Tami gives THE BEST facials! She also massages your shoulders, which is also amazing! The bed was really comfortable and clean. An extremely relaxing experience.

Donna did my eyelashes today and she had a great bed side manner. I found her to be very knowledgeable about eyelashes and what would be best for my eye shape. Since it is very detailed work, I felt she was skilled in placing each lash down without causing my eyes to irritate. It was a positive experiences. =)

This business sells eyelash services on Groupon under the name The Twins Skin and Lash. I purchased a Groupon from them in December to get my lashes done. Now I’m here to warn you against it. It may be cheap, but they’re completely unreliable and we have TONS of other cheap options in SGV.
I’ve tried to contact this business multiple times. First text was not returned at all. Phone call was not returned until a week later — too late for me to get the lashes for my event. Called again yesterday — now their message says they basically don’t answer calls ever (because they’re always with clients and don’t have a receptionist). If you want a response from this business it will only be through text. This wouldn’t be a big deal except those aren’t reliable either.
Yesterday I sent a second text and they finally scheduled an appointment for 9 this morning. Then when I confirmed they sent me a confirmation for Feb. 9 and failed to return any futher texts when I tried to clarify the mistake. It’s now the next morning. I’ve sent an additional text and there’s still no response but the appointment is supposed to be in one hour.
This has been a completely unsatifying experience and I have already requested a full refund from Groupon.

My daughter bought me a facial gift certificate as a bridal shower gift. My esthetician was Donna, she was so amazing and knowledgeable! I definitely will be back!!! Thank you for the professional facial for aging! I see and feel the difference

I’m only rating this company because I do not have the option to give them ZERO stars.
I don’t even know where to begin. A friend and I purchased a groupon for a full set of lashes and refills in the beginning of November. I followed the directions on the groupon and contacted the company via text message. Ended up booking our appointment a month out because they were completely book, which was fine with me. So a month and some days go by and a few days before our appointment I get a text cancelling our appointment because of building inspections and renovations. Once again, I didn’t sweat it because we were super stocked about getting eyelash extensions for the first time so we went ahead and scheduled another appointment over a month after our original appointment. Now it’s January 23^rd and our appointment was booked and confirmed. We arrive 15 mins early and the door was locked and there was another client waiting outside for her appointment that was scheduled for the same time as ours. We waited for one of the technicians to let us in and when she opened the door she looked at us like she wasn’t expecting us. She was hesitant to let us in and required that I show her the text messages and the groupon. I did that with no problem but started getting a weird feeling because it felt like we were unwanted. Once we got in another technician asked that I show her the messages and groupon immediately after showing the other technician. Again I found that to be super weird and unorganized. After sitting in the waiting room for about 20 minutes one of he technicians gave me a form to fill out as if they were getting ready to take us in. She placed another clipboard where my friend was sitting (she had stepped out for a brief moment). No longer than 10 mins after, one of the technicians asked me to step outside so she can explain to me what’s going on. She tells me that they are unable to service the both of us even though we booked our appointment and that only one of us would be able to be seen that day. I kept my cool the whole time and explained to her that we were cancelled on before and that its unprofessional that they allowed us to drive all the way there only to be turned down (Mind you I drove all the way from Orange County, and my friend from central LA). She began making up random excuses saying that the owner suggested other options and that their system was recently hacked so they lost all their bookings. Then she starting saying that their «regular customers» are scheduled, basically implying that they were more important. I couldn’t believe it and I have never experienced anything like this before!
They were very unprofessional and inconsiderate and basically treated us groupon customers like second class citizens. I was astounded and furious and would never recommend this company to my friends, families, or coworkers. It was an embarrassing and disappointing experience. I’m currently waiting to get my full refund from groupon and will be filing a complaint. Beware groupon users, they don’t value our business a much as their regulars.
Word of advice, if you have an issue with people who use groupon don’t do business with groupon, simple concept!!!

