Sunrun

Off to a poor start with SunRun as we work to decide who we want to work with on our Solar installation. We were in Costco three weeks ago and saw that SunRun has partnered with Costco to provide solar installation services and decided to get an estimate to purchase our solar system through the Costco/​SunRun program.
They scheduled an appointment with us for 3 weeks out based on my availability. I asked the SunRun rep at Costco to send a representative who knows what they are doing and is reliable. So they set up an appointment for us with a sales rep from SunRun to meet with us at our property on Saturday, ⁹⁄₁₉.
But I got a call from the sales rep on Tuesday, ⁹⁄₁₅ saying he can’t make it on Saturday because he has a personal commitment. I can understand that people have personal commitments. But this appointment has been scheduled for 3 weeks and I set aside time on my Saturday too. This experience with SunRun suggests that the sales person’s time is more important than my time, and he/​SunRun prioritizes the customer last.
The thing that really bothers me is that the sales rep kept making excuses and kept stating that I should make myself available on a different day. All this only reinforces that my time is less valuable than his.
I have lots of companies to choose from for our solar installation. This experience with SunRun may just be a precursor for the experience we would have if we were to choose them as our solar provider/​installer.
It is unfortunate. I am sure Costco would not want to be associated with a company who provides a poor customer experience.
