Two Guys Tree Service

I should have listed to the old lady across the street. She said, «Beware of these men!» Well, my neighbor died last Christmas and now I can’t tell her how seriously destructive this tree service actually is. Way more than I thought was possible!
Oscar, the smooth talking front man (or conman), convinced my wife he was an expert in everything and talked us into a full service landscaping job which included tree trimming, deep root feeding of all shrubs and trees and the planting of ten new shrubs, all of which were diseased and are dying five weeks after planting. Oscar of course said they were guaranteed for year. Now he won’t return our calls.
The deep root feeding, which Oscar kept postponing until «tomorrow» eventually sort of happened with a digging pipe and two plastic bottles of fertilizer no bigger than dishwashing liquid. The fertilizing amounted to a few two-​foot holes in the ground around the root balls instead of the drip line where roots collect most of their water. The fertilization was practically nothing!
Finally, I kept telling these guys to make sure their truck engine didn’t leak on our new designer driveway. Oscar assured me his truck did not leak. Not only did the truck engine leave three pools of oil, but his chainsaw leaked MORE and created a path of oil spots up and down the driveway as they carried the saw back and forth. I demanded Oscar clean the driveway with acid. All he did was make it much worse by spreading out the dark sludge into big brown stains covering half the surface of the previously pristine cement and brick.
Two Guys Tree Service destroyed our hardscaping, sold us diseased plants and ripped us off on the fertilization. We paid them $ 3200, way too much for everything. We were gullible. Please! Don’t be like us! Run from Two Guys Tree Service!

I paid” Two Guys Tree Service” $ 500 cash to top and trim 3 trees stated clearly in contract but they only finished 2 trees and 1 tree left because he said that his truck load is full and he will come back on the next day at 8:00 am to top that tree but he needs $ 500 cash first to pay truck fee and their workers. He wrote the words that he will owe me $ 150 for that tree if he doesn’t come in the contract but he never shows up and he never answers my phones. They’re gone after taking away $ 500 cash without cutting my last tree. Nobody can be found to refund me $ 150 or finish the last tree.
I finally found that they do NOT have License #. The business name and contact information in the contract are even not registered properly. That’s why he only can get business by passing out business card on the door step and doesn’t care about what he wrote in the contract because it is not enforceable at all.

DID NOT SHOW UP FOR APPOINTMENT, DID NOT CALL OR RESPOND!
We used Two Guys Tree Service in Aug. 2011 when they left a business card on our door step. At the time, they were very responsive when giving us a quote and scheduling tree trimming on a Saturday so that we could be there when they work on our property. They showed up during a weekday without letting us know first. We came home to discover the trees were trimmed/​removed, and not to our liking. We called them and they came out again on a different Saturday than our original scheduled date to finish the job. I was fine with the tree removal, root removal, trimming, thinning, clean up, and price, but a little annoyed about them entering our property when we were not home.
Now it’s Feb. 2013, we made a Saturday appointment after playing phone tag for days with them to come quote trimming/​thinning again, they DID NOT SHOW UP. Did not call, did not respond to our calls at all. Will not call them again.
