Stopped in here for lunch. Pulled pork was good. Seemed weird that brisket isn’t available until 4. Sides were good too. Regarding those remote ordering stations on the tables, someone needs to actually clean them with windex and not just a wet rag because they were all completely smudged and filthy.

Started coming here for the last couple months and had an overall great experience. Service was always spotty but we enjoyed the food and drinks. Seems like we were really lucky, until tonight. My wife and I came here for an easy Valentine’s Day dinner. I ordered a pulled pork plate and my wife ordered the loaded bbq burger, ordered medium. When she cut into it the burger was purple on the inside and we asked our waiter for a new MEDIUM cooked burger. 30 minutes later, I am already done, we receive her second burger and was told we would be comped for our meal. Happy ending? Not so much. The 2nd burger we received was cooked on the outside and completely raw on the inside… cold…grimey…disgusting. By this time the manager came over, saw the burger, and told us he would take care of everything. The waiter returned a few minutes later asking if we wanted any dessert on the house. We said no thanks and waited for another 30 minutes. The waiter came over and argued with us saying we didn’t order anything else so nothing was coming out. My wife, very hungry, requested the manager again, who didn’t come back after the first time, to figure out what was going on. She requested the burger, without the ground beef, to take home. Already an hour and a half later, we left the restaurant and will not return. Service, food, experience all very poor. If you come to Smokey Bones, check your food before you eat it. You might be going home sick.

Absolutely avoid this place. I went with a party of 5 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. They were out of brisket and turkey. How can you be a BBQ place and be out of two key meats?! Then we were told a salad was also unavailable, and then it magically was available again. The service was incredible slow, and when we finally did get our food it was cold and had to be sent back. Plus, the restaurant was freezing. Turn up the heat, please! This was probably the worst dining experience of my life. Stay far away from here.

Food was ok not the best and overpriced. Service was horrible, tables were filthy we had to wipe down our own before we sat down Our server was so slow. We ordered 3 bottles of IBC cream soda. They were not very cold, she brought them with glass mugs without any ice! Will never be going back to this location

I guess I’m just a glutton for punishment. Love the food here. But dear God is this place a mess. I feel really bad for the one bartender who has a full bar right now and zero support. She is killing it. Where are the managers??? Someone should be helping this poor girl. Guarantee the managers are sitting In The office with no clue how busy she is. This place is always a total disaster and the girl bartending right now could do so much better.

Stay away! Smokey Bones belongs in the graveyard of failed restaurant concepts. Barely trained staff followed by the worst, poorly prepared chain food. Spend your cash somewhere else!

I CAN’T WITHTHISPLACE. To start, there was no hostess working, so we sat at the bar. Even though there were very few people there, after 15 minutes, no one came over to us, and thankfully there was a couple next to us who flagged down the manager to take our order. Three of us ordered two bottles beers, and one corona-Rita. She eventually came back with one beer, and two waters, claiming that the bar tender had to make the mixed drinks because she couldn’t. When we informed her that one of the drinks was actually supposed to be a beer, she seemed confused. She seemed very overwhelmed and didn’t know any of the inventory, so after 15 more minutes, she came back and said they were out, so we just ordered a beer on tap. The mixed drink still wasn’t coming(we joked that it would be easier if we just went behind the bar and made it, and that no one would notice anyways), and about 10 more minutes later, the bartender comes back with a mini bottle of corona and no margarita to put it in. When we questioned her about it, she apologized, but didn’t offer to make the margarita, so we just closed out our tab and left-later we realized that she actually charged us for the margarita, but we were so done with that place that we just left. Just don’t go – terrible service, and not worth it.

If you thought Buffalo Wild Wings was the worst food chain in the US, be prepared for a special surprise. This. Place. Is. Horrendous. The service was abismal. They ran out of silverwear for 10 minutes(we almost used our water straws as chopsticks). The beer came with 1 – 2 inches missing off the top and tasted flat. They also screwed up an order and they ran out of a side on a Wednesday night(mac n cheese). What restaurant runs out of a side on a Wednesday night? The food wasn’t horrible, but is that really a compliment? No, its not. I give them six months before they are gone. What a disappointment.

