The Laundry Room

Damn really wanted to like this place too! Seems some privileged sorority snobby blonde runs the laundry mat. As she’s doing laundry she’s casing the place for people she can discriminate against like me!
For example:
I just walked in with 3 baskets of clothes, put them down, and walked to other side to get quarters to use the machines. Blonde sorority manager chick decides to yell at me «Are you doing laundry here?» Why? Seems I don’t look like the right person for her airhead question. No respect or manners in her approach either. Like «Excuse me, are you doing laundry here?» Or «Ma’am, are you doing laundry here?»
I’m sure she won’t like this review but hey I give no fuks if she’s a «real person inside» instead of some stereotypical blonde! Smh!

I’ve been a patron for several months now. All conveniences are available (e.g., change machine, vending machine with commonly forgotten items, laundry bags, etc.). Do use the bathroom before coming. They charge for the restroom, even for regular paying customers. It is a drawback when you’re a paying customer and frequenter. Limited parking in front, so be prepared to carry your things if the parking lot is pretty full. However, facilities are clean, machines are regularly operating, and easy to navigate and use. They always have music playing low or something to watch on TV.

Hi. I van old man on disability. You do NOT WANT to visit this laundry house. I did my laundry and dried here. They charged me .50 cents to use the restroom. This is not fair to the elderly.
Oh it’s a fancy place, but no different results than other mats. Never going here again.

So the basics are here and it is relatively clean with lots of washing machines.
The reason it gets 2 stars is that when I wanted to use the restroom, which is right next to the change machine, I found that it was locked. I asked a nice hispanic lady if there was a key, and was told its .50 cents to use it. Never in my life have I been asked to pay money to use the restroom. There are no signs stating that it costs money either.
I am going to file a complaint with the BBB as well, soley because its possibly the dumbest business practice have ever encountered.

Our building has a laundry room but it’s 3 floors down and I’m nine months pregnant with our first child. Suffice it to say, doing laundry (especially folding the clothes — ugh!) is at the bottom of our list of things to do. After a suggestion from a friend to look into laundry service for when the baby arrives, my husband and I decided to try this place out. Let me just say: this is a game changer. We tested out prices and turnaround with a full standard hamper and got a quote of $ 1.25 per pound. They mentioned they offer pick up and delivery for an additional $ 10, or $ 5 for either just a pick up or just delivery. We decided to drop the clothes off ourselves and have them deliver.
My husband dropped off our order before 8am and let me know it came to $ 29.63 with delivery. I was floored and in a good way. I later called and asked the store when I may expect delivery the next day as the policy is a 24 hour turnaround. Again, they exceeded my expectations by saying our order was already finished and could be delivered within the hour.
The clothes arrived neatly packaged and organized. The owner delivers everything herself. She apologized for losing one of the baby’s socks but truth be told I could’ve lost that teeny sock anywhere so it wasn’t a big deal for me. As an expectant first-​time mommy, I look forward to becoming a regular customer. Thank you, Laundry Room for saving us from laundry hell!

I brought a comforter and some fleece blankets in to get washed. I like that they asked me if I wanted them to use a scent and dye free deterrent, which I did. The prices were reasonable and they did the job in just a few hours. I probably should have checked everything really well when I got home, but all I did was smell and feel stuff to see how clean I thought it was. Last night my wife pointed out to be a tear in one of the fleece blankets. I can’t exactly blame The Laundry Room for it, but I don’t think it was there before hand. Oh well, it was just a cheap fleece blanket from Target. I’ll probably use their service again, but I will
be checking everything before and after I drop it off.

Although more narrow a place than I expected in a laundry, made even more of a place that you step over baskets and detergent discarded on the floor as you step over tiny tots that run amok with no supervision from whatever adult they arrived with earlier.
By 9pm the place goes from packed with people to sparse, and it is then you can get your stuff done, and have all the space you need to fold your items. The staffers are friendly and helpful, and the understated blonde beauty operating the push broom and taking out trash ought to be snatched up by an agent and be put on a TV program as its resident beauty.
All in all, as a laundromat it is top notch, but go about 9pm for a better experience – unless you love the sound of screaming loud unruly tykes running roughshod up and over everything.

This place is like a laundry room at your own home!!! Great staff, clean facility, and most of all; very dependable washers and dryers!

I’ve been going to this laundry place and I’ve witness it change from old to new. Andrea the owner did a great job. It’s nice and clean. Very modernized or so to speak posh laundry.