Tammi is really sweet. When the light might hit your eyes, she’ll block it with her hands. Hey service is great. Not a bad pricing for a simple facial. There’s no machines here though.
She will call and remind you of upcoming appointments. You will also get a text with directions.
Why the low rating? Well I thought I found my facial place. I bought the Groupon for 3 facials deal. First facial went without a hiccup.
2^nd facial was great. I even asked about the price for a normal package.
Well…by the time I got home my hands were swollen. The picture below is my hands ½ hour after my facial from her place to my home. I didn’t go anywhere before or stop anywhere afterwards. Those are flea bites. The place or sheets are dirty.
The next day my hands were even worse. It was also on the sides and on top of my hand. I went to the Dr. and had to get a topical prescription. It took 2 – 3 weeks to heal. I cleaned my home 3 times for fear of bringing it back.
Why I didn’t feel it while I was there? 1) I fell asleep 2) bites takes time before you feel it
So obviously the third time I didn’t even go.
Such a shame. I really liked Tammi.

So far so good! I got my lashes done last week by tami, so far theyve lasted longer than lashes Ive gotten done elsewhere. She was really sweet and it was very relaxing. She took my concerns about my eyes and eyelashes into account and did everything I asked her to. I got the groupon. Im going back for the fill in a couple of weeks. Just a heads up that they get busy quick so you should schedule as far ahead in advanced as possible.

I went there for a facial a few weeks ago and have another visit coming up soon. My face felt wonderful when I was done. They explain their process, don’t treat your face like a slab of meat and they are very calming and pleasant. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Horrible! I have been getting eyelash extensions for a while now and this was by far the worst set I ever got. First of all, I paid for mink eyelash extensions and received «faux» mink extensions. They were rough, scratchy, painful while being applied and painful while they were on. I don’t even have a low tolerance for pain and I know from other times that they shouldn’t be painful. They felt and looked like black splinters in my eyelids. The glue they use smells like acetone. They looked horrible in the end! Worst place for eyelash extensions period.

Super relaxing. Cute tiny salon with very nice aestheticians. You can park in the structure behind the Marriott or at any of the structures bc they’re all 90 min free. But get there closer to ur appt time if you don’t wanna go past the 90 min, bc then u have to pay. Tami did my facial and she was very gentle and thorough. I went in with a full face of makeup and she took her time removing it. It was a basic facial but I was tired n stressed and the bit of acupressure I got helped relieve some tension and calm me down. Their products smelled quite good and she made sure to ask me if I was allergic to anything before she began. It was also very clean n serene in the room. I don’t get facials too often bc I’m pretty thorough with my skincare myself, but knowing I’ll get good service will definitely give me incentive to come back. Cash only btw, they haven’t been able to set up their cc machine but they are working on it!

I bought a groupon, because I had neglected getting my regular facials and I wanted to try something new. I believe that the people here want you to actually have healthier skin and work on any issues you have.
My face didn’t look as bad as I thought it would when I left, since I’ve had issues with acne recently. I was given advice on how to cleanse my skin, what to avoid and was happy with the work. I do need to go back for another facial to clear up all my pores. One session was not enough. You can only do so much in an hour.
The price of the groupon was well worth the service. I enjoyed the products that were used as well, lovely scents. I would come back again and they do have package deals that are more than fair (I asked, they didn’t push it on me). Thanks for the facial :0)

I went here today with a GroupOn for a facial by Tami. I have skin that always gets blackheads. I drink tons of water, cleanse and exfoliate regularly, but is still dehydrated. I go to tons of different places to try different facials and NONE of them have been as thorough as Tami was with my extractiions! I can’t say enough about her attention to detail! Also, I felt like a jerk for not having enough cash on me for a proper tip. They don’t take credit cards so remember to being cash, at LEAST for tipping.

I have been searching for a salon that does European facial and this is it! I’ve been to a few places and it just didn’t cut if for me :-). This salon truly does! A full 60 minutes of customized facial with massage around the décolletage and neck areas — can’t beat it. Products used are of high quality and Donna is the best! The whole session was so relaxing I didn’t feel like doing anything afterwards.
Small establishment but that’s what makes it special. Located in a courtyard setting and walking distance to the shops/​stores on E Colorado Boulevard.