Absolute joke!!! Went there last Tuesday with a friend of mine. We sat ourselves at the bar and waited approximately 20 min before we were even acknowledged. We had to grab our own menus and orderd two draft beers. The waitress served my friend hers and then walked around the bar for 15 minutes unable to find another glass. When she did find a glass I could tell it had not been washed properly. She assured me it had. We put our food order In And asked if we could have the area we were sitting at wiped down. The bar tender acknowledged then walked off. I took a sip of my beer and it was gross. I could tell the glass still had soap or what ever in it. Our food came out and again we asked if we could get our area wiped down, again the bar tender said yes then walked away. So we sat there for 10 minutes and then asked for place settings we had never received. Sooooooo in the 45 minutes to a hour of being there, I got severed a beer in a dirty glass, never handed menus or had our area wiped down, never given place setting or asked if anything was ok! In fact they even served us the wrong food. NOW I would of complained but it appeared it was staff Xmas party and everyone one was extremely inebriated. People off shift were walking in and out of the kitchen, it seemed they did not have the B or C team in but the F team. There was 0 effort given. The customers sat there while they gossiped and paid more attention to hiking their friends up then a paying customer. Now I have gone there frequently in the past and it’s bad but never this bad! I would call and complain but when you can’t get the fundamentals of cleaning a bar top and serving beverages in clean glass where, you don’t care anyways!

If Hooters and Texas Roadhouse had a baby it would be Smokey Bones. The Smoked wings are insanley good, but the rest of the food is just ehh. The selection of beers at the bar is solid but the bartenders are so so. I like how they have multiple bottles of different BBQ sauce instead of just ketchup on the table. Wednesday nights Corn-Hole games are played and they add to the atmosphere. Im a Fan(go for the smoked wings)

I tried this place 3 times and each time was so horrible. Service: While the first time wasn’t so bad, the server was a bit pushy and made splitting the check more complicated than it should’ve been. I work at a restaurant so maybe I look at things a bit differently. The second time the server was so bad. She was swearing, forgot our drinks twice, and don’t even think about a refill. Didn’t see her at all. I don’t think she even brought out any of our food nor did she check up on us. We even tried to paid on the kiosk because we didn’t feel like waiting for her. Food: I really want to like the food, but it just isn’t good. Plates barely come with fries, the wings are small and not that great, the pulled pork is so dry, and the food takes a long time.

While our server and the drinks were great, this place is really just the Applebee’s of BBQ. It’s to BBQ what Olive Garden is to Italian food. Even Tennessee BBQ down the street, while not even close to being impressive, is better and more authentic than this place. I know it’s a chain and I never expect much from those but I’ve been twice now, tried a few different things, and all of those things have left me thinking, «meh it’s food.» Another review on here mentioned that the employee reviews hinged(partly?) upon the survey at the end of the payment process on those little electronic kiosks. I hope that’s not the case, they may want to discontinue that practice or keep all questions related specifically to the service and not the food.

Great atmosphere It’s a live place very exciting lots going on Still family friendly Clean environment Always more than enough seating but still busy The people that work there seem to be having fun and actually enjoy their time there Flat screen tv’s are everywhere with all sorts of sports on. Food comes out fast, hot, and tasty Great food great prices Chicken buffalo dip can’t go wrong Dip comes with a boatload of warm crispy tortilla chips that’s are lightly salted to perfection The dip has chunks of lightly battered white meat chicken breast that are lightly fried the cheese sauce is where the spicy buffalo kicks in its a perfect dip consistency with a melted blend of cheeses baked on top and to top it off crumbles of blue cheese to make it stand out. More than enough for 2 hungry adults to Share CROWDPLEASER (Missing the pulled pork on the nachos but I didn’t get charged the 99 cents so it’s all good) It was still tasty none the less Nachos could’ve benefitted from some nacho cheese sauce but the mild salsa and melted cheese blend was good enough The onion rings were nice and crispy but light batter made it great the perfectly cut and cooked sweet onion on the inside was so tasty The chicken tenders(3) were tasty Loaded fries had there tasty fries a little bit of bbq sauce melted blend of shredded cheese and bacon bits

11⁄21 – back again, but for the first time dining in. Waited about 30 mins, it was pretty busy. Once I was seat probably waited about 5 mins to order drinks. I had 2 drinks, a pineapple express and the triple rum punch. Both very good, could taste the liquor in both, neither were watered down or lacking alcohol. Ordered the crowd pleaser app. nachos were a bit saugy, fries were really good, melted cheese, bacon, bbq sauce.yum. onion rings were nice and crunchy. Chicken fingers were… eh. Choice Sirloin steak was cooked as ordered, nice and tender/juicy. Full rack of ribs were also very good, nice smoked taste, with the perfect bite, not falling all over the place or requiring a ton of work just to get a good bite. Downside to the dinner was that there were no napkins at the table and they forgot my silverware so I had to ask for some… and wait for it to come. … _Also, we came for the brisket which was amazing last time we ordered it and, they were all out. I was shocked, they only start serving it at 4 ok and by 8 they were already out??? Or maybe someone didn’t cook it, but was very disappointed and will definitely call ahead next time to make sure it’s still available. ________ I came back to review, only to note a few things. One, great customer service from Stephen. And noticed while waiting for my food, that a girl that worked there, was strolling around in circles, clearly with nothing to do, yet she couldn’t pick up the phone. No wonder when I tried to call ahead noone picked up. I could hear someone from out back yelling to her to pick it up as she was standing right in front of it. Her response«it stopped ringing.» Now how shitty is that. Also, they have all sorts of different bbq sauces there and last time I was there, I asked the woman what one of the sauces was, and I got«I have no idea,» this time, Stephen was able to describe the sauces to me. He was very knowledgeable.

