Really good boba place! This is always my go-​to place. I usually get rose vanilla green milk tea, or RVGMT with cookie dough (sweeter), and blueberry marshmallow black tea. All of them have normal sweetness. They don’t give as much boba but at the same time, it’s okay since there’s no left over when I finish the drink unlike other boba place where there’s so much left over. They always try to give samples and the staffs are pretty nice. It just depends on what day you go. They’re usually busy, especially during Tuesdays… because they give discount for «Tpumps Tuesday.»

ALL BOBA IS NOT CREATED THE SAME…
It’s all about the BOBA! That is what makes this place so hot. I drove by and saw this huge line out the door. I had to Unilocal it, thinking I was missing out… Total FOMO. Can’t help it.
I started with a single, then double now triple Boba in my Pumbo (the super size). Pretty soon, I’ll be like, fill it up half way with BOBA…:))
The best I can describe the texture of his perfectly marinated Honey Boba is this:
Take your tongue and feel the soft palate in your mouth. That area below your tongue right behind your teeth. That smooth part. Find it yet?
Well, That silky feel, is the BOBA! I just love how smooth it is.
I do Pumbo, oolong tea, triple Boba, non dairy, rose flavor and no added sugar… It is so Good! Oh! And I match my straw to the color of the cup seal. It changes…:))
And if you don’t like it… Tell them, they will make it again and again until your happy.

Best boba place ever! Their boba is always perfect and the prices are reasonable. You can mix flavours together and I haven’t tried a domination I haven’t liked. You can choose between green tea and black tea, which is cool. Also, while pure standing in like, many samples are offered and it helps you to get an idea of what you’re wanting. I recommended this spot to everyone!
So bummed lately. Everytime I’ve gone, they forget to give me points. I’m missing about 7 now, which is 7 drinks. I love the drinks here and always bring friends, but kind of bummed about the rewards program lacking lately. I hope this can get resolved.

OFFICIALLY MY NEW FAVORITE BOBA PLACE. Super fast and friendly service, a million awesome flavor combinations, easy parking, what more could you ever ask for? I never thought I’d ever try (and love) a taro strawberry cookie dough milk tea with basil seeds in it but TPumps somehow made it possible.

I have mixed feelings about this place… One side of me likes that you can customize your drink to so many flavors but another part of me knows that all those flavors are artificial (syrups, powders, etc). After much debate on what I was in the mood for, I decided on strawberry passionfruit milk tea (half sugar). At first I liked it but as I kept drinking it it started to taste syrupy and artificial. My husband had the guava strawberry green tea. We thought it was good and refreshing (although it didn’t taste much like guava).
The service was very prompt and helpful. The drink size is also pretty good for the price. I will go back again and try something different and hopefully have a different opinion about my drink.

Dang it, people need to stop raving about this place (ironic because I’m writing a 5-​star review) because the lines are just getting too dang long.
Workers are about as friendly as boba shop workers can get.
I love the customizable flavors, although this becomes an issue when my uncontrollable indecisiveness kicks in once in a while.
My go-​to flavors are:
PMS green milk tea, half sweet. If you’re in the mood for something creamy and fruity, this is what you need. If you don’t want the creaminess, skip the milk and this drink is still

Peach rose green milk tea (also half sweet). Also bomb if you want something from the creamy department. But if you aren’t a fan of flower-​y flavors, then stay away.
Oh, and can’t forget about their honey boba. It’s so good. Perfectly sweet and just squishy enough.

Favorite weekly boba spot.
Relatively inexpensive with generous amounts of drink and boba. Staff is very friendly and cooperative especially Alex who’s #1 priority is for customers to be satisfied with their drink; and if they’re not then he or the staff won’t hesitate to make you a new one.
Highly recommend, especially on TPumps Tuesday (where you get a large size drink for the price of a small! Every Tuesday)

I drive by this place at least 2 – 3 times a week at various times and there’s always a LINE! I figured I had to try it out for myself after seeing all the great reviews.
Well, it didn’t disappoint. I walked in on a Saturday evening and there was no line! Score! I got a free sample of Raspberry Almond Roca, which sounds weird but actually was quite tasty! I ended up getting the passionfruit, guava, tangerine and guava green tea (similar to POG juice in Hawaii). It was really good, I got mine with half sugar and it was still very tasty.
Prices are comparable to other places. I like this place because you basically can customize it to exactly what you want. There’s so many different combinations. You can also just mix fruit flavors. Or you can get more traditional like almond, caramel, etc. I didn’t get boba this time but will have to try it because I usually judge a place based on how good their boba is. But, I have a feeling it’s pretty tasty!
There’s street parking (pay) but just park in the Ross lot one block away and walk over. It’s free in that lot. :)
The only con is that there aren’t any tables to sit and chat with friends, they have some high tops outside for you to stand. So it’s not really a place to hang out or study, but the drinks are great!