I went here on a whim, after seeing the good reviews and a great deal for a Groupon! Donna did my eyelash extensions and I love them! They are comfortable, and natural. The first time I’ve had eyelashes where I don’t look crazy haha :) She is very, very nice and accommodating as well! I would definitely recommend them for the eyelash extensions, they always have great promotions as well. I can’t wait to try a facial!

Tami is awesome! I knew after the first five minutes of interaction that I was going to love her. She was warm, kind, and friendly, its as though we had been friends all along.
She took time to listen to what my issues were, and also provided some really good information about what I can do to improve my skin. She was very knowledge and I love her honesty. She called me out on some of the poor habits that I was guilty of, which were contributing to my poor skin. I really really really appreciated that. She also told me to bring my skin care stuff into the next visit, so that she could see what I was using. There was no sales pitch to buy products, she just legitimately wanted to help me with my breakouts. She also gave me some solid advice on what I needed to do regularly to treat my skin. I was appreciative of the conversation. I learned a lot from her.
The facial itself was relaxing: clean room and nice calming music. She gave me some good pointers on how to properly wash my skin. She did a very though job extracting my clogged pores, whiteheads, and black heads. I was so so so pleased. She took her time, and explained everything she was doing. She even counseled on leaving my skin alone (I have a compulsion to pick at pimples).
Great place… Highly recommend. Came here on a groupon, but there is also a Unilocal checkin special. This place inside the shopping square right behind the container store. Street parking as per the usual in pasadena. There is a red sign that say «eyelash bar».

I was referred by a few of my friends to the Twins (Donna & Tami) and needed to share this to the world.
Okay so my friends raved about this place and how good these 2 girls there are because you can see the results even in one try. so I put them to the test!
We’ll I have to say… it’s not magic… but it’s magic!
Nothing changes overnight, especially skin, I would know having ache for a couple of years when my hormones went bonkers; however you come out of this place feeling like that was the best facial you ever had and you really see the healthy, clean, smooth flow afterwards!!!
Just try it and you’ll see what I’m talking about! Donna who worked on my face was very honest and told me that I actually don’t need to come too often since it’s far for me but instead to just do home skin care with a few things that she advised, HELLO $$$ SAVER.
She said home care would be very important for me and my type of skin to do the daily routines so I can actually see results. She explained that results is what matters so that if I do what she says I will see the results.
A few different routines, steps, and products can really make a difference she said so I’m strictly trying it at home and it feels good! I really liked her because I felt she was very sincere with her advise and she didn’t try to push products on me. Which makes all the difference.
Donna was very sound in the advise that she gave. She said that because I wasn’t removing my make up first before I washed my face, my foundation will clog my pores preventing any products I used to penetrate and not be effective on me.
What I liked about her is that she explained things in a logical manner so I can understand «my skin type» since we are all different yet she also let me relax and enjoy the environment while getting a nice serene relaxing facial massage in a peaceful setting. My friends tell me Tami is also very very skilled and just as honest as well. I’m so glad we all found this place.
Please go it’s a MUST!!!

The staff here is polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I came here for facial. I work in the graveyard shift and my skin was really screaming for help. I’m getting wrinkles and breakouts. Their facial treatments here are AWESOME!!! I feel so relaxed and my skin tone improve drastically. this is my 2^nd treatments and i can see my skin is glowing and now stress under control. Their prices are very reasonable for the service you receive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The Twins Skin and Lash is my go to place and nowhere else!!!

I have been to many other facial/​skin care places around the area and none of them are as effective as here! Friendly staff and very professional consultation from Tami and Donna! With just few treatments, they fixed my long time facial problem that has bother me for years! Most importantly, the price will not break your bank!

This SPA is clean and organized. Tami-​one of the Estheticians here did my eyelash extensions. I told her I didn’t want to do eyelash extensions for a long time, because I had an unpleasant experience from another place and I feel scared. Tami explained everything to me in details about the theory and contraindications, so I knew what to expect. I felt confident in her professional opinion. I decided to do the natural look. It’s been three weeks, since I had them done. I got a lot of compliments. No one could tell I’m wearing extensions, LOL. I already made my next appointment for my touch up.
