Pete does it again! Great job on restoring my 2000 CR-​V to beautiful condition. Pete painted the hood and two fenders of my CRV this week. In the process he cleaned up some minor body damage. Once again, I could not be happier with the results.

This is a late review as my service was done a few months ago but I wanted to recognize the owner & shop for their great work and outstanding service. I am very happy with the work done on my car due to an accident and even had addition work done to have my car power locks doors fixed. The service here is outstanding and everyone is very courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone and would come here again if ever need my car repaired due to a collision. The Owner and his workers are honest & hard working people and will ensure your car is ready when they promise it to be!

My friend referred me to Pete because he has known Pete for many years and he brought all his cars to Pete when he has problems. Someone hit my Toyota Venza in a parking lot and damaged my gate and rear bumper. I took the car for estimates at Seidner’s Collision Center in Duarte and Service King in San Gabriel. Pete’s price is very reasonable compared to the other two.
Pete is honest and professional. There’s always many cars in his lot waiting for repair. However, he replaced my automatic trunk gate and all dents from the fender bender the very next day after I dropped off my car. I highly recommended Pete’s!

I’ve been to Pete twice now, and of all the body shops I’ve been to in Pasadena, he has the lowest prices and the highest quality. It’s a family-​owned and family-​run business, so you know you’re getting that personal touch. Pete and his staff do dealership-​quality work for about a couple hundred less. The only thing is that he doesn’t take personal checks, so you need to make sure your credit card or insurance is up to snuff. The best thing about Pete is that he is willing to work within your budget and gives the best service possible. I have no complaints. It’s a hell of a lot better than going to the dealership!
Also, if you’re lucky enough to get on Pete’s good side, he’s the type of guy who will look out for you. He knows when someone is trying to cheat you in a deal. He tipped me off to what rental car companies do and how hard they push for insurance (and make you pay through the nose otherwise), and of course he gave me the 4−1−1 on dealerships. General rule of thumb, only go to the dealership as a last resort, if no body shop or auto-​service center can do what you’re asking. As of right now Pete will be first on my call list if I need car repair done. I’m very satisfied that he has my back.

My car had damages from a hit and run, they did an amazing job in fixing it! Wouldn’t take my car to anyone else!

So I’ve been driving longer than most of you punks reading this review have been alive. My rear quarter panel and bumper got smacked in a parking lot and the slime ball took off. I called my insurance and headed over to Pete’s to make a reservation. «Reservation» you say. The hoity toidy body shops I have dealt with in the past always gave me a line like «Oh we are so busy, you need to schedule your repair, how about 3 weeks from today at 8:00 AM on Monday morning. This was not the case with Pete’s. Pete himself waited on me and told me to bring the car in any time and it would take about a week.
I took the car in on a Monday morning, Pete told me a week. I handed him my keys, claim number and split. Friday I stopped in and Pete took me over to the car. It was not ready, but, the car was apart and the body work was completed. Pete told me he found more damage and the adjuster came out to approve additional work. Pete got me a new mirror and some scratches on the passenger and rear passenger door taken care of also. The mirror did not get jacked up in the parking lot, it got jacked on my driveways porte-​cochere, but that makes for another story. The car was not ready because he had to order a mirror.
In the past whenever I took my car in after a fender bender I always have the shoppe take care of the supermarket basket dings, bumper scrapes etc. I have always always had to pay for these and I mean pay, like $ 50 for a ding, $ 130 for a fender etc. I had some damage to the top of the hatchback door. I asked Pete if he could fix that. He said «No problem, no charge» I was impressed.
Wednesday I went to pick my baby up, again it was not ready when I got there. His son Karo was busy detailing the car and compounding out some scratches on the driver side. Like OMG, talk about full service. I ran an errand, came back 20 minutes later and the car was ready to go. Now keep in mind all of my damage was at the back end of the car, I never mentioned the scrapes on the front bumper valence. Those happen when I drive off of the curb while coming out of my driveway. I walked around the car and Pete said «Oh, and I painted your front bumper too.» Like for real? Totally unexpected and oh so pleasurable. Really makes paying that $ 500 deductible less painful.
Ah, but the work you ask about, how was the quality of the work. 100% top notch. I used to race imports. I know a thing or two about body work, paint, coatings, etc. Pete’s work is as good as the best shops in the San Gabriel Valley. And don’t underestimate the cars in the San Gabriel Valley. We got hot cars here that will blow the wheels in looks and speed off of any of the wanna bee racers on the Westside or Valley. Pete’s work can hang with the best of them. Perfect tint and blend all around. On the front skirt, I can’t see where Pete’s paint stops and the original paint picks up.
All in all 120% satisfied, I almost can’t wait for my next accident just so I can deal with Pete or his kids again. Pete and crew really go out of their way to make sure you are totally satisfied with their work, and they totally satisfy.

