The service in here varies with who is working. Sometimes, you have to wait until the cashier is done chatting with either their friends or one of their coworkers before they’ll actually take the time to ring you up. And of course, when they do, they barrage you with offers to sign up for their rewards card($ 15/year — kinda pricey for my tastes, since a lot of stores offer rewards cards for free), and offers to reserve any upcoming titles. While I appreciate the fact that they allow people to reserve upcoming titles ahead of time, I think they need to be a little less aggressive on offering that service. The employees see me in there often enough that they should know that I know about the service and how it works, and yet I get the full speech and explanation of everything every time I buy something. It’s kind of irritating. If Toys R Us or Target had a better selection of games, I’d probably never come here.