GF and I went before a party. It’s a huge place on the backside of the mall. A huge bar and 2 separate seating sides. They also have an outdoor seating area with a big TV. Lots of TV’s throughout. Our server was Twerkintam. She did a great job and had lots of energy. We ordered the fried pickles app. They were very good. We split a rib combo with smoked turkey and rice and corn. If your serious about barbeque this probably isn’t the place for you. Tastes like corporate bbq. It seems like a great place to watch a game though.

So bad I reset my Unilocal password to write this review. Maybe OK if you’re in your 20’s and out late at night; very disappointing if you are there to try the barbeque. We expected it would be corporate, consultant-driven barbeque, but the food was just not good and took forever. Ribs are tiny, and even the skinny margarita was way too sweet. Extra cost sides and even higher priced«premium sides» are confusing. Our server was great, but embarrassed by the product she served and the delays in the kitchen(at 300 pm for a late lunch). It would be a tough to answer for that food all day, a difficult place to work. Server told us her employment reviews relied in part on responses to the survey generated by the check machine, and would only help her if all the questions got the highest rated answer. BUT the first question was«did the restaurant meet our goals of ???» We were put in the position of wanting to be nice to the server, but we just couldn’t tell the restaurant it was great. This would be the kind of place that would send those results up the management chain so the CEO thinks the customers love it. We gave up on the survey, left a nice tip, and my wife took the time to talk to the manager, who pretty much agreed with all of the above and was useless.

See my last 2 reviews for full description on the food. This review is soley about the wings. This place is supposed to compete with buffalo wild wings and hooters when it comes to wings. This is not accurate. Wings here are either smoked or fried. While the smoked wings are cooked well, they are very very sweet. Our party was split about the taste. But it was unanimous that they’re regular wings were very undercooked and close to inediable. Chewy and undercooked wings after waiting over a half hour is unacceptable. This is not a place for wings.

I feel like it should actually be better here. The smoked wings are outstanding — sweet, smokey, and savory. But the entrees are kinda crap. I haven’t had anything here I’ve loved that much. If you’re coming here for wings, appetizers and some cocktails, it’s a fantastic spot and very social. Families will like it, too, as there is table side entertainment in the form of a pre-loaded tablet allowing kids to play games, or interact with others through trivia and more. You go here more for the fun than for the meal.

Was not impressed at all with Smokey Bones. I know there is a location in Nashua and I’ve heard it gets rave reviews, but the Northshore spot leaves a lot to be desired. Met some friends here for a quick drink; they had already ordered dinner and I was just popping by. I pulled up a chair to their table and perused the menu while waiting to be served. Cut to, oh, I don’t know, maybe 10 or 15 years later and I still have yet to be acknowledged by the waitress covering our table. The guys’ food comes out and the server STILL doesn’t even ask if I want anything. I understand it was probably just a bus boy but CMON. I’m sitting here with no food, no drink, and you just put plates down and bounce? I nibbled at my friends’ meals — the fries were okay, the nachos were okay, nothing was mindblowing, everything was kind of soggy — and not just because I got there later than them. Finally got a drink, stuck with a cider, which was fine and well-priced at around $ 6. I found the lighting to be WAY too bright, the atmosphere was weird(is this a bar? is this a family restaurant? what are we doing here…), and it was like a Texas Roadhouse Wannabe without the yummy butter, dim lighting, and actually delicious food. Total miss.

I’ve only come here during times that aren’t so busy, so I have yet to encounter any issues. My meals are usually pretty good. We always get the large order of smoked wings. I suggest you eat it all there since they aren’t that great taste wise when you take them home. It’s kind of an odd flavor. Sometimes during the lunch hour they let you order from the dinner menu. There are some exceptions stated in the menu that can’t be ordered until after 4pm though. Service is decent. Orders are prompt. I’ve always had a very attentive waitress. There is also a kiosk system on each table where you can order food and pay for your meal via card. This is very convenient as it also calculates your tip. Swipe, tap, and(finger) sign!
