The two stars is for the toys. This is the closest store to my house, and every time I come I regret it. This is the third time in a row they didn’t have a basic baby item I needed. And whenever j ask for help nobody can help me. They just keep passing me off. I’m especially upset because I received a car seat set when my son was born for a car seat, base, stroller combo for an infant where the car seat snaps into the stroller. It also came with an infant seat that snaps into the stroller. I needed the base that went with the infant car seat to put it in my car. The man I spoke with STUNK of cigarettes. I suppose he was smoking while I waited over 20 for someone to help me. He then proceeded to tell me what I wanted didn’t exist. I know it exists because I’ve seen it and my sister had the same one for my nephew. A little aggravated I passed the store manager and he asked me if I needed help. When I asked him he said he had heard of it but it wasn’t a babies r us item it’s buy buy baby specific. I thanked him and I’m not sure why the smoker wouldn’t pass me to the store manager(Tim I think) in the first place. Have this place 5 chances and j will not be back.

Eh. The other babies in Peabody is much better as its a larger store, but that’s not to say anything about Babies. I generally feel like they are useless. They don’t hire employees who have ANY knowledge about children or products related to infants and the only reason I go here is because of our baby registry. They have unfortunately dominated the market and Target, although amazing, just doesn’t offer everything that babies does. However even with their vast amount of product, I won’t shop here after the baby is born unless it’s entirely necessary. I can find better, cheaper and cuter items on etsy, amazon and Walmart for our everyday products. After this whole process I’m thinking a universal registry would’ve been easier than dealing with these inept employees(at both Woburn and Peabody, however Woburn seems far worse).

It’s smaller than our babies r us at home. However it seems to have a lot more packed into it. I like how it’s organized and has a more sophiscated side to it.

Great staff. Great selection. We were greeted by 4 people within the first 5 minutes of our visit. Not typical for a babies r us!

Love Babies R Us & Love that everytime I go to this one it is mostly Dead, so I can roam about & shop with out the stress of a crowded store… Always find a good deal, but I am a Coupon Whore, so thats usually why!

It’s a Babies ‘R’ Us. Here are some specific observations. Store is generally clean and well stocked. Prices are high on some items compared to the internet, but 20% off an item coupons are readily available. Registry service is no muss, no fuss. Their info classes are kinda useless, especially the car seat one, where you watch a video and then they try to sell you a carseat. Their return policy for registry items is great. They’ve allowed us to return things from our registry well past the 90 days in their written policy.

Stopped off here well in the area to pick up a few things and this store is set up strange. It is located in a large shopping center off 114 in Peabody. First off it is a smaller Babies R Us, and looks like it used to be something else like a smaller department store that closed. The departments are clearly identified but kind of set up weird. The staff is helpful and it looks like there are plenty of them. They even help an item for me to pickup. Not the best one I have been to but still less busier then Framingham.

I come from a family with 5 kids, so I’ve been around when it comes to Babies R US, and this is the nicest location I’ve been to in five states. I had to go to pick up some items for a baby shower, and was in and out in 10 minutes. The registry machine worked like a charm, and I had a wonderfully helpful associate find me the items on the registry(it’s kind of hard to find the right one when the description is «Boy Bib: Sku 123456789354»). When I went to pay, the scanner wasn’t working, and the cashier quickly transferred me to a different one that did work – which I SO appreciated since I was on my way to the shower then. They also have a wrapping station with tape, scissors, rolls of paper and more, which is perfect for the time-strapped customer, or the one who doesn’t want to buy an entire roll of wrapping paper they won’t use for another two years. Makes the whole experience just right!
