Specialties

The classically elegant wines you taste at Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles are the culmination of the dreams of three generations of one California family spanning four decades.

History

Established in 1974.

In the 1990’s, Glenn Bianchi launched a search in the established classical wine growing areas to build an additional winery that produced only ultra premium wines. Glenn spent many months studying and traveling through the time honored regions of Napa, Sonoma, Monterey and California’s Central Coast. It was the diverse climates and microclimates in the Central Coast region that caught his attention and Glenn finally arrived at his «sweet spot» 3380 Branch Road on the Estrella Prairie of Paso Robles.

Glen surrounded himself with the best talent, including winemaker Tom Lane who really knew where the best fruit could be sourced from on the Central Coast. Soon, a winery with state-of-the-art equipment was built and a beautiful tasting room was constructed on the shore of a picturesque lake in the center of Bianchi Vineyards

Meet the Business Owner

Beau B.

Business Owner

From a prohibition era entrepreneur and a Renaissance man to a visionary and a new media maven the Bianchi family has been involved in the California wine business for four generations dating back to the early 1900s.

Having assisted his Granddad and Father at the original Bianchi winery, Beau Bianchi easily stepped into his role as the family’s fourth generation wine entrepreneur. He fully embraced the passion, vision and commitment of Joe and Glenn, ensuring that Bianchi Winery would become the world-class wine destination it has become today. With young sons in tow, he also has a lot in common with his Great Granddad, Carmelo.

Even as Bianchi Winery broadens its reach well beyond Paso Robles, it has and will always stay true to its origins and unwavering philosophy concerning quality. Winemaker Tom Lane makes sure that’s the case. With as little human intervention as possible and utilization of the finest fruit Mother Nature provides.
