Davis Water Conditioning

I just moved into a new home with a soft water system already installed with a Davis Water Conditioning sticker on it. I’ve always lived in apartments up to this point, so I didn’t know how to use it.
They were able to put me on the phone with a technician (his name was Joshua) and he explained how the system worked and what I need to do to ensure it’s running well. He did it over the phone and was very knowledgeable and courteous with me.

So knowledgable and helpful! Willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They turn Paso’s terrible hard water into perfectly drinkable right from the tap! I wouldn’t go anywhere but Davis for my water needs!

Davis water conditioning has been servicing our shop for around 17 years now. When ever there is an issue with our system they are there to fix it nearly immediately. Fast, low-​cost, and reliable. Every once in a while they’ll stop by just to say hi and make sure everything is running smoothly.
I highly recommend their service!

Davis Water Conditioning has been great taking our sulfur out of our water. We had to dig a new well and got sulfur water however, Davis Water Conditioning is doing great with the RO system and follow up with us is great.

Avoid Davis water conditioning! They took our money and then were not available to service the RO system that didn’t work after a mere 6 months. When we did get their attention to the matter, the owner left us a really nasty voice mail message and blamed us for the problem their RO system was experiencing. We ended up not being able to use the unit, $ 600 later.

I recently had Davis water conditioning install a new water softener there staff is very knowledgable and did a fantastic install for us. There prices were very competitive of other company’s I called before choosing Davis water. I have know of there great reputation And will always give them a great recommendation. thanks Davis water

Follow through was horrible. the guy that installed our system was nice, but didn’t seem to know everything he needed to know to be a quality installer. I was not provided wiht any paperwork relating to our system (ie; a manual!) and we will probably have to call in another company to make sure things are correct. Very frustrating!

This business lacks professionalism. I called to have my reverse osmosis serviced at my rental home. I expressed to the receptionist, Andrea that this was a rental home and to coordinate a time with my tenant but to bill me for service and advise ME ONLY on parts and/​or additional repair fees that would be in addition to their whopping $ 125 service call. The next day, I received a call from my tenant explaining in a voicemail that Davis Water couldn’t come out until I authorized a $ 75 membrane part fee. She also stated she was informed of the $ 125 service fee I was incurring… UMM hello?! Why are you even involving the tenant in the financial aspect. It wasn’t until an hour later that Davis Water left me voicemail stating that the replacement part would be $ 85 and that I needed to authorize service. So my second gripe is with the discrepancy in price that was quoted to my tenant then left on my voicemail. After speaking with the owner, Steve Davis, he said he went ahead and met with the tenant to make repairs since she had authorization from me. So, what was the purpose of even calling me if you were just going on the word of my tenant to make repairs? I was about to cancel service only to find out it had already been performed. Subsequently I found another local business that would have come out to do the work needed for only $ 35 and roughly another $ 35 for the membrane replacement. Quite a difference in price!!! OH and I was later informed by the tenant that the service person who came out to the home was trying to pressure her into just replacing the unit entirely. Why are you giving a sales pitch to the tenant?!

Davis Water is a business to be avoided. There are other comparable companies in the area that are far better. The service was rushed, repairs were suggested that were not needed, the service people were rude and lacked professionalism, and the owner was unclear on pricing. If you want good service from a reliable company, it’s best to look elsewhere.