I needed to wash my rugs and Unilocal took me here. I like that it is a modern take on the laundry mat (it’s about time). The appliances look new and the place is kept up nicely. The attendant was friendly and helpful. I think it’s so weird why anyone would want to drop their laundry off, including undergarments, to be washed by a complete stranger. Wash your own dirty undies! Anyhow, I checked in and received .50 for the dryer. That’s a cute yet inexpensive incentive.

I come here rather than my own apartments laundry room. Just a nice clean place and not an uncomfortable crowd like some other laundry mats. They even sell laundry bags which is a plus in case you forgot your own, however I would highly recommend bringing your own bleach etc. vending machine is pricey, but hey aren’t they all! Pricing for washing went up and the layout is different than my previous visits, I heard someone drove into the place YIKES!!! So now washing is a bit more which is unfortunate or maybe this is due to our drought?

Came to this location as a newcomer to Pasadena looking for first time fluff and fold. The people were friendly and the facility was clean and updated. The hours were extra accommodating! The clothes were carefully washed and very soft when we opened the bags after getting home. A designer shirt turned up missing and after leaving a negative Unilocal review, the manager reached out and offered a full refund.
We definitely have a hard time trusting fluff and fold now but have come back to the location since for self-​service. No complaints with that! :)

If you are looking for a laundromat, move along.
The place is tiny, dirty, and expensive. There are several better options (cheaper, cleaner, and able to sit more than 9 people) within a few miles. I have never written a review before I’ve left an establishment, but this place is so far from its 4.5 star reviews, it’s not even funny.
Avoid.

This fluff and fold service is absolutely amazing
I arrived there for the first time ever very nice and helpful and the laundry room was absolutely clean everything looks very nice and comfortable and I actually saw them wash clothes and individual machine which made me feel very comfortable that they were not gonna throw my laundry with other people’s laundry.
I am so happy for such a great service and quality work.

So we walk into this place and immediately begin sorting. I get a full load in while the hubby goes to make change for the machines. While he’s rattling away with quarters, I start loading the light colors. I look over to hear him snickering at a sign o the bathroom door. It read something like «bathroom for customers only. $ 1». I said, no that can’t be correct! They must mean that guests NOT spending their money in the establishment would have to pay to pee! To which I asked hubby to make certain that I can use the restroom for the duration of laundering our clothes. Sure enough, we would have to chuck up a buck to handle our business in their bathroom. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING!
Suffice it to say, I have no idea how the machines work or the cleanliness there of. You see, I kindly removed our laundry from their machines, re packed them and took my business to a place where I’m appreciated for spending my hard earned cash. It was either that, or cop a squat in front of their door!

Used the fluff and fold service here while I was visiting Pasadena and wanted to avoid the expensive hotel laundry prices. Dropped off 10 lbs of clothes around 9am Sunday and was told to expect up to 24 hours for turn around, but it was ready just a few hours later. They sent me a text message when it was ready. The lady running the place was friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend their fluff and fold service.
Also, if you’re trying to find this place they are hidden in the far corner of a shopping center pretty much away from the only entrance to the parking lot.

Clean, very organized! Went there because we traveled from Washington state and stayed in my boyfriends sisters place, in need of doing our big load of laundry, so I found this awesome place! Plus they also have free wifi and tv ! Very satisfied ! However it costs $ 1 to use the restroom, which seems a little ridiculous to me.

The best thing about using a laundromat is saving time. I can wash and dry several loads in an hour.
This laundromat is always immaculate. Many machines are new. I love that they are maintained.
I have used the pickup service. They come to your house and pick up your dirty laundry and bring it back the same day, clean and fresh.

This place is lovely. I drove to Pasadena for work. Desperate needed to get some laundry done so i brought it all with me. Saw this place while driving and decided I’d stop here SO GLAD I DID. All new machines, cool central air with fans for plenty of air circulation. Plenty of seating space and a nice employee who gave me the password to the free wifi along with 20 minutes of free drying time due to my Unilocal checkin. Nice place to relax at while your clothes washes.

It’s very clean inside. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are different size washers as expected at a coin operated laundromat. If you don’t have time to wash your clothes you can leave your laundry there and the staff will wash, dry and/​or fold for you depending on what you want done. I personally haven’t used their services yet. There are 3 TV’s, I believe, and you can watch away while you wait for your clothes or go to the video store next door. I usually eat at the Hawaiian place a couple of stores down after I put my clothes in the wash.
