Timber Tree Service

These guys are terrible and the owner Carl is a joke. How this man is in business is beyond me.
I had a company (cut above tree service) quote my job and they did an amazing quote. They sent me references, their COI and the arbor’s license. However it was a Thursday and I wanted to get the job done that day. Timber Tree said hey I will do it today as I have time and will do it for $ 800. It was $ 175 cheaper, these are two huge red flags that I should have seen. Carl the owner had his crew come out and it quickly went down hill. As they finished up the job they broke my walkway and two slabs on my driveway. We called Carl and asked him to come back and look at what his team did. Unfortunately I was at work so I had my fiancé handle the issue. He came out and said we didnt do that to your drive way it was already done. In shock, my fiancé just looked at in disbelief. She quickly showed him the different color in the stone and that this had to be a new crack. He quickly started to back pedal saying well its an old drive way and we could have try to be more careful but we didnt think it matter as it was an old house. I personally couldnt believe he would say that. He quickly yelled at her and stormed off in his truck. I then called him and try to understand why he didnt think he did it. his response was «Your not getting a dime and I dont care.» We discussed how the walkway stone was brand new and there is no way we could have cracked that. his response «Well you already bought a new stone to fix it so it doesnt matter.»
Needless to say you will see my comments on BBB and I will be going after this company. Please do yourself a favor avoid this company. Any questions or comments before you make a huge mistake email me
