Eastern Hay’s 30-​year history of providing hay, grain and shavings to some of the top athletes in the business speaks for itself. From Olympic medalists to government agencies, zoos and international customers, Eastern Hay serves them all. As the forage supplier for the Central Park Horse Show, we were part of an historic, game-​changing event.

The northeast region’s premier producer/​dealer and broker we deliver what your horses need to be healthy, happy and perform at their best. Offering a variety of hays ranging from premium Western and Canadian hay (alfalfa, timothy and an alfalfa/​timothy mix) to locally produced grass and orchard hay, our products include 45 pound «kicker» bales, 65 pound commercial bales, 600 pound square bales and 1000 pound round bales. In addition we carry both large and small flake shavings, in paper or plastic bags, at 2.8, 3.0 and 3.5 cubic foot sizes.

Chris Johnson, Eastern Hay’s owner, has spent his life learning about farming and hay. Sharing his vast knowledge with his three sons, he allows the family to work together to produce and procure the best quality hay year-​round.
