Business Owner

Max Lehfeldt, MD, FACS, attended Yale University with a major in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He attended the prestigious University of Southern California-​Keck School of Medicine. He went on to pursue a combined residency in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Southern California (USC).

Dr. Max is board-​certified in Plastic Surgery. He is a proud member of the exclusive American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and American Society of Plastic Surgery. He has been voted «Best Cosmetic Surgeon» — Pasadena Weekly 2011 – 2013 and «Top Doc» — Pasadena Magazine 2007 – 2014. Dr. Max is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Max performs all cosmetic surgeries and specializes in procedures of the face, breast, and body.

My niece Crystle introduced me to Radiance. I started seeing Esther for IPLs and juvederm, great results! I was also recommended to Luann for botox and filler under my eyes.
I have went to both Radiance locations and both are equally amazing! I always look forward to getting the email specials. I am excited for my next appointment.

I moved in LA from Georgia the country, and finding a right place for laser hair removal treatment was very difficult for me. I tried multiple places and Radiance Med Spa is the place where I felt most comfortable doing the procedures. The clinician Esther Agepogu was so knowledgeable and so helpful, she answered on multiple questions I had, she gave me great advice how to take care of the treated area after, she truly is wonderful. After few days I received a call from the spa, it was follow up call, how I felt, was I experiencing any problems after the treatment. I think this kind of relationship between business and customer makes a huge difference, this is why they stay on top of the game. Front desk was very helpful and nice, the entire place looks great and has the soothing mood to it. I will definitely continue my treatment with this spa and Esther Agepogu, and highly recommend for others.

I’ve visited this medical spa several times and each time they have been outstanding. Typically, I find that in CA medical spa’s tend to be less flexible with scheduling and services as well as discounts. However, I have found that Radiance Med Spa is beyond helpful, professional and downright flexible. I did extensive research as I am new to Southern California and I absolutely recommend this group above and beyond any other I’ve ever visited and I have visited quite a few during my search for the right fit.
The outcome of each service is to perfection. I am starting to bring my children here for Asthetic services. I am not one to write reviews but feel this one is worth writing about.

Lu-​Ann did my Botox, she was kind and patient, explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. You won’t notice an immediate difference, but after a week or so the effect will start to kick in. Lu-​Ann scanned my face using one of their fancy machines and showed me where can and can’t be improved by Botox, and that was hugely helpful. Already looking forward to stopping by again!

I consulted with several Doctors but I was so impressed by Dr Max Lehfeldt’s warm knowledgeable bed side manner that it made my decision very easy to make. Heaven! I love this place…
To start, the office is gorgeous. You get an immediate feel of clean and sleek. I found Radiance Med Spa/​Dr. Max from a friend who brought me to the grand opening. From that moment I knew I would be coming back for something!
Front receptionist welcomed me with a warm smile. I filled out my new patient info and was quickly whisked away to spend the next 45minutes with LuAnn the ever so amazing nurse. Her accent quickly put me at ease. I went in to have a few fillers, and she did a wonderful job recommending other areas that need attention. I like that she was HONEST and upfront. No BS. Besides, she is the expert, so her opinion came with open arms. She had the magic touch, no bruising and hardly any swelling or bleeding.
Pricing at this Med spa is very reasonable. Aging gracefully can be difficult already, so knowing I can come here and not break my bank, feels wonderful.
Parking is just off to the side of the building, easy to turn into and easy to leave. The place is slightly hidden gem, but right across the street from Bevmo.
Without a doubt, I am looking forward to my next visit, which can’t come soon enough.

It’s been some time since me and my mom visited this location but my mom had a pretty traumatic experience while getting fillers at this location. She was not really prepared mentally for the procedure but she did not warn anyone, not even me. She ended up passing out in the chair after the injections. Vangie the nurse was amazing about it and took care of her like she was taking care of family. I would recommend this location to anyone. They truly look out for you.

I came to see Dr. Max after a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon did a botch job. I was feeling insecure and embarrassed and Dr. Max was so wonderful and sincere.
He’s knowledgeable made me feel at ease that I was finally in good hands. He flawlessly fixed the other doctor’s mistakes. I love the fact that he’s a breast cancer specialist because he knows exactly what he’s doing. I am so thankful for Dr. Max and will be sending my celebrity clients his way!

This place is great!!! From the ambience, cleanliness, organization, to the professional and talented staff. Had a consult and treatment with Esther the Nurse Practitioner. She was so clean, meticulous, and answered questions patiently. I did not feel rushed at all. I only wished I was educated on which skin products were sold there for my skin concerns; I wanted to buy something!!! Oh well, definitely next time! I’m going back even if I have tons of places to choose from in the SFV, they’re worth the trek!

Here is my update after revisiting Radiance Spa Medical Group.
I can’t stress enough how lovely the staff is at Radiance Spa Medical Group.
One of the biggest reasons I chose this spa, was because of the great reviews: I continue to choose them, because of the great service. =)
Today I had microdermabrasion done with LuAnne. She answered all of my questions, explained exactly how it worked, and what I could expect. The procedure, at least for me, was painless. Actually, I found it quite relaxing and Luanne did a very thorough job. LuAnne was honest about the procedure, so I went into it having realistic expectations. Tonight, my skin has a pinkish glow (in a good way) and feels quite smooth. I have minimal acne scarring and some fine lines, but this isn’t an instant cure for that, so if that’s something you want to address, inquire about alternative procedures. For me, this was just a nice «pick me up» that left my skin feeling great!
I also decided to try Latisse which I am very excited about. LuAnne took time to explain to me exactly how to apply it to achieve maximum results. I will try my best to take piccies of my progess, so if you’re interested, send me a message. It does however take a few weeks to see any progress, so I plan on being consistent, as well as patient.
The ladies that serve the front desk are exceptional, as well as the PA that takes care of everything on the medical end of things. They have never once tried to up-​sell me in any way. They always do their best to answer any concerns or questions I may have.
I only reside in Pasadena for a few months a year as my home base is in rural Canada. I’m really going to miss the girls at Radiance Spa as where I’m from, it’s not so easy to access a facility of this caliber. I may have to fly to LA for a touch-​up or 2! =D