You get to mix up to 3 of whatever flavors your want so if t tastes bad you only have yourself to blame… If you aren’t sure what flavors to mix they have a list of favorites or you can ask the cashier for suggestions. I like their boba it’s nice and soft and chewy. They just don’t give you too much. If you didn’t know all their flavors are syrups and they use coffemate powder as the milk. I wish they used real milk. Park behind Ross on Shoppers Lane for free parking and walk over.
Pros: Good boba, large sized drinks, good price, and lots of free samples,
Cons: there can be long lines, don’t give enough boba, don’t use real milk, and place is small

My favorite boba place of all time! I love how they have so many different selections you can choose from for flavors. I usually get the watermelon, strawberry, peach or pineapple or lychee depending on what I want as my 3^rd flavor. It tastes very fruity and the boba is very soft here since typically I don’t order boba because at other places it tastes very artificial and hard, but at Tpumps you can always ensure that they have the softest chewiest boba! What’s best is that they have big sizes for a very reasonable price. Lines can get long in the weekends so check it out during a weekday.
The staff there are very nice and welcoming, and what’s great is that the wait doesn’t even seem bad because they constantly give out free samples for you t try out!
They have street parking where you have to pay at the meter, but they have a free parking lot in the back for 2 hours that I recently just discovered on a sign they’ve posted.

Customer service was an amazing! The fact that the line was going outside with 13 customer they still manage to satisfy them by giving them taster of each drink they have available to try. While waiting in line I tried like 3 of their drink and all of them were amazing except for one it has something with marshmallow lol~
Other than that the cups are huge and the price was worth it bought two cups for $ 7 and I believe it’s like 20−30oz not quite sure but it was enough to make me full lol. The strawberry mango black tea with milk and boba was amazingly super good (: as for my girlfriend she got the strawberry almond roca milk tea and that was also good! And our dear friend lyka got the plain milk tea with boba and it was still good. But I believe the milk tea taste a bit different up here compare to San Diego milk teas. Beside the drink the boba itself was sweet and yummy to chew on, never have once experience this kind of flavor from this boba compare to all 7 – 10 boba shops I been at.
Shop is kinda small so unfortunately you can’t enjoy your wonderful drink inside, but I bet you they will make more money if they ever decided to make it a bigger place and have room for guest to enjoy their lovely drinks. But yaaassssss if I come back to LA again this is a stop for boba for sure!!!

The one thing that I knew there would be a significant dropoff in with regards to moving back home from NorCal to SoCal would be the available boba options. Ugh… when you are used to Tpumps, Sharetea, and Gong Cha all within a reasonable driving distance and then come home to the crap that is the SoCal boba scene, it is very disappointing.
So yes, I am very happy that there is a Tpumps location in Pasadena. The only thing that pisses me off about this location is that IT IS THE ONLY LOCATION IN ALL OF SOCAL! Aside from that, no other boba location knows how to properly make my favored rose vanilla black milk tea, so I will give you a pass.
Now open up another location. Preferably very close to Rowland Heights.

Parking is terrible. They have signs on the front of their door reminding patrons to pay for the meter if you park in front of the store. It’s like 25 cents for five minutes. Line looked pretty long on a Sunday afternoon but moved fairly quickly. They have popular drinks listed on the wall. Nothing sounded particularly good to me so I made my own concoction. Got a iced peach lychee black milk tea, lightly sweetened. All drinks come with a free topping and I opted for the honey boba. Reasonably priced– $ 3.50.
Drink came out pretty fast. Not sure if that’s a good thing. My drink was very sweet with a teeny tiny hint of tea. I’m pretty sure they use a lot of artificial flavorings. The honey boba was really good! It was soft, chewy, with a bit of sweetness!
If you like to make weird combos this place is for you. You can pick up to three flavors! However, if you’re indecisive like me, you’re better sticking to regular tea spots. Probably would give this place another shot if I’m in the area but wouldn’t come out of my way for it. With so many good drink spots in the 626/​SGV area, I’m surprised this place is so popular.

