The vision in opening Brushed Salon and Day Spa was to have a full service salon offering everything from head to toe, but also keeping a cozy feel that makes every guest feel comfortable and pampered. Our team of dedicated professionals are highly skilled with cutting-​edge hair color applications and top notch clinical skin care. We are committed to training and education and provide outstanding creative excellence!

Established in 2011.

Brushed Salon and Day Spa opened their doors December of 2011 and quickly grew to be a busy and well-​known Beauty Salon in Paso.

Business Owner

Nikki, owner of Brushed Salon and Day Spa and stylist, is a true Paso Robles entrepreneur. She started her career as a stylist and quickly became to owner of 2 salons. It has been her dream to achieve her goal as a Master Hair Dresser. A professional stylist for over 8 years, Nikki uses hair as her canvas, bringing a distinctive glamorous and fresh approach to grasp out each client’s unique beauty. «Hair is my art and I love transforming my guest from the time they walk in, to the completed vision.»

Mastering skills in cutting, coloring, and styling, Nikki’s love for the beauty industry has driven her to bring world class hair dressing and a luxurious spa experience to the central coast.

I had a wonderful experience with Lacey Davis today. I had a cut and color and it was to my expectations. There was no wait time I was able to make an appointment able to get in right before Christmas which is difficult around the holiday season. I found the service in the salon to be very personable I will be returning as a customer and asking for Lacey.

What’s a Woman to Do! I recently went to my final hair appointment with Marilyn the day before I move out of the area to Florida. Marilyn was the only hair dresser in Paso that I would trust to cut my hair. She is absolutely the best stylist I have been to and will truly miss her and her cuts.

Had my hair done by Jen B. for the first time. I was so happy to see her work online and get a referral from a friend. I had been quite disappointed with my last few hair appointments at other salons up north. Jen blew me away! She got right back to me, offered competitive pricing and listened to exactly what I wanted for my high lights and low lights. She created the most beautiful balayage on me and I was sooooo happy with the results. Jen is not only kind and professional but very talented too! She will be my go to gal from now on!

For being a first time client at Brushed Salon with Jen Bernal it was a very uncomfortable & disappointing experience. Giving her an everyday task for my hair turned out to be a unfixable disaster. Working in a confined area with multiple woman can be challenging but that isn’t a reason to announce it to newcomers. The environment she created for a first time client was unfortunate and I will not be returning to brushed salon for any other services.

I love Jen Bernal at Brushed Salon. I’ve had her cut and style my long hair for over a year now and can’t imagine going to anyone else! She’s a total pro and does an amazing job. She has the pedigree of a big city stylist (she’s a grad from the revered Paul Mitchell School down in the OC) but she is so down to earth! I have high expectations when it comes to stylists and have not been disappointed by Jen. You won’t be disappointed either!

I went to Brushed salon & day spa for my first time to get my hair cut. I had a fabulous hairdresser her name was Tiffani. She was funny and sarcastic & incredibly talented. I’ve never been so happy with my cut & color :) I will absolutely be back to see her & I’m a huge fan of the prices the atmosphere and overall experience. Totally recommend it 100%!!

Wow Lacey was wonderful! I was going out of town and she got me in the same day. My hair is wavy and she did a great job with my hair cut. They are really pleasant there and there was no judgement for my snipping at my own hair, of course l did own it.
I am excited to go back to get my hair cut again which is saying a lot for me. I appreciate that Lacey listened to what l wanted and gave me a great look.

I was in desperate need of a new haircut so I went in to visit Citlali. I’m really glad I did, she did an amazing job! The products she used made my hair feel really healthy. The layers she gave me worked really good with my hair. She’s really friendly and knowledgeable. Over all I was very happy with the service that she gave me. Definitely can’t wait to go back in and get a trim!

Sara Ramey is one of the nail techs at Brushed and she did a fab job on my nails. They specialize in Rockstars and that just so happened to be exactly what I was looking for! I chose an Eastery color, a pastelish periwinkle blueish color. And oh my, do they sparkle! They look great. Thank you Sara! I cannot wait until I can try the many other colors you offer!

I went in to see Marilyn today and for the first time in months found a stylist that listened to what I wanted, and then gave it to me! The best haircut I have had after months of trying! If you have short hair, don’t even hesitate. She is an expert and also gave me good advise on products to use on my dry hair! She is a Gem and the shop and Barb, the hostess, is very nice!

I was visiting Paso Robles recently, and realized that I desperately needed a haircut. I told them when I called that I wasn’t a local, so they knew they wouldn’t be getting repeat business from me, but they still treated me like a regular. Lacey agreed to come in the next morning and cut my hair.
She was wonderful. Listened to me rattle on, and gave me a great cut that’s easy to manage. She was super nice, too, and recommended some great products to take home. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks, Lacey!

I got my hair done this past week by Melissa. Let me say, she spent 3 ½ hours on my hair, literally foiled every strand. I got low/​high lights, and she made my hair look absolutely perfect. She not only made my hair exactly the way I wanted, she did the best job I have ever had anyone do on my hair. She got deep down to the roots, trimmed, cut, blow-​dried and styled for only $ 150! Killer deal for all of the work that was done. Ask for Melissa next time you go into Brushed. She is the best stylist!

I moved to Paso in September of last year and was pretty anxious about finding a hair stylist who could compete with my former stylist (whom I had been going to for over 10 years). Nikki did not disappoint! She got my color just right and I love the way she styles my hair. I also recently went in for a special (facial, pedi, and blow dry) and had an amazing experience. I love this place; atmosphere is comfortable, staff is great and I always leave there feeling pretty.