I was driving on the 210 and hit something on one of the lanes. Got some damage front side and back of the car, also there was some damage under the car.
After checking with a friend for a reference on a body shop he recommended Pete’s collision center in Pasadena.
Pete and his crew were very helpful and supportive thru out the whole process.
When the job was done I was incredibly impressed and happy with the results.
The car looks like new! Showroom new!

I’ve taken TWO cars within the past month to Pete’s which says it all really. Front bumper restoration of my Mustang and fender repair for my Mazda. The work is excellent (really!) and I got both cars back within three days, exactly as the man said. The cost was reasonable and friendly service to boot.

I have been going to Pete for 10 years, he has done work on 3 of my cars. Just recently he repaired my Audi Q7. I was involved in a accident and had damage in the rear passenger side. Pete did an AMAZING JOB repairing the damage my car came back IMMACULATELY CLEAN inside and out! I cannot recommend him enough!

Ok. so, Pete has fixed my car twice now. The second fix was perfect, just like the first time. There were other factors involved this time around, and he really went the extra mile to make things work. Truly, Pete is talented and a really good guy.
Here’s my experience: A contractor van backed into my front end while I was waiting to exit the employee parking lot where I work and my hood, passenger side headlight, and bumper were damaged. I was a little embarrassed to bring it back to Pete because the work he had done so well the first time around had been destroyed. I told him, «hey. this time at least it wasn’t my fault!» We had a laugh, and got down to business.
I left my car with Pete and my insurance company’s claims adjuster came a day or two later to assess the damage. and here’s where it gets interesting. Given that my car is a little older and has over 220,000 miles on it, the claims adjuster immediately classified it as «Totaled» and started the process to issue me a check for the assessed value of my car. which was laughably low as a result of the high mileage. This would put me in the position of having to go out and look for another used high mileage car (with unknown problems), and take my chances. Not at all my preference. I know my car… I know what it’s issues are… they’re manageable, it’s reliable, and I just want it fixed.
With Pete’s help, I got my car «un-​totaled» and Pete exchanged quotes with my insurance company and was able to fix my car within the boundaries of their assessed value threshold. He got it all done in a reasonable amount of time, and he did a really great job. He even fixed a little dent that I’d had in my right front fender from before the wreck and he and his son cleaned and freshened up my car and had it looking like new when I came to pick it up. He even noticed that my windshield wipers were shot, and threw in a new pair — on the house — because there was rain in the forecast. Unbelievable.
He also fixed my wife’s Corolla, and her positive review is also here on Unilocal.
I would recommend Pete without hesitation. The guy really does right by his customers.

Pete is wonderful. My 2011 Corolla was sideswiped on a busy street by a Ford F150, and got both my front & back doors on driver’s side dented & scraped and the side mirror was broken off.
I already knew about Pete from my husband who had his BMW repaired not long ago, so I went to him without a hesitation.
Pete did an amazing job not only on fixing what needed to be fixed, but my car came back immaculately clean inside and out. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

Absolutely Ridiculous!
Ridiculously good that is. I took my Nissan Altima to Pete’s to repair a rear bumper that was cracked on the right side and curb damage that left permanent scarring on it. The muffler was bent as well. They quoted me a price that was fair, but what got me was he said it would take only a few days and he kept his word. I brought my car to him on Monday morning and today is 2 days later and I can happily say my car looks like it never had bumper damage. I am a person who likes it when you make a promise and you keep it. Pete gets my vote of confidence! Great job guys.

My car shakes when I step on the brake at around 50 – 60 mph. I took it to the dealer and they want 100 dollars for diagnosis. I am not willing to spend the money just for diagnosis. I took my car into Pete for some body work and mentioned this to him. He told me exactly what is the cause and I got it fixed. He told me it was my rotors needs replacing. I needed new brakes soon afterward and I replaced the rotors at the same time. The problem is gone now. I am very happy. It makes driving my car enjoyable again.
My wife just had her car fixed by Pete after she got into an car accident. I took 6 weeks to get the parts in and before the accident she wanted brighter head lights so Pete put in xenon lights for her too. The car is running great and looks perfectly new again. Plus the new head lights is much brighter. She is happy so I am happy.

Brought my Z4 for some repair after hitting and breaking the lower part of my bumper on a curb. With it being something I was paying out of pocket I shopped around and came across this little shop behind a gas station.
Pete was a really nice guy and was really honest about what he needed to do to repair my car. I also liked the fact that he had his son with him helping out which gave the place a nice family feel.
The car looks great and best of all it didn’t break the bank.

Two thumbs up! If you have a BMW and want to ensure only BMW parts are used to repair your car this is the place to go. My front bumper needed to be replaced, my hood repainted, and I had dings all over. I was referred to Pete by my mechanic and I’m very happy I took his advice. Pete is a BMW fanatic and very knowledgable when it comes to dealing with insurance companies. BTW, one lesson I learned was to let Pete deal with the insurance company.
