white belts at my Tae Kwon Do studio. I was young, and only a green belt… but I was hooked. Upon graduating UGA where I studied classical guitar performance, I pursued a career in music. That didn’t work out so well and after having a couple of jobs I wasn’t terribly excited about, I started teaching. This time, I taught music. I’ve taught at music stores, Woodward Busey Campus, Eagle’s Nest Homeschool Co-op, Kedron Aquatic and Recreation Center, and out of my home. After eight years of teaching, I decided to open The Stage so that I could gather resources for my students to provide them a better lesson experience than was available. We continue to push ourselves, our equipment list, and our programs to make sure we are offering the best lessons and opportunities available. Ok well some of our music toys are probably just here because I like them. But you can still use them. See how that works?
