Very trashy place. Definite dive bar. Some of the things that go on here are similar to what you might expect to go on in a truck stop in a mid west state or something.

Although I’ve never been inside, the impression I get is that upon entering you will be briskly initiated by taking part in a real life reenactment of The Deer Hunter ‘Russian roulette’ scene, replete with guys who resemble Kenny’s dad on South Park yelling «Diddy mao» with thick Long Island accents and the musky aroma of stale Coors Light on their breath. Upon survival you will chant «gooble gobble one of us» with the denizens of Jillys. Legend has it that once a year they sacrifice a stranger in the parking lot in order to increase the years bounty of Skoal products.

Can’t believe this place is here lol well its a true dive bar Can be sketchy but you feel kind of safe ., they do not take credit cards or debit but there is a atm there. good prices on beer happy hour seems to last forever here. Draft beer can be sketchy here but stick to bud light draft. Bartenders are very nice. 3 stars as a dive

Men of the world shoot stick and enjoy «theater-​in-​the-​round cocktails» around Jilly’s bang-​up half-​circle bar: A «blue collar vibe» of the «common-​man» exudes that Barton Fink feeling that we all look for in a Medford dive. As Douglas L. points out, this place is a regular stop-​in for «black market dealers», from whom you can sometimes score anything from an «eightball» to a shrinkwrapped ribeye to a sterling silver ring, depending on the «transient» gypsy and night. Flirty «bartempresses» and a fine climate for one who seeks the unexpected.. . A pull-​in-​the-​back parking lot w/​back door accessibilty, if you want to keep a low profile.

There is usually an uncomfortable vibe from the locals that come in if you are not one yourself. You’ll have a good time anyway
Happy hour offers food at times.
Frequent stops in from a DVD Bootlegger or local Jewelry maker who will size you up for pricing. Maybe you’ll get a pair of pants or even a steak someone stole from meat farms across the street (this really happened once).”
