It was the perfect stop at the right time. Food is hot and tasty. I would have taken a picture of my plate but my face was in it! Lol

Had a great meal, pork chops with rice and beans for $ 6 and $ 1 beef empanadas! Looks like a hole in the wall, but the food was delicious and cheap. Good find especially for Paterson, NJ.

I’ve driven past this place so many times and have always wondered if they served the chimi sandwiches I used to get all the time in Union City. I finally went in last night to find out and holy hell they sell great chimi’s! For only $ 3.50! That’s cheap as hell! Plus they’re open late on weekends, til 4am on Friday and Saturday night. It was near 2am and I had been drinking, so I was pretty hungry. Plus, I was with Dobbs so naturally we were gonna be eating a lot. We each started with a solid chicken chimi sandwich, and with the low prices, we could not say no to anything that entered our minds as potentially delicious. To the amusement of the guys behind the counter, we proceeded to order some pork bbq, chicken and beef empanadas, chicharones, platanos, and fried sweet potatoes. It was all so good! The sweet potatoes and platanos were surprisingly good, especially since I have a general dislike of them. The Dominican soda I had was good too. I can’t remember the name of it at the moment, but I felt like i was eating really well for something open at 2am. Definitely wanna come back, only trouble is that it’s not in the best neighborhood to be in at 2am. Eh, I’ll just come earlier.

This place by first glance is not somewhere you might think about stopping at but you should. The food is great and cheap. The fried plantains and sweet potatoes are great, chicken skewers are good and the beef empenadas are excellent and only a dollar. I will be going back here.
