Cantonese and Sichuan/​Szechuan, Chinese dishes and specialties. Seafood, Poultry, Vegetarian & Tofu, Pork, and Beef options are available. We have amazing Lo Mein. All homemade and delicious. We have been serving our community since 2001 and our customers are our #1 priority. We have several Lunch Specials under $ 10 from 11:30am to 3:00pm and we do those 7 Days a Week. History

Established in 2001.

Mr. Hung opened Hung’s Kitchen in 2001. After he passed away, his wife took over and retired in Dec. 2013 passing the restaurant over to their good friend and current owner Howard. The menu and recipes have stayed the same — and Howard continues to offer the community of Peabody a homemade and delicious Chinese food experience.

Chinese take-​out restaurants in different regions seem to do things a little differently. This review is really for people not from this area so they know what to expect:
— White rice doesn’t come with the entrees, you have to ask (and pay) for it
— Fried wontons don’t have any meat inside, it’s a carton of fried wonton skin
— No plastics bag with your take-​out, only paper bag
— No hot sauce, only hot mustard
Otherwise the food was good and fast.

When I moved into my new home, I wanted to try the local restaurants. Craving Chinese, I found Hungs Kitchen about 2 blocks from me. I was not disappointed! Chicken fingers were slightly on the oily side, but the egg rolls were great. Of all the Chinese places I’ve been to, Hungs and Jades are the only places that know how to make an egg roll. Tried a few other sides and some vegetarian dishes too. Everything was wonderful and I will be coming here next time I want Chinese.

I was in Peabody to watch the football game with my family, so we ordered delivery from Hungs Kitchen, which arrived right on schedule — 4:30 around halftime.
We got Pu Pu platters, low mein, and lobster sauce.
Everyone in our party of 6 was happy with the food.
We would order from Hungs Kitchen again. It’s our go to chinese food place in Peabody.

For the most part this place has been excellent but of the last 4 times I have gone I have yet to see «Mr. Hung» Only see his wife which is not a big deal but he was always nice and personable.
They have the best Pork Wonton Soup, the Hot and Sour isnt too bad as well. The Garlic Beef is amazing as well.
And the best is the Teriyaki Bites!

The food here is good. The service is average and the price is average also.
My recommendation is a dinner combo. my personal fave is the beef and mushroom. The portions are substantial, so you WILL have lunch all set for the next day. With the combos you will also get an appetizer. The crab rangoon has a good flavor, but I prefer the chicken wings.
All in all a really good place to eat.

While it’s not the best I ever had, I frequent Hungs about once a month and have never had bad food there. Their spicy chicken wings are meaty and tasty!

Just don’t go there.
When I arrived at hung kitchen, they gave me my food and I asked for hot mustard, they said it’s in the bag. I got back to the office… surprise no hot mustard that was just the beginning
.
Then, pork fried rice was over cooked and burnt, chicken fingers tasted like grease, bbq spare ribs were dry and tasteless.
My friend got the lobster sauce and chicken fingers, the sauce was cold congealed gunk. She threw the whole thing out.
If there was negative stars, I would give them 5 all the way!
