A and I Electric

A&I Electric was sent by another company to repair some damage to our footlights they had done while painting the house. While here A&I Electric asked if there was anything else that I might need repaired/​upgraded. After all it would be less expensive since he was here just to add on another task. I needed a flood light repaired and asked for a quote. The electrician set off to buy a new flood light fixture. He called from the warehouse to let me know the quote would be higher and I agreed. After the work was done I looked over the bill and noticed the math was $ 20.00 off in his favor. I called to notify him that his math was incorrect and could he mail a check for the $ 20.00 as soon as it was convenient. He asked to see the bill — (yes, HIS bill). I copied it and sent it off. I did this 3 more times before I gave up. I realize $ 20.00 is not a lot of money BUT it is very poor business practice — honest mistake or not, not to rectify the error.
In an aside, the floodlight installation was no less expensive but that is totally on me for believing it would be.