The holy grail of create your own boba drink. They have a seemingly unlimited amount of mix flavors amounting to literally a limitless number of boba drinks.
If you’ve never been here before, it might seem terrifying but don’t be afraid. They have a favorites mix menu. Also, they love to give out samples while you wait so you can try something new.

Service was nice and they gave random created samples. You order down the menu with your choices, then you can add flavors and toppings.
Street parking. Parking on Lake can suck.
Tpump Iced Green Milk Tea w/​Boba — $ 3.50 — Very simple clean milk tea, Light sweet was perfect. Boba was soft and chewy. I liked that you get one topping included in the price unlike most places that charge for it.

When I tried T Pumps for the first time in San Francisco, it was love at first sip. When I recently learned that there was a T Pumps in Pasadena? Game over. Came here when they opened at 11am and there was already a line – so you know it’s good!
The drink sizes here are massive (regular 24 oz., large 32 oz) and I’m forever grateful for it since I don’t have T Pumps close to home. And if you were wondering, yes I do get the 32 oz every time.
I love how you can customize the sweetness and mix several flavors. Their boba balls here are so much yum but they skimp out on it; practically forcing you to ask for extra boba. Take my money! Peach rose green milk tea is the one I can’t stay away from.

I feel like the quality of their drinks and boba are getting worse. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a huge fan of their concept in being able to customize your own drinks. However, it’s just not as good as when they first opened. They’ve also raised the pricing of the drinks too. On certain days though, for instance on Tuesdays, they give you a free size upgrade.
There has been multiple visits in which I received old hard boba in my drink, boohoo. Also, I don’t get much of the tea flavor in my drink; just sugary sweetness even when I always order my drink with light sweetness.

TPUMPS is my absolute favorite boba place, for many reasons.
I saw it everywhere on social media, but usually in San Francisco. So when I saw that they had one in Pasadena, I knew I had to try it. The workers are super friendly, and they offer many different samples while you wait in line.
They do «Tpumps Tuesday» where they give you a free size upgrade to their large size (hugeeee) at no extra cost. However, the line gets very, very long on Tuesdays.
The shop is small, so there’s no room to sit down and drink with your friends, it’s more of a grab and go kind of shop.
The boba is the best boba I have ever had, better than Teastation and all the others. Definitely recommended to get extra boba.
You can basically choose any flavor combinations of their high-​end syrups and take it as a tea, or add milk for a milk tea. Most of the flavors are really good, but if you’re stuck, you can order off their recommended list and their Fan Favorites list. My all-​time favorite is Rose Vanilla. I get it every single time and I just try all of my other friend’s drinks. Pumps changed my life.

Tpumps finally made its way down to SoCal. Surprisingly, I actually thought this location is better than the one (forgot which one) I tried in NorCal.
Anyway, you don’t have to park at the meter parking, they have 90min free parking around the corner. There was a long line, but the line moved relatively fast since it took us a while to decide what we want to get.
This is not your typical boba shop where they have a long menu for you to pick. This is more like a mix n match flavor with tea typa place. They have a good variety of flavors and toppings that you can pair with their fresh brewed tea. The size and price is unbeatable, 24 oz for $ 3 and 32 oz for $ 4! You also get to pick the sweetness level!
I have only tried a couple drinks, but PMS is my favorite so far. I get it with light sugar since the flavors are on the sweet side.

INSANE line at night. Recommended by my cousin, this boba establishment seems to be THE hot spot for the young, and the older curious folks.
When the time came closer, and the line was still out the door, the staff came out to mark the end of the line, and inform us of the horrors of the inside — they were out of boba. NOOOO! As we inched closer to the front, the same staff member emerged and took everyone’s order. I wondered what could be so confusing about plopping some jelly or boba into a drink? As I peered at the menu, I was overwhelmed with my options:
1) Size
2) Tea or milk tea
3) Sweetness
4) Flavors (choose 3 out of 30+)
5) Toppings (boba, jelly, etc.)
Overall, pretty cool since they have free upgrades to their largest size for the same price on Tuesdays (I think? Only been there once), staff is friendly, and the drinks are pretty good. Yay Tpumps!
