Z-Best Air Duct and Carpet Restoration

I had these guys come and clean my vents from the coupon in my mailer coupons. Not only did they try to con me into getting more expensive services I didn’t need, they turned aggressive when I refused. And after they left, I had to vacuum my vents anyway because they didn’t do anything. On top of that, they added an extra $ 20 for travel. I didn’t argue with him. I just wanted him out of my house.

If you don’t like your money, do business with these con men. But if you’d rather get your money’s worth, go elsewhere.
I contacted Z-​best to clean my air ducts. The
coupon I had stated 1 main and 1 return with unlimited vents. Lonnie and Johnny Straughn came to my residence. Johnny came in and proceeded to vacuum out some vents in the upstairs bedrooms and two vents in the down stairs. Lonnie took me downstairs to count the number of mains and returns and to show me the condition of the ac fan in the basement before he tested it for microbes. After Lonnie came up with a estimate for what a complete home air duct cleaning would be, I told him I would submit his estimate to my landlord and that I only wanted what the coupon stated. He then added a $ 20 travel fee that was not listed anywhere on the coupon, nor had been discussed when I set the appointment with his office. After contacting my landlord, another contractor was sent to my home by my landlord. This contractor explained how the work should have been done and showed me when he opened up the main that was to have been cleaned that nothing had in fact been done with the main. The only thing that had been done was a few vent registers were vacuumed. I contacted Lonnie and he would not listen to my complaint and refused to refund my money.

After some serious home remodeling during a snow storm, my carpets were needing some serious attention. I received a coupon for this place in a mailer and decided to give them a shot… big mistake. The guy tried to sell me on $ 400 to deep clean my 2 year old carpets. I knew that was unnecessary, so just asked for a standard steam clean. The job he did was a joke. Next time, I’ll rent a steam cleaner and do it myself. His wife (who was waiting in the car) knocked on my door while he was cleaning and said she needed to ask him something. I thought it was sketchy so I kept an eye on here. She walked upstairs and then helped herself to my bathroom! WTF! All she had to so was ask. I made sure all of my belongings were still there when she left.
The worst part of it all was I bought a new vacuum and when I used it the next day the entire thing was filled. So, I paid $ 100 for what?! Nothing but some wet carpets and sketchy people. Never ever again!
