How about movie night at home? Johns video Palace carries a wide variety of movies. Just see Tori, she’s really a movie critic. Lol it totally amazes me how much more she can tell you about a movie inside and out. You can’t go wrong with Tori, she’s fun and knows her movies! You can’t go wrong at John’s video Palace!

Its great when you walk into a video rental place and talk about some really old and obscure movies and everyone knows what you are talking about. the staff knows there stuff and are always willing to help out. it is easier for us to rent on-​line or even stream the movie from the web but we still come here cause its a local business and the service we receive is outstanding.

I come here monthly with a friend to pick up videos. The area is small, but spacious. It’s incredibly clean and the staff is mostly high school kids. I have always received friendly and personable service from the staff. Even on the busiest of days I still get asked if I’d like help with anything with a smile on their face. A+ for that.
I rated this as ‘A-​OK’ because it’s a solid place to go when you want to nostalgia trip yourself back into the days of Blockbuster and Hollywood Videos.

Seriously. I spent A LOT OF MONEY at johns. I love john. But whoever was working this evening on a Sunday night… female…needs to be fired. She was telling children they were disgusting and apparantly was too pissy to answer anyones questions. Seriously? We left our videos and walked out among many many others. John… get rid of that one.

I’m a consistent customer. My kids love the selection. The staff are very nice. The late fees are high but — don’t be late.— I know I have paid a few large fees. BUT my fault.

I refuse to give them any stars. Got charged 6.00 dollars for being late one hour as well as 28 for a week. Major rip off. General support is minimal, don’t waste your money at an establishment like this when you have, Netflix, hulu and red box. As well as I asked them to remove my account and they cannot remove your name out of their data base and where you lived. So not only are their ridiculous charges but they hold your information and according to the workers «we can blank out som info but we can not blank out your number, what city you lived in and your name.» I would avoid this place at all cost.

We rent about two videos a month here. Pretty good selection and the employees are nice. I’m glad we have an independent video place here in Paso. My only complaint is that the older videos are nearly as expensive as the new releases. I think the store would make more money on volume if they lowered the price on renting older videos.

I really do love to support a local business, and this is one of our faves. While it is cheaper to stream a movie online you can’t get customer service the way you can here. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
